  1. Similar statistics from when we signed Gary McSwegan! Was it Slew that turned out to be rubbish? Maybe it was Arquin I was thinking of!
  2. What about Jordan Slew? I see he's in talks with County again and ripped us apart on New Years Day. Also, what's the situation with Melvin De Leeuw? He's be great in behind Mckay IMO, don't know if he'd be too expensive though.
  3. Ian Wright certainly did as we all know. I think Gary Lineker played Thistle at the Kingsmills in a pre-season friendly once as well.
  4. I always found this tiki taka tooky wooky stuff always a dull as dishwater to watch. Endless passing is boring and not exactly going to get people through the turnstiles - if anything it'll turn people away. The Chile, Netherlands, Colombia, Germany etc, get the ball and attack - IMO that's good football and far more exciting to watch.
  5. Probably wishes he does. We live our "hum drum" lives up here in our "Tolkeinish" surroundings apparently.
  6. I think it was the same game yeah. He'd just been released by Newcastle and was up on trial along with another ex-Newcastle left-back called Lough or something like that.
  7. No thanks, he's absolutely rotten!
  8. Not officially one of our ex-players per se, but I see Callum Morris, who was a centre-back on trial with us a few years ago has signed for Dundee United after his contract at Dunfermline ended. Played in a friendly away to Clach as I recall. Huge guy as well.
  9. We did want him. He turned down a new deal.
  10. Not fit to lace Redknapp's gym pumps though according to Larry here!
  11. Is Juninho the only World Cup winner to play against us? He played for Celtic against us in 2004, but it was at Celtic Park. He never played up here.
  12. ha ha - that's so funny Ehm....not sure what you found so funny? Hodgson has a good record all over Europe and has managed clubs like Copenhagen, Inter Milan (twice if you count his time as caretaker) and Udinese. He also did well at Fulham and West Brom (Liverpool not so great). Redknapp doesn't really have a particularly good record at all. Hodgson also has international managerial experience with the UAE and Finland and also managed Switzerland at USA 94. Would be nice as well if you could make a point by backing it up like a normal person and not by coming across as a patronising arrogant ignoranus.
  13. Who cares?
  14. Harry Redknapp didn't get the job because he isn't a very good manager, nor does he have the international experience Hodgson has. Provided England get past Uruguay and Costa Rica (not guaranteed by any means!), Ivory Coast and Colombia could well be too much for them I reckon. Both were very impressive in their first game, particularly Colombia.
  15. Think I'm right in saying that Celtic are having two away games to start the season due to Celtic Park (and it's surroundings) being used for the Commonwealth Games this year.
  16. Seemed to regret leaving from one of his tweets. Don't think he ever actually played a match for Kilmarnock.
  17. He was in the 2006 squad but got injured and never played. I see also once played for the brilliantly named side Joe Public FC!
  18. Never has.
  19. Gary Warren said that Butcher wouldn't go to Hibs. He was wrong.
  20. Bamba - Dunfermline Athletic - Ivory Coast
  21. Michael Fraser has signed a one year deal with Elgin City and our former-U20 Georgian Dachi Khutsishvili (did he ever actually sign?) has left Clach to seek a club down south.
  22. Kevin Kilbane - Coventry City, 2012. Played for Ireland in South Japan/Japan 2002.
  23. San Jose - Liverpool XI, 2008 - Played for Paraguay in 2010. Now at Athletic Bilbao.
  24. Craig Moore, Robbie Keane and Mark Viduka never played at the Caley Stadium I don't think. Jim Leighton played for Aberdeen here a couple of times. Presume John Collins and some of the France 98 Scotland squad did as well. Jackie McNamara certainly did for Falkirk in about 2009. David Weir was in the 98 squad as well.
  25. That reminds me, in the A League, it's not unusual to see managers have a sponsor on their collar. No really!
