Charlie Christie in the Sunday Times
Brilliant interview.... A real shame he feels half of our supporters are against him.... that is not the case, but I do wish the Bonzos, and the Midge55's of this world would shut the feck up... CC... You're doing a great job..... Please don't let these ignorant and pathetic barstewards grind you down.... :018:

Charlie Christie's Christmas Letter

Hmm
I don't think any of our lot who were at East End Park yesterday, would have too much trouble accepting that statement, TM4TJ.... :004:

Will we stop complaining if we draw or beat Rangers?
I'd be happy with 1 point from the 'gers... 3 would be a fantastic bonus.... The real big one for us is the St Mirren game on New Year's Day.... :022:

Dunfermline V ICT - matchday thread
Quote from Rig : Blacks Subbing - poor show. He was obviously annoyed with the decisions that had gone against him this afternoon but his reaction was very poor. Then again if you were being subbed for Russell Duncan and had been arguably one of your sides best players I'd be a bit annoyed! I agree... I would have kept him on... even running the risk of him collecting another yellow card, then sent off.... Unfortunately today, he was a one man band in the midfield.. but you can't fault the guy for the effort and comittment he produces week in, week out..... :022:

"Charlie Isn't The Man For The Job"
Sacking the manager very often only brings about a short term improvement.... Look at D/United... lost today against a cr@p Hearts side.... They'll soon be back down there with St Midden and Dumpfermline.. where they belong...!!

Dunfermline V ICT - matchday thread
I disagree with Scotty, too..... The pars weren't all that bad today.... There are signs of improvement from them with their new management team.... They made life difficult for us today and probably just about deserved a point. Everbody was talking this game up as a six pointer...... The St Mirren game will be more like a six pointer, which could leave them and the pars to fight for SPL survival... If Dods, our best player by a country mile, sticks it out with us till the end of the season, we should have no relegation fears, and could still be looking to finish within the top six, or pretty dam close.... HE WILL BE A VERY HARD ACT TO REPLACE.....

Line up for Saturday?
He lost a couple of goals he would normally have prevented with his eyes shut.... I'm a big fan of Broonie....always have been... Goalie was my position in a by-gone age... I suspect he would admit last Saturday wasn't his best ever performance in an ICT shirt... It wouldn't do any harm to give young Michael a chance tomorrow.... even if just for this one game...

Bozo : :020: You say you've supported ICT for many years.... Have I missed something? Was there a time when they performed much better, and achieved much more than they are just now? I can't figure it out.... either you were in the running for the manager's job when Brew left, or you are an elaborate wind up merchant.... I agree with Mantis.... :022:

Line up for Saturday?
Brown or Fraser Tokely McCaffrey Munro Hastings Wilson Black Rankin McBayne Wyness Dods
-
Major doubt over Dargo
Just heard that, too.... What about bringing in McCaffrey and playing Dods up front with Wyness?

Mark Brown and penalties
Rig : I haven't forgotten MB's amazing saves in previous games.. his handling & alertness is second to none.... all I'm saying is he didn't have a good game yesterday... it wouldn't or shouldn't do any harm to let young Michael start next week and show us what he's capable of.....Just for one game.... I'm quite sure with his experience MB will continue to be first choice keeper for years to come....
-
Mark Brown and penalties
Broonie's been first class all season.... if he had been up to his usual standard today we would have won this one 3-1.... All he seemed to do today was lift the ball out the back of the net.... We are fortunate to have an excellent reserve keeper.... It wouldn't do his morale any harm to give him a chance next week.... More performances like this will certainly help put more bums on seats.....

Mark Brown and penalties
Not at all.... he cost us 3 points today...... :020:

Mark Brown and penalties
Just watched the highlights on Setanta.... he was vey poor today... ok..so everbody has an off day, but this is one we could have, and should have won..... Give Fraser a start against the pars..... :022:

That's Better!!
My big worry is our MoM today fecking off in January.... Then we'll have serious problems.... :024:

ICT V Killie (matchday thread)
I've been shouting for Sutherland getting a game for long enough.... Can't believe the first thing he does is to give away an totally unnecessary penalty....... :020:
-
Brew for Killie....
Dons & St Mirren now interested in signing Brewster, as well as Killie..... they all seem to think he's got something left to offer. :024:
-
Brew for Killie....
Can't sign before Jan 1st surely?
-
Brew for Killie....
Reported on teletext tonight Brew looks set to sign for Killie.... I still say we could have done with someone with his skills, if even just for the rest of this season.... :020:
-
Happy Birthday Brew
Not even till the end of this season? There would be a good chance of him, not only scoring a few goals, but setting up a few more for Dargo.... Could be crucial by the end of the season.... :018:

Happy Birthday Brew
I'm reliably informed (seriously, not like IHE!) that he is considering offers from two SPL sides, and one Div1 side....
