I thought this was an excellent and very believable interview with one of the most articulate managers in the SPL. It was a good piece of journalism, and one from which Charlie emerged with a whole lot of credit.... I would be very surprised if he should claim that he never said half of this, or that he was in any way mis-quoted. I also cannot believe the amount of nit-picking that has gone into an article comprising a few straightforward questions which were answered with a rare and straightforward honesty.... Isn't it time we had a CC free zone in the ICT forums on this site..? There are currently seven topics on Page 1 alone, more or less inviting criticism on the manager. Am I the only one that's beginning to find the whole thing a wee bit tedious?

Well I sincerely hope Black isn't dropped for the Rangers or St Mirren game.... he was one of the few players on the field on Saturday who looked as though he could have helped us get a win. This game we all love so much has a long history of great players who could throw their toys out the pram when things didn't go quite as they would have liked.... Billy Bremner, Kevin Keegan, Graeme Souness, Butch Wilkins, Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, many more all with one thing in common.... a fierce desire and a passion to win things.... A good management team should endeavour to nurture that kind of talent and comittment.... not kick it in the boll0cks......

Blackie gave his all yesterday.... he was brilliant. His anger at getting subbed was understandable....
