  1. I certainly hope so, but will that silence his critics..?

A pretty stupid generalisation if you ask me.... Everybody responds to criticism in different ways..... As far as this thread is concerned criticism doesn't enter into it.....We are talking about foul mouthed abuse here.......

    Hi Guys

    :015: :015: :015: :015:
  4. NO WAY...... We've got the SPL's rising star in charge...... and long may that continue... :003:
  5. so Brewster for Raith Rovers now.... He'll probably be available as from Monday am....!! :015: :015:
  6. Has Leishman deffo quit, H/Dee? He's been associated with that club for so long now.... I'm so bl0ody old I remember him as a player there...... :006: Not sure if Levein will take that one on... he's not the most popular guy around Dumpfermline toon....
  7. Miserable barsteward...... :019: :019: :019:

Very fair comment, Harry.... thanks for restoring a little sanity to this thread..... :clapping04:
  9. Yeah... I'll drink to that... :003: Are you buying..? :001:
  10. So how do they keep this sequence of excellent results going...? Adopt the Ibrox tactics? Or the "going for broke" approach with 5 across the middle that blew Falkirk away? :001: Hopefully they will bear in mind that they won on Saturday 'cos Russel Latapy is only good for 45 mins.... that half-time fag always finishes him off.... also the fact that there was no one in goal for Falkirk helped a lot...... :015: Decisions decisions....Who'd be a football team manager...... :006:
  11. Doesn't quite add up does it..?
  12. I agree... Not only did they take three valueable points yesterday, they learned a **** of a lot as well. :notworthy01: :notworthy01:
  13. Tragic innitt...? My heart bleeds for them.. The only winners here will be Dundee fans who'll get to see Dundee derbys again...... :003: :001: :015:
  14. You've got to say that the transformation in the last 20 mins, with the subs and tactical changes were entirely due to the management team.... If CC doesn't win the manager of the month award this month, I'm a Dutchman.... Van der Johnboy....
  15. Quick question and not a dig... Why would Caley have a "superior fitness level "?? Falkirk are one of the few clubs to actually train full days and have there own full size gym at Stirling Uni. So.... Who were the fittest side at the end of that, Pesky Bairn..?
  16. I haven't said Caley are in for an easy 3 points tomorrow.... but if they can keep it tight for most of the game (like they did against Rangers & Dunfermline) they'll take something from this one - at least a point... I hope they'll have Denzil & Zander on the bench - good guys to come on even with just 20 mins to go..... My biggest fear is the fans will get on their backs if it stays at nil-nil for too long.....
  17. It's a legacy from the Brewster days, pesky bairn..... It is about the only thing he gave us right enuff.... You'll see what I mean tomorrow about 4.45pm...... :001: :001: :001:
  18. After last Saturday's game., this one is tailor made for us to land on our backsides... The tactics should be to stop Falkirk scoring at all costs for 70% of the game, then hit them with all we've got.... Hopefully our superior fitness level will be the deciding factor....
  19. An it wisnae a' that great..... :015:
  20. Or higher.....
  21. If Celtic were to get to the final stages of the Champions League, it would raise the profile of the whole Scottish game.... here's hoping Rangers also get a result tonight.... So in answer to your question..... I care.....
  22. I wouldn't argue with that line up but I'd like to see Denzil at least on the bench, if he's fully fit. Also hoping that our support doesn't start giving them a hard time if the score stays at 0-0 for most of the game.... It won't be an easy 3 points that's for sure - but Caley's superior fitness towards the end will certainly help......
  23. :015: :015: Brilliant...!! I was watching it on Sky to get away from Archie & Andy.... Reminds me of a game in the mid-nineties... Falkirk were playing Dunfermline, and Archie & Davie Provan were doing the commentary for Radio Clyde....... Archie : OOOhh... here's Andy Smith with a chance....wooooooffff... what a shot - what a goal... 1-0 Dunfermline...... Oh no - what's happening... The ref's indicating a free kick to Falkirk... must have been offside although I don't think the linesman had his flag up..... strange one that.... Provan : The ball hit the side netting Archie.... It's a goal kick to Falkirk....!!!!
  24. Which is excellent news for Caley & their supporters....!! :001: :001: :001:
  25. Caldow's leg break, as far as I recall, was a straightforward shin fracture.... Durrant suffered cruciate ligament damage, which can be (and was) a far more serious injury. Jim Baxter also broke his leg in 1965 and made an excellent recovery
