  2. I was at Hamden the last time we beat Italy (1965) thanks to a goal from John Greig.... :022:
  3. A couple of my recent posts have vanished into thin air without as much as a hint towards an explanation. There are far too many mods on here now - one of them (maybe more) is obviously getting ideas way above his/her station.. :024: Power corrupts.... :017:

  8. Yeah - the speed camera points will be the only points you'll be collecting this weekend, Mitch... Castle St is a good area to head for for something to eat - especially if you're with a lady..!! Gringo mentioned the Castle Tavern - it is a good one - great food, and great real ales... It is now owned by the same guy who owns the Clachnaharry Inn, mentioned by Scotty - so both places are equally good. Also worth checking out on Castle st is Number 27 mentioned by Dumpmaster, and Cafe 1, same street. Don't think anyone mentioned Johnny Foxes, by the river on Bank St - good pub grub, and always lively on a Saturday night, with good live music... As others have said - you're spoiled for choice here. Hope you have great night on Saturday - and a feckin awful afternoon.... :023:
  9. I'd nominate FW for keeper.... Great at going down on onrushing strikers.... :014:
  10. If the club was to be relieved of Marius's wage bill, there would probably be enough cash on the table to tempt Darren Dods back, as well as Brown....
  11. Govan Jaggie - can still be found drinkin in dodgy govan bars in questionable company :023: and slotting the ball past me at 5's on a wednesday night :018: :029: Bronson - sleeping in greenhouses i think :004: :015: ITN - changed his name to yompa then to F.Gump and went walking, he figured he'd got this far so he might as well keep on walkin... then he got yon far, figured he'd got that far so might as well keep on walkin... The Coia's: Iain - last seen being dragged out of Love street by UN peace keepers. Caley Ally - still campaigning for Iain's release from Guantanemoe Bay. Ginga Ninja - sold the family house while Ally was visiting the vice president of the UN in Strasbourg. Is now an international playboy who moulds himself on peter stringfellow. (picture a ginger peter stringfellow if you will :010:) :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :003: :003: :003: :003: :003:

  14. Wasn't a gun of East German, or East European origins found down a drain soon after the murder? As far as I can recall it was directly linked with the crime...
  15. I'll be thinking about them.... I still find it very hard to comprehend that something like that actually happened in Nairn....

  19. If he was to make a move it needn't necessarily be bad news for Scotland.... Roy Aitken would be the natural choice to succeed him....
