There are some brilliant musicians who play bass & drums - FBS just wasn't one of them.... Some keyboards more or less play themselves.... so yes - a less than talented musician can hide behind them. Aren't most DJ's frustrated musicians who failed to make the grade..?? Plagiarising the work of others - re-working it a bit - and making money out of it, is certainly in the best traditions of pop music, but to descibe it as art..?? You cannot be serious.....!! Cook played Bass guitar with the Housemartins... I could probably have done that.... Their music was hardly avant-garde... Even if the Rankin deal doesn't through it is not going to be the worst case scenario.... We've managed quite well without him so far.... It is starting to look as though we will start this season with the same squad we finished with last season... Will that be such a bad thing? That squad finished the season improving with each game.... 2006/2007 will also be CC's first complete season as boss..... he didn't do such a bad job for his spell in charge last season..... Wee bit of an understatement with that suggestion, Hielandee - I propped myself up in front of the box with a couple of tinnies - hadn't felt so confident since the World Cup in 1978 - when Scotland squared up to Peru, in Argentina.... When Andy's match finished it was kinda like deja vu ...all over again, in fact. Thank God we Scots have learned to live with, and accept these wee disappointments that happen now & again... unlike our southern cousins who are still quibling about that bl*ody sending off in Germany.....
