If I was a manager and looking to sign Rooney I'd also try and get Hayes as they seem to have a very good understanding and you'd get the pair of them for peanuts .

It's a very unfair system IMHO , what about the fans that work shifts or who only get to see their kids every other weekend ? Should they have to buy tickets for games they have no chance of seeing ?

Yeap. Good sportmanship and all that on our part though, they had a pretty hectic schedule around the first re-arranged date. The change was forced on us by the SPL and Butcher is not happy about it , just saw him on STV news having a rant about it .

Not a bad attempt at all seeing as they have now made an official bid for him to play in Russia's top flight. I've yet to see an official statement from ICT or the Russians regarding this . The only quote I've read has been from Terry Butcher rubbishing the claims .

Sad day indeed if that was the case. You'd think the younger generation would get their act together. Not as if there is a shortage of headers in the town. Was speaking to a few older headers ( ex ICI ) yesterday who were disgusted at the way Elgin had the run of the town on Saturday , was talk of an ICI reunion if it had gone to a replay .
