Anyone else watch the Barca - Real game last night ? Barca thrashed Real 5 - 0 in what must surely have been the most one sided game ever between the great rivals . Some of Barcelona's play was simply breathtaking and IMHO was the best football I've probably ever watched , even with our great record on the road I think even ICT would've struggled to keep our unbeaten run going last night !!!

I think there's a bit more than that to it in this specific case. Hugh Dallas occupied a senior position within the SFA and the Protestant - Catholic divide is (unfortunately) a significant feature of football in Scotland. (I could go on to argue that it is extremely significant but won't digress here.) Furthermore the email was against the side of that divide subscribed to by many followers of the club which is claiming there is an institutional bias against it within the Scottish game. That severely aggravated the whole thing. Good post Charles , all that idiot Dallas did was fuel the fire of the paranoid Celts and help them justify their " they're all out to get us " conspiracy theories .

I noticed that Celtic didn't wear there hoops yesterday but wore there away strip for some reason , I wonder if it was to appease the green brigade as they didn't want poppies on the hoops ? maybe just maybe they wore their away kit because they were playing away? Why does there always have to be a conspiracy theory with Celtic? Why would they wear their away strip when it in no way clashes with St. Mirrens strip ? Do they wear it at Ibrox or Pittodrie etc. ? I believe a lot of the problems the Green Brigade and their ilk have with the poppy is that the UVF used the poppy as an emblem representing all things loyalist . Tit for tat sectarian B/S if you ask me .
