  1. An olde skinhead git who has just drunk a large malt too quickly.
  2. Deserved red card for McManus. Not the last man but just a completely cynical foul about one second after the ball was away. Basically he took a kick at Driver when the ball was twenty yards away. Well done to Hearts for holding out.
  3. HT: 2-0 FT: 4-0 1st Scorer ICT: Imrie 1st Scorer Opp: Nobody Crowd: 3161
  4. It would appear that simple dimple has been rumbled by georgeios.................../\..........Some folk will try anything more than once. Same again for me Terry.
  5. He bounce matched yesterday and scored against Aberdeens squad.
  6. Only admin can update prediction league.
  7. Link to website report Dons site red TV is a payable option
  8. Don't know, but there could be a number of reasons. Possible that the SPL/SFL do not authorise these games, no police presence/stewarding/catering etc, maybe even ugly fans. Low cost games, and they give squad players/injured players a run out without being too competitive. Good to see Eric and Andy scoring, also young Shane Sutherland. A few decentt Dons players given an outing. Don't know yet what the ICT squad was.
  9. just for you......from Aberdeen site Jimmy Jabby scored an own goal....................oops. Aberdeen Res 3 Inverness CT 3 Aberdeen Reserves drew 3-3 this afternoon in closed doors friendly against Inverness CT at the Barracks, Bridge of Don. Tommy Wright got a goal and another good run out as he battles back to full fitness. Maurice Ross also played as did Mackie, Maguire, Aluko, Duff and Young. Scott Bain was in goals with a back four of Ross, Crawford, Duff and Clark Robertson at left back. Young Clark had a very impressive game. In midfield Young and Stewart were in the centre with Maguire on the right and Aluko on the left. Although the two players switched wings at half time. Up front Tommy was partnered by Darren Mackie. In a very entertaining and open match Inverness took the lead through Eric Odhiambo on 26 minutes. Aberdeen equalised on 40 minutes when Chris Maguire did really well down the right. His cross was half blocked and Tommy Wright was on hand to slot the ball home. Andrew Barrowman then put ICT back in front on 57 minutes but two minutes later the Dons were level again. Sone put in another great ball and it appeared that Inverness defender Lionel Djebi-Zadi got the final touch to put the ball past his own keeper (59 minutes). Then two minutes after that Aberdeen went in front. Sone Aluko played a superb long ball to Darren Mackie who latched onto it and finished well. (61 minutes) Mark McGhee then made a number of substitutions and Aberdeen lost their shape a bit. On 76 minutes after a bit of confusion at the back substitute Shane Sutherland was given room and he made the score 3-3. Both teams had a number of chances to win the game but Scott Bain and his opposite number Kyle Allison both made some good saves. Mark McGhee will be pleased to have given a number of his first team players a good run out. RedTV was there and will have the goals on at some point. Team: Bain, M Ross (Jack 73), Robertson, Stewart, Crawford, Duff (Shaughnessy 75), Maguire, Young, Wright (Low 65), Mackie (Sorensen 84), Aluko Subs Hansson, Lukasik
  10. yes
  11. Regardless if this is true or not, I don't want to see him anywhere near our club, end of.
  12. Lets hope it's the start of a nice wee run up to Xmas. If all goes to plan then we could be sitting around the head of the chart. if it was a one off, then it's back to the drawing board for Buther and Mo.
  13. I agree. Rooney is quite a robust player and if he keeps on the defenders shoulders then he won't afford them much time. His downfall is his lack of acceleration, but he makes up for it with effort.
  14. Superb result and first ICT hat-trick for a long time. Can't remember the last. We used to get loads, spread between Wyness and Ritchie. Bring it on home Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
  15. Maybe............................. I remember watching an Edinburgh derby a few years ago on tv. In the last minute, they picked the MotM and they awarded it to Jean Louis Valois, he had scored a spectacular goal and was credited with two assists. There was about 4 minutes of injury time played and Marc de Vries who had already scored two goals, scored another two as Hearts finished with a flourish. He scored four goals and JLV was man of the match.
  16. Can anyone else play the banjo horse. Made me laugh out loud anway :D :P
  17. Wooohoooo Looks like we turned the clock back yesterday..........twice.
  18. A day to remember for Granty then................good stuff.
  19. Oh dear................Butcher must go....... Out out out. Great little pick me up, theres nothing like getting a few goals to warm your cockles.
  20. It's all good so far, lets go for the jugular.
  21. Oh goody, Raith have equalised at Dundee.
  22. Well done Rooney have faith in the boy, he will be our top scorer before the end of the season
  23. Our defence needs a caning at the moment. I see Dundee have scored.
  24. Interesting starting eleven. Roy McBain out oif favour again, Hayes probably still needing some time after the injury last week. Cox drops out, that is the biggest surprise.....well, next to Stratford being in the squad. Rooney could be the guy to benefit from inclusion, if he can take some of the numerous chances that come his way.
