If you freeze the play when the pass is made for our disallowed goal Bray is clearly onside.

Maybe a change of tactics is needed. For some time now since Administration began the philosophy was we must now start winning games. Admittedly the squad numbers have been depleted recently by injuries and a key player suspension but the need now is not to lose games. In days gone by eking out an extra point or two could have saved us - relegation both from the SPFL and Championship!! Starting this Saturday it needs a more cautious approach with regard to defence not that this means 11 behind the ball. However, charging off at speed in the first 25 minutes will not succeed. We played really well against Cove in the Scottish Cup so need to try and repeat the desire to stop losing.

Taking control after the work so far is unlikely to be easy. On the face of it Savage has thrown down the gauntlet and questioned whether he has competition. He must see what he is doing as a legacy for his achievements. On the face of it we are lucky that he seems so committed and is prepared to fight to run the club or company efficiently and effectively but more economically. In the short term - a day can seem like a week in the life of the football side - we can but hope the players play out of their skins in Dumfries tomorrow given a week of positive news.

In the P and J today Bryan Jackson from the Administrators is reported as saying that the club could be debt free and ready for sale in weeks.

Musa
On the bench last night when Gambia lost 1-0 to the Ivory Coast who have a few Scottish based players - did they come home on the same plane?

Presumably Alan Savage is not party to the organisations who have expressed an interest to the Administrators in buying INVERNESS THISTLE AND CALEDONIAN F.C. LIMITED. Consequently if the hurdles to gaining control are resolved the Administrators can update potential bidders and set a new deadline for offers - presumably quite a quick one. Any consortium Alan is able to create would not necessarily emerge as preferred bidders. With regard to Scotty's analysis what we do not know are the unknown variables that have impacted on decision making. Beyond that his analysis seems very reasonable and balanced.

Jags v Wasps March2025
Brannan was immense today with Adam, Alphie, Keith and Paul showing their potential - apart from Adam, none will be with us next year. Aidan can be proud of his debut - he saved us at the end. We are unlikely to see Billy ever score again. Let's hope Charlie is nominated to take any future penalties if we get any in our remaining few games.

RM being disqualified as a Director would have a significant impact on his finances. However, that might not help the club (football company) if it is liquidated.

Gambia National Football Team
It will be interesting to see if any of our supporters know much about the Gambia National Football Team. Here are a few facts from the internet. Johnathan McKinstry is a Northern Irish football coach who is the head coach of the Gambia national football team. Yankuba Minteh is a Gambian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the Gambia national team. Ebrima "Ebou" Adams is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for EFL Championship club Derby County, and the Gambia national team. Musa Barrow is a Gambian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi Pro League club Al-Taawoun and the Gambia national team. Omar Colley is a Gambian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Super League Greece club PAOK and captains the Gambia national team. Abdoulie Sanyang is a Gambian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Croatian Football League club Hajduk Split. From FIFA Group F 1. Côte d’Ivoire | 10 pts 2. Gabon | 9 pts 3. Burundi | 7 pts 4. Kenya | 5 pts 5. Gambia | 3 pts 6. Seychelles | 0 pts Matchday 5 fixtures Gabon - Seychelles Gambia - Kenya Burundi - Côte d’Ivoire Matchday 6 fixtures Kenya - Gabon Côte d’Ivoire - Gambia Burundi - Seychelles Current form The Elephants successfully negotiated their way through the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers by finishing second in their group, with three goals from Jean-Philippe Krasso and Oumar Diakite. They have the opportunity to stretch their lead at the top of the World Cup qualifying standings against two teams who did not qualify for the AFCON, Burundi and Gambia, the latter having finished with a 1-0 win over Tunisia. Gabon share the same ambition, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his team-mates play host to Seychelles, who did not take part in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, followed by a date with a Kenya side who failed to make it out of the group stage. The Kenya national team will first face Gambia on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Stade Allasane Ouattara in Ivory Coast. The good news for Musa is that the stadium has many similarities with Stade Longman on the Dolphin Coast. https://www.google.com/search?q=stade+alassane+ouattara&sca_esv=91bb133fe540f3f2&biw=1280&bih=585&sxsrf=AHTn8zp8x5gmuJ25XwI39ONpH10Mqzluvg%3A1741942354858&ei=Uu7TZ4qONJyahbIPvaK2wAM&gs_ssp=eJwFwTsOgCAMANC4mji7MrjTagTkCN6ipdTFTyKYcHzf6wd7WMRUHKvWC7o4QdOELG5jlkU9SITGCCFpyCt4TDLLPpZKkg2dVArd2Twf1Uov_aoaGRQ&oq=Stade+Allasane+&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiD1N0YWRlIEFsbGFzYW5lICoCCAAyDRAuGIAEGMcBGA0YrwEyDRAuGIAEGMcBGA0YrwEyBhAAGA0YHjIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB4yBhAAGBYYHjIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB4yBhAAGBYYHjIGEAAYFhgeMhwQLhiABBjHARgNGK8BGJcFGNwEGN4EGOAE2AEBSO-4AlAAWL-hAnACeACQAQCYAZ0BoAGKD6oBBDcuMTC4AQHIAQD4AQGYAhagApw7qAITwgIKECMYgAQYJxiKBcICExAuGIAEGMcBGCcYigUYjgUYrwHCAhAQLhiABBjRAxjHARgnGIoFwgILEAAYgAQYkQIYigXCAgsQLhiABBiRAhiKBcICCxAuGIAEGLEDGIMBwgIREC4YgAQYsQMY0QMYgwEYxwHCAgoQABiABBhDGIoFwgILEAAYgAQYsQMYgwHCAgcQIxgnGOoCwgINEC4Y0QMYxwEYJxjqAsICEBAAGAMYtAIY6gIYjwHYAQHCAhcQLhiABBiRAhi0AhjIAxiKBRjqAtgBAcICGhAuGIAEGJECGNQCGLQCGMgDGIoFGOoC2AEBwgIQEC4YgAQYxwEYJxiKBRivAcICChAuGIAEGCcYigXCAg4QLhiABBixAxjRAxjHAcICHRAuGIAEGNEDGMcBGIoFGJcFGNwEGN4EGOAE2AEBwgIREC4YgAQYkQIYxwEYigUYrwHCAgoQLhiABBhDGIoFwgIQEC4YgAQY0QMYQxjHARiKBcICChAAGIAEGBQYhwLCAhcQLhiABBiKBRiXBRjcBBjeBBjgBNgBAcICDRAAGIAEGLEDGBQYhwLCAiAQLhiABBiRAhjHARiKBRivARiXBRjcBBjeBBjgBNgBAcICBRAAGIAEwgIIEAAYgAQYsQPCAiIQLhiABBhDGIoFGJcFGNwEGN4EGOAEGPQDGPEDGPUD2AEBwgIKEC4YgAQYsQMYCsICBxAAGIAEGArCAgUQLhiABMICDxAuGIAEGEMYRhiKBRj9AcICDRAuGIAEGEMY1AIYigXCAhsQABiABBhDGEYYigUY_QEYlwUYjAUY3QTYAQHCAhIQLhiABBixAxhDGEYYigUY_QHCAg4QLhiABBixAxjHARivAcICHhAAGIAEGLEDGEMYRhiKBRj9ARiXBRiMBRjdBNgBAcICCxAuGIAEGMcBGK8BwgIIEC4YgAQY1ALCAhoQLhiABBjHARivARiXBRjcBBjeBBjgBNgBAcICCBAAGBYYChgewgIOEC4YFhjHARgKGB4YrwHCAggQABiABBiiBMICBRAAGO8FwgIdEC4YFhjHARgKGB4YrwEYlwUY3AQY3gQY4ATYAQGYAwnxBdf_b5IPrnn7ugYGCAEQARgKkgcKNC4xNS43LTIuMaAHtIkC&sclient=gws-wiz-serp#fpstate=ive&vhid=GhMrvjKTgIWCuM&vld=cid:bc8e8c7b,vid:t6ZUaoutzZw,st:0&vssid=_9-7TZ7DIFKKlhbIP3pyY4QQ_112 Musa follows in a line of international goalkeepers who have graced the turf for Inverness - Nicky Walker, Ryan Esson for Scotland and Owain Fon Williams for Wales.

Good news and bad news. Brilliant for Musa. Surely we can get in an emergency loan?

It did look like we had regressed back to Dunc's style. Devine eventually made up for his error for their goal with a superb volley to Bray. Quite sad to see Billy struggling to hit the net which is perhaps why Dunc realised in training he no longer had the pace or guile up front. A poor performance but in the end a critical point. Brennan looked impressive.

With Kevin Holt just signing for Derry City we will no doubt look back on the last transfer window (s) as ones where we could have lost key experienced players.

Kelty Away Feb2025
Just hope we do not get carried away with assuming we will get positive results. Drawing games may still be important against most teams in this league. However, after the cuffing by Arbroath, who now look like favourites to win the league, let's hope we show respect for Kelty and grind out a good result. Will be interesting to try and spot Morrison and Gardiner cheering the team on!!

No CaleyD that was fine. Just hope our Administrator can pin Morrison under the Companies Acts.
