  1. Mark, Roddy, Lewis - makes a mockery telling supporters we're going to train in Fife because of the high cost of providing accommodation for players in Inverness - these three do not need accommodation and I bet NONE will be replaced by better players.
  2. Always thought the plan would be to sign Cameron and then sell him for a fortune. However, playing without a recognised goal keeper could be risky.
  3. Two interesting books on Amazon. 'Where's Scot? Is he under the stairs?' ...sorry I meant Spot. And quite interestingly 'In search of Duncan Ferguson....' https://www.amazon.co.uk/Search-Duncan-Ferguson-Crimes-Footballing/dp/184596392X Will the press be gathered at Fort George tomorrow?
  4. Gardiner is experienced in football management but according to his Linkedin profile his formal education was only at Craigie High School. He does not state that he is professionally qualified in terms of Company Law or Accounting but that does not mean he is not. It is not clear what Morrison's formal professional qualifications are. A key person at the football club would have been Ian MacDonald, their Company Secretary, but he resigned on 26 April 2023. Companies House, however, was not notified of the termination until 10 January 2024. Therefore it is likely that professional advice since 27 April 2023 was outsourced, possibly to A9 Accountancy Ltd. Legal or Company Secretarial advice was probably from a separate source. One can see that the Accounts for year ended 31 May 2022 were submitted to Companies House on 28 February 2023. The Accounts were compiled by A9 Accountancy Ltd, Inverness. Described as Independent, Paul Capewell from A9, gave an unqualified statement as Auditor that the Directors considered the business to be a going concern until 31 May 2023 i.e. for the next 12 months after the previous accounts. The current remaining directors therefore got themselves between a rock and a hard place until we hear otherwise. On a separate matter Companies House state that INVERNESS CALEY THISTLE CONCERT COMPANY LIMITED is due to be dissolved on 27th June 2024.
  5. .....of a chance to re-sign an International under 21 player.............and SAVE on accommodation costs.
  6. The Board of Directors at ICT would like to thank the fans for their continued incredible patience at this difficult time. Just as a reminder, the LOYALTY period and EARLY BIRD date for discounted season tickets is 2nd July 2024. The Club has arranged three friendlies before the start of the Cup matches and is optimistic that we will have enough players soon. Contrary to some comments in the social media Board training does not start today.
  7. 14 years with the Club, badly injured playing for the Club, given false promises on operations to repair a serious injury, also due a Testimonial Match I think. Absolutely loyal and dignified human being. Contrast that with Ross Morrison. A very wealthy man. Just before Xmas 2023 he agrees a standard security with the Board over ICT FC assets etc. Then goes on a tirade against Highland Council because the battery farm was the route to pay off debts - clearly he had a BIG interest in this!!! Oversaw some last minute disasters. FORCED to resign by fans. No final dignity. P45s now sent by electronic means but nearly always after a letter of thanks, collections, and farewell drinks or party. Not a good image for a Club which clearly cannot see how damaged the ICT brand is.
  8. Was Billy in the goalkeeping jersey? Ferguson will want to drop him further back to improve playing out from the back.
  9. '....we now respectfully ask the supporters to rally around the team and the management, and a squad which will feature more Inverness and Highland players than we have had for many a long year and if ever we need the fans, it is now.' Maybe the Trust could ask the Club which team and management including squad we are rallying around. How can we currently rally around ......silence?
  10. In the P and J today 'Mark Ridgers still open to Caley Thistle talks after turning down three offers from other SPFL clubs' https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/6506669/mark-ridgers-still-open-to-caley-thistle-talks-after-three-offers/ Surely someone at the Club could let the out of contract players and some staff, who are now potentially on the dole, know if there is any chance of future employment?
  11. Good luck Corky. Well done Shane.
  12. Obvious really - Duncan only has enough players for 4 a side unless Grassa can still stroll though a game and the club loan Gary Bollan a pair of Bobby Mann's shorts from the club museum.
  13. Another key question - 'Has the Insolvency Practitioner been stood down? I had not seen this in Wiki until now - In 2009 Ferguson pledged his support to the "Keep Everton in Our City" campaign, saying: We can now take it he will actually support 'Keep Inverness training close to or in our City. '
  14. I suspect most season ticket holders do want to help the club. However, Kelty came out of the blue, Friday's season ticket announcement, completely out of the blue. This Board has over 5 years endorsed what Scot Gardiner has recommended or actions by him based on delegation they have allowed. We currently do not trust them - Aaron's situation highlights this. This week will possibly help settle the nerves. We will find out if Scot Kellacher and Ryan Essen are still employed. We will hear from Duncan Ferguson. We will find out if Roddy MacGregor, Lewis Hyde and Mark Ridgers are on board. Is Jake Davidson back? What youngsters are on board. In addition like any prudent investor we want to see the 2022/23 accounts finalised and submitted. On the assumption that much of this becomes clear or clearer and trustworthy I am sure season ticket sales will move forward and our enthusiasm to support the new team will emerge. Happy to buy on Friday 21st if we see progress.
  15. The biggest problem could be changing Ferguson's mindset about using local players. In that respect, I hope Lewis Hyde is brought in from the cold. Cameron Ferguson may be an actual signing which over a season might pay dividends.
  16. Only if they live in the Highlands and Ferguson is prepared to change his mind about managing people like Lewis Hyde and Roddy McGregor.
  17. Hopefully get some photographs on Monday showing who was at pre season training i.e. players and coaches.
  18. We have had stories from players out of contract. But what about those who had contracts? Have their contracts in effect been terminated by the actions of their employer?
  19. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45671685
  20. If we do survive, question number 1 for a player or agent - Can I get a copy of your player injury insurance please?
  21. Not forgetting the accumulation of small fines for non submission of accounts (so far less than one month) Length of period (measured from the date the accounts are due) Penalty for a private company or LLP Not more than 1 month £150
  22. In the beginning of Gardiner's life at the Club 9 April 2019 Inverness Caledonian Thistle is delighted to announce the appointment of a prominent figure in Scottish football administration as its new Chief Executive Officer. https://ictfc.com/scot-gardiner-appointed-new-ceo/#:~:text=Inverness Caledonian Thistle is delighted, its new Chief Executive Officer. 3 October 2019 - 'We have no debt now, no soft loans any more, no bank debt and we own the stadium.' https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4792055/inverness-appeal-shareholders-away-administration-threat/ Nearly five years later.....
  23. This is NOT for the Board. It is for Aaron, other players out of contract, staff at the Club, staff out of contract, currently signed up players, Inverness businesses who sincerely have helped the club, ex players who have retained their silence on key issues, and the fans of the club. This says it all...............
  24. Agreed - both in terms of prudent decision making and now morally. Gordy Fyffe is a Public Relations Consultant but clearly the last month has been an absolute disaster for him by being on the Board. The Board have brought not only the football club into disrepute but also the City. Their performance will be ridiculed far and wide. With the Chairman having handed in his notice on the day the Accounts should been signed off it is fair to say the Directors will be quite concerned about their own legal position as Directors. Therein lies the problem, there is no one in charge at the club beyond the Insolvency Practitioner and the CEO. The Honorary President is probably the lead person. Take your pick from this slightly out of date list https://ictfc.com/the-board/
  25. Appalling. Aaron is absolutely decent.
