I was wondering whether Orion will temporarily employ any of the more senior players if they are made redundant.

This is the objective link https://www.gov.uk/put-your-company-into-administration#:~:text=For as long as the, have or make employees redundant. Not sure if the application gets listed on the Court of Session rolls but as of today I see nothing listed. Happy Birthday Billy. Am sure this is one you will remember.

What we do not know is what was known to the players and staff about the off field issues in the last 12 months that made getting results very difficult. For instance, the policy on loan deals perhaps enforced by SG. We do not know the answers to many key questions.

Have you consulted Scot Gardiner about your options?

Thanks STFU. From a legal point of view the Directors today ultimately had no choice it seems but to initiate Administration proceedings. As I read what Alan Savage has mentioned, it is that he tried to get debt written off and for a while it looked as if he had succeeded. However, he did warn that he needed legal documentation to back up apparent verbal offers. So now that we are on the precipice it is quite possible the new consortium have revisited their positions.

The good news is that we are not currently in administration. We still may not go into administration. Write off your loans and debt requests or get nothing or peanuts with administration and everything that goes with it? Morrison showing his emotion in the P and J although that is all I can see - surely he has the ACE to solve this conundrum?

But as you have seen, there are many compassionate people who are doing everything in their power to help despite personal failings because they highlight the positive memories of time with that body.

Story likely to be close to reality - it is not on Fox News. I do not mean Johnnie Foxes. There has to be just a smidgen of hope that someone rescues the club - before administration, which might not end well if it happens.

In addition, the club seem confident we are playing Annan this Saturday.

Could it be that Savage was given promises on debt write off, minds changed, administration was the final card, creditors to gain nothing from a club without any real assets, and do not want to participate in the future running of the club, but at the final hour agree write off to facilitate a takeover? Why delay until Friday if there is a slight chance of avoiding all hell letting lose with administration?

He is correct in describing the impact which administration will have on the club and community. We do not know the full facts of what has actually been happening behind the scenes at the club but all here say points to the fact that SG has not helped the club avoid administration.

Our tiddly little Board and AS have thrown in the towel but surely Super Caley could still Go Ballistic in the next 6 days. Administration and Elgin passing us in the night does not seem right for the City of Inverness?

With regard to the Go Fund Me target surely there still has to be a way to reach a wider audience. Microsoft Copilot came up with this list and I wondered given the technical skills of supporters whether a video could be created to launch into mass media? o widen the reach of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC's GoFundMe appeal and potentially reach millions, here are some strategies: Leverage Social Media: Share the GoFundMe link on all social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn1. Use relevant hashtags, such as #SaveICT, to increase visibility1. Engage Influencers: Reach out to local celebrities, sports personalities, and influencers who can help spread the word to their followers21. Email Campaigns: Send out emails to the club's supporters, local businesses, and previous donors, urging them to share the appeal with their networks21. Local Media: Contact local newspapers, radio stations, and TV channels to cover the story and the appeal21. Partnerships: Collaborate with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to promote the appeal through their channels. Events: Organize fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to raise awareness and encourage donations. Update Regularly: Keep the campaign updated with progress reports, stories, and thank-you messages to maintain engagement and encourage further sharing. Create a Video: A compelling video explaining the club's situation and the importance of the funds can be very effective in gaining support. By implementing these strategies, the appeal can reach a much wider audience and increase the chances of reaching the fundraising goal.

This has to be the most amazing headline we have seen in the last six months 'Directors have to take responsibility for not taking control of financial situation at Inverness Caley Thistle.' Surely anyone who takes on the role of Director of a company knows it comes with legal and governance responsibilities as opposed to an ego trip! This is an admission of neglect. GB is one of those last standing who clearly did not realise what their role was. Credit to him in some respects for not being spineless and resigning.

Gordy only publishes good news stories. By that I mean that within every bad news story there will always be a smidgen of good news that gets priority.

Who authorised this? Other than Morrison, who had the power? The same goes for the Carlisle gift - was Gardiner authorised to do this especially at a time when it looked like his time was up?

If you take out the 20k donation to Go Fund Me, there are now only drip donations. Unless something more dynamic happens, the 200k target does not currently look achievable. Tomorrow night's meeting may generate some significant extra publicity so it will be interesting if some recent Directors help hit the target in the last hours leading up to the deadline. I may just be a little pessimistic at this early stage.

Smokies Away Oct 2024
We do have some good players for this league. In days gone by Pele was able to motivate players who like many subsequent managers put teams out who punched above our weight. After the cup final against Celtic - just out of interest for those attending on Monday night 'what happened to the £1m plus windfall?' - we have not seen good players producing for the city or shirt. And I do not blame them.
