  1. Gordy only publishes good news stories. By that I mean that within every bad news story there will always be a smidgen of good news that gets priority.
  2. Who authorised this? Other than Morrison, who had the power? The same goes for the Carlisle gift - was Gardiner authorised to do this especially at a time when it looked like his time was up?
  3. Will the wealthy Chairperson of Carlisle F C do the honourable thing and put some solid money into the Fund?
  4. Ross Morrison's legacy.........................
  5. If you take out the 20k donation to Go Fund Me, there are now only drip donations. Unless something more dynamic happens, the 200k target does not currently look achievable. Tomorrow night's meeting may generate some significant extra publicity so it will be interesting if some recent Directors help hit the target in the last hours leading up to the deadline. I may just be a little pessimistic at this early stage.
  6. We do have some good players for this league. In days gone by Pele was able to motivate players who like many subsequent managers put teams out who punched above our weight. After the cup final against Celtic - just out of interest for those attending on Monday night 'what happened to the £1m plus windfall?' - we have not seen good players producing for the city or shirt. And I do not blame them.
  7. As Donald Trump would say wear your MIGA hats today - Make Inverness Great Again.
  8. 因弗内斯喀里多尼亚足球俱乐部需要日元才能生存 https://www.gofundme.com/f/inverness-caledonian-thistle-fc
  9. One key question I have is 'Who authorised Morrison to cast a Standard Security over the Club's future and 'why'? As Chairperson he had no locus in any vote or decision making surely. Then there is the restructuring of the battery farm company - who within the board had the power within the Football Company's Articles and Memorandum to authorise the change? Did these massive decisions not need an EGM without those having an interest to authorise the changes? Has AS seen the minutes or signatures / witness signatures authorising the changes?
  10. Hopefully many of us who have expressed frustration and criticism of DF and others will shortly bury the hatchet and join the rescue boat by accepting difficulties in the re-float. It is easy to criticise and boy were there good reasons as more information on the management of the club emerged. But life is and if we do sign a good attacker we saw last week how four good chances went begging. Take pressure off Billy and some good results could follow. DF and supporters would then get a sense of relief. I now feel more optimistic that results will improve. By definition we are all grateful for those behind the scenes trying to make this work against adversity.
  11. Brooks had four great chances to score. He was really poor yesterday. If we do get a reputable striker in this week who can take pressure off Billy I can see change coming. Given our financial position that may not happen and whilst he has not so far achieved much Cameron up front from the start might be worth trialling with Brooks on the bench. To me Brooks failing to score from four good chances created for him was the primary reason we failed yesterday.
  12. Taking a more positive line, we will shortly be seeing more scouts at our games to source young talent. Savage is unlikely to stop moving forward now.
  13. Very interesting to discover if SG is still technically on the payroll which prima facie would show he is still an employee. But as STFU indicates employment law has its pitfalls for both sides.
  14. Charles, you may be correct, but unless there is something we do not know, SG left with a clean disciplinary record.
  15. Going into administration, to avoid paying SG, is hopefully not a top choice.
  16. Very valid. Morrison however created the Company to make money. There are issues involving him that make negotiations by AS that make his work very delicate. Goodness knows what would have happened had Makwana made progress towards some form of ownership or control. Nevertheless, either the Club's auditors or the Liquidator who would have carried out an audit of the trading position of the concert company either missed the vast Pandora's Box items, or someone kept very quiet without keeping a basic audit trail. Had the Concert Company been deemed to have been a 'close' company one of these bodies would have explored the situation and made notes accordingly in either the accounts or submission.
  17. The Concert Company's final set of accounts are here https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC307831/filing-history?page=1 and basically only show Ross Morrison and Liam Dalgarno made loans to the Company. Given what Alan Savage is finding with a need for a forensic audit raises serious questions about the competence of the two companies auditors. For those who do not know, it was Ross Morrison who set up the Company in 2008 with his business partner in Dundee. It did not change its name to Inverness Caley Thistle Concert Company Limited until November 2020. The loss making concert took place in July 2022.
  18. The key seems to be that Gardiner was not professionally qualified, was out of his depth, but allowed through an authoritarian management style to outwit the Board and especially the two Chairmen he worked for or under.
  19. From the P and J yesterday - Consultant and former chairman Alan Savage said sheriff officers visited the club today to collect money the former CEO says he is due.
  20. There was a suggestion he took an elbow which was missed by the officials - did anyone else see this. Feel great sympathy for him and wish him the very best in terms of recovery.
  21. On reflection that was quite brutal. Our players and management were really up for the win but in the second half Duncan the referee really seemed to lose things. The stand side lino - not sure if he was called Ferguson - repeatedly made the wrong decisions on throw ins. If you have ever done any refereeing or lino duties you do appreciate the complexity and sensitivity of each decision. However, Brooks booking, the two late tackles on Divine second half and the hoof out of QoS's defence late second half that ended up being absolutely nowhere near one of our players before going out was then given as a QoS throw in. Their goalkeeper stole yards at a free kick near the half way line yet the lino and referee did nothing when he moved back and then spun the ball forward again. Their number 5 repeatedly stole yards at throw ins yet no action was taken against him. So if the referee and lino are honest today, this was not a good performance by them. First win over the line but at a cost of some injured players. With Nolan on board we do now have an additional attacking threat. We are fortunate that next week we have the Trophy match.
  22. Apparently Joe Malin got injured - sods law.
  23. Dennis Wyness stepped in and argued he was toothless like his dad. With regard to Nolan, he appears to play in various positions including right wing so not wholly a defender.
  24. Given that the latest set of figures presumably includes a significant windfall from the Celtic Cup Final, the scale of losses to then get us relegated is mind boggling. Reference to our friend Scot Gardiner convincing the auditors that the club was or is a going concern.....clearly his last positive act.
  25. As a reminder, Rae appointed Gardiner.
