  1. Pretty harsh comments from some members - we do not know the effect COVID and injuries have had on the club so this point is very important. Next weeks game is where we must recover and perform.

  3. We must not get too cocky because COVID could cause havoc with fixtures.
  4. We must not get too cocky and screw up against Hamilton next week - hope we have learned from early season at the top. This is the best way to punish any side which provides dirty and sub standard changing facilities!!
  5. Reece needed a confidence booster so hope he now moves up a gear.
  6. Excellent link. First class presentation and great that we have Robbie here.
  7. Good signs from the game that we had learned from perhaps getting a bit too confident being at the top early in the season. Two cup games coming up where we will be playing different football so that going into December we may be re-energised. Optimistic that we may have re-discovered ourselves but mindful that QOS is a happy hunting ground and they now appear favourites for relegation.
  8. Pre Christmas offers - roll up, roll up, get your points here!! That's it, Doddsy's beginner's luck has expired and whilst there may be confidential issues behind the scenes ICT went from non-league to the SPFL by attack and fight. Now is the time to re-think and re-energise even with a reduced squad.
  9. Disappointed that Douglas Ross not running the line today. Amazing that he applies the rules but then does not follow them himself. Must be a cultural thing.
  10. We need time to reflect. Being at the top was something few of our players have experienced too often. Killie can have the pressure for a while to allow our players, management and supporters to work out how to move forward. This is a marathon and we have only just started it. We must recall how we eventually got our act together and over hauled Dundee in the famous Championship win. Going to Partick will be an interesting challenge. Even if we lose heavily, and that must be a real concern, we will stay second but the rethink has to assess how to stabilise and rebuild. Still a great start to the season.
  11. Probably time to let Kilmarnock take over top spot and allow us to re-group.
  12. Still no panic over the bridge. Took a wee trip over to see them go 10 games without a win. They did play very well in the first half with agent White trying to pass his penalty into the net. I left with 3 minutes of 6 added minutes to go and on the railway bridge heard a loud roar. It sounded as RC had broken their duck...........but as we know, they were goosed. They go to Dundee next...........Mackay is slowly screwing it up. Expect a panic pretty soon..............
  13. Shinnie for Derby's winner whilst Ryan is supplying assists for Bournemouth's promotion push.
  14. Raith are a top class side in this league. We really need to up our game after the poorer performance against Morton.
  15. In recent years the crowd could see the energy training out of our teams in the second half with teams upping the pressure. Substitutes were often left til the last 10 minutes when games or points were lost. Under the current regime substitutes seem to be used more wisely so that energy levels do not seem to ditch so much. The signing of Broadfoot was significant in my view. Both Billy and Michael's signatures were a bonus that Ross County need considerable praise for. We must not forget the bond that developed in the club last year around the personal issues which came through clearly with the support for David.
  16. 'The big question is will I outrun Glass in the sack race?'
  17. We might as well play without a goalkeeper...............
  18. Just hope Partick's performance last night adds motivation to our players today.
  19. I received an email from the club today confirming that the current COVID rules on red zones will continue until the next review scheduled for Christmas times. The club add 'We recognise that the situation is far from ideal but in what was an extremely constructive and respectful discussion, all 10 clubs respected the differing situations and challenges we all still face.' From a personal perspective this is completely sensible.
  20. Will be our toughest game of the season so far. If ever there was a game not to kid ourselves this is it.
  21. There are nine teams to keep an eye on starting next Saturday with Hamilton hoping to be the first to beat us in the league this year.
  22. Lucky in the end after significant possession and dominance. Missing chances on a big scale is always dangerous.
  23. Interesting to see Steven Dobbie came on as a sub in the 72nd minute. Storey scored in the 75th minute and Dobbie in the 77th minute. 'HEREFORD 1 AFC FYLDE 4 POWERFUL Fylde ruthlessly exploited Hereford’s lack of defensive steel with a runaway win. Two first-half goals from Nick Haughton were added to by Jamie Stott and substitute Stephen Dobbie to leave the Bulls with nothing but Miles Storey’s consolation strike.'
  24. Still remember Foran and Hayes having a bit of a scrap at East End Park so if the pressure builds today, we must keep our discipline.
  25. Always very dangerous playing the team at the bottom - Alloa under Peter Grant springs to mind.
