Highland club in takeover by Wild Sheep Sports has a better ring about it!! Where are Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein when you need penetrating questions and effective journalists?
-
If only the club did something positive to temp fans to put money into the club!!! For instance, ask Scot Gardiner to announce his final day of employment but at least confirm rumours about him staying are false. In the light of the IT meltdown extend the date for discounted season ticket sales by two weeks. Innovate by saying season tickets will be discounted after each home game to reflect remaining fixtures.

Positive performance based on some very good young players and some very calm experienced players. However, if players like Danny get injured we will struggle to say the least. However, no real complaints about today with DF using a new word and quite frequently - forward, forward. Given the fact Highland Council is currently rated the worst in Scotland for certain services, we can but hope that the planning appeal is successful. Part of the appeal states 'It should be noted that the Committee Report erroneously stated that the proposal comprised 54 storage units. The appellant seeks to ensure the Reporter is fully aware that the proposal comprises 13 only storage units.' On the assumption also that 'new owners' may be in waiting, there is the possibility of a little bit of optimism.

Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation

That is why I said 'Player treatment.' One of the reasons supporters have negative support for DF is his apparent lack of remorse for the treatment of all players out of contract. Was he responsible for advising them that their contracts would not be renewed? -

It would also be useful if journalists did not chicken out from putting key questions to DF in press conferences. For instance, in the latest he said he did not know why there was a problem with fans coming through the gate to support the players. Surely the journalists could have explained the reason to help DF understand the problem? If the conference is then stopped because the questions about player treatment, for instance, are too uncomfortable for DF to answer, then the press would have a new story. DF can bat away questions about SG but surely it is legitimate for what seems to be our highest paid manager in 30 years to be given some tough questions with regard to his role? -

You are very optimistic. Smoke and mirrors so that recently we could see that David Cameron was no longer a Director of the football club. However, despite that he is one of the influential directors on the Battery Co. This seems to be because he either owns the land or once did where the proposed development could take place. By definition there is likely to be a Joint Venture agreement between Intelligent Land Investments, the football club, Cameron and Morrison, et al creditors but that document will be highly confidential.

That will no doubt be dressed up as a cost saving. -
Sergei has a Cup Winners Cup Medal playing with Dinamo Kiev who beat Athletico Madrid 3-0 in 1986. Not Champions League but worth half a point.

I do understand that but as things stand the ICT Battery Co now has two private individuals as Directors and one who represents the football club. From that point of view the football club no longer has control in terms of voting rights. I was not aware that Cameron had become a private individual serving on what until recently was described as wholly owned by the football club. You will recall that in November 2023 THC was aware that 'In addition, the applicant’s Site Selection Statement advises that the key rights and agreements for the proposal are held in the name of ICT Battery Storage Limited, which is wholly owned by Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club.' Cameron was a Director at that stage and we now know he was a private individual. Based on what you say, relying on what Morrison said in the podcast, not updated yet on Companies House, that ICT Battery Co is no longer owned by the football club.

How do we account for David Cameron being a one third shareholder when Companies House show that he resigned as a Director of the football club on 5 March 2022 ? See https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC149117/filing-history And how do we know that the Club have moved from sole shareholder in the Battery Farm to holding just 1%? Is this belief based on a fact that has not currently been communicated to Companies House in the delayed Statement?
-
Nicola Drummond, Planning Consultant, used to be a Planning Manager at Highland Council. When the Company was set up the football club was sole shareholder. Initial Shareholdings Name: INVERNESS THISTLE AND CALEDONIAN F.C. LIMITED Address CALEDONIAN STADIUM STADIUM ROAD INVERNESS SCOTLAND IV1 1FF Class of Shares: ORDINARY Number of shares: 1 Currency: GBP Nominal value of each share: 1 Amount unpaid: 0 Amount paid: 1 However, as you can see from Companies House an update is over due. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC732789 There is a belief that Morrison may have bought a share in the Company for £250,000. However, as things stand it looks like David Cameron may have control over the Company unless it has been restructured to allow a non ICT Director to be on it i.e. Morrison. Behind the scenes this looks as though it confused Nicola as to the applicant.

Presumably time to close this sad thread and move on?
-
Remember that Morrison resigned on the 30th May 2024, one day before the accounts were due to be signed off. What did he say or do in those final hours?
-
Accruals involve certainty. Therefore the battery farm and car park issues would not have guaranteed income in the 12 months after closure of the accounts. If you cannot see the chicken you cannot count it. The Scottish Cup Final was on 3rd June 2023, but in the lead up to it there was certainty on prize money and TV income. The Accounts closed on 30 May, 2023 (later changed by a day).

Charles you are a famous author and award winning athlete, can you not spare a dime at this difficult time?

After a long wait by not just supporters, but staff and the mass media, the Board through Ferguson has spoken. After yesterday, it looks like Ferguson is not that optimistic about the Club's liquidity position. If Ujdur has been sold that upsets me. Ferguson did not seem to like him or was restricted by loan agreement restrictions on not being able to select him. If other Clubs want our players and offer cash, that's a no brainer if the Board is bluffing about the likelihood of new investment. Will Brooks be sold? Since relegation, we have witnessed the big clear out. Billy and Danny have a year left on their contracts as indeed are other players in the new squad. So fast forward, and part time football without new investment is easy to facilitate and the only sensible option to remain in existence. When Ferguson said 'You know the position of the club, that is where we are' he clearly does not know that people DO NOT KNOW. The club beyond him remain tight lipped. Someone somewhere is funding what is happening currently. As a reminder, it was Rae who appointed Gardiner 'Graham Rae, Chairman of ICT, said: “Scot has attended a number of our games this season and I have always been impressed with his knowledge of the game, both on and off the park. He has a wealth of experience in the football and business world and is highly regarded in the game.” '

If the Club had any decency it would put out a polite statement that encouraged existing ST holders to renew by 2 July to secure a small discount. We can but hope that after today's friendly that some sort of humanity exists within the club and something emerges. There is an element of guilt in not renewing but significantly more anger and distrust. It seems silly that the Club do not want money or that it remarkably is actually about to solve some financial problems. Accounts still over due with suggestion this might be problematic with SPFL Licence. -
Where does Stuart Garden Arbroath's former goal keeping coach fit in?
-
Good to see that Scot Gardiner has updated the players for 2024/25 with Alex Samuel back at the Club....https://ictfc.com/team/inverness-caledonian-thistle Wonder if he will play against Clachnacud
-
If the club grovel with an appeal to supporters for someone to play in goal against Clach and for someone to be a substitute keeper, do we have anyone?
-
To directly quote a recently non retained player about Fergusons very authoritarian management style - which does not work - 'its my way or the highway.' As we now know, that is it.
-
If the Company is not a going concern legally, the Directors should stop trading.
-
Mark, Roddy, Lewis - makes a mockery telling supporters we're going to train in Fife because of the high cost of providing accommodation for players in Inverness - these three do not need accommodation and I bet NONE will be replaced by better players.
