  1. I don't think it's uncommon for guys with a fair bit of disposable income, free time maybe a wee sense of their superior social position to take coke. That includes footballers. Or at least it has in my limited (first and second) hand experience. Wish Blackie, stupid as he may or may not have been, all the best. Edit: experience of the situation, not the drug
  2. Folk can donate things; hat/scarf seem appropriate and meaningful. But really, I'd rather walk
  3. If anyone, including participants in the charity related ICT hike would wear blue and red hats and scarves throughout, I think that would go a fair way to recognising and maybe continuing a wee part of the spirit in which Peter achieved what he did. As I didn't know him, I can't honestly say more than that. This may not be the thread for it, but my condolences and thoughts are with those who knew him.
  4. can't play football though... not prejudice just tell'n it how it is Boondocks? :swear02: Second the "falling in love, with, you" shout. It's hard not to be biased towards chants associated with end to the season, but I have spent every day since Ayr suppressing "Caley Thistle, Champions...". Can I suggest "Care free" since it seems to have fallen out of fashion. In any situation, Right enuff never fails. And while we're talking of that Ibrox win, the incredulous joy of "he's here, he's there, he's everyf***ingwhere, Djebi Zadi, Djebi Zadi", will take some beating :D First memory of Oh Inverness is at Tynecastle. I always assumed it was a (slightly) tongue in cheek comparison with Edinburgh. I may have just made that up but it always seemed uniquely self-effacing and proud, like singing right enuff, and I think that's just f****** great.
  5. Yes we were :D With a certain number 10 starting a round of his song at about 3.30am :022: Thanks for the messages of support. It was an absolutely incredible week for the walkers. The injured were missed, speedy recoveries to all. I couldn't recommend it any more highly.
  6. Best plan for a derby day that I've ever heard. Put me down for the first 15 at least; hopefully the whole thing depending on what I find when I get into Inverness tonight
  7. Word's spreading now; there's a piece in page 3 of the P&J. I can't remember being interviewed by anyone, but who cares
  8. No. Someone else has got to be contrary
