Sorry, A Sticky is the likes of a Mars Bar, Twix or somthing like that... a snack. Its what we call them when we got camping with guns, "Fill your pockets with Stickys"
-
OOOO this is abit taboo, at forres you could smoke when not in the main stand and over 75 it seemed, I would be nice to have something to be honest but in todays rules and laws I just go with it, I agree it would be awsome but then there would be a cost to it, I was thinking about having like a penned of area at one of the turnstiles where we could go at half time for a puff but then it would still need cleaned up after, we adults know how to use bins but some dont.... Its a fair comment and request in my eyes, but i wont be holding my smoky breath, Birdog uses snuff... But again some Ned will be thinking Birdog is a coke snorter lol, Pass the snuff BD

This is how I see it too, In the old days the pies were at the back of the stand you could stand and watch the game whilst in the que, Howden End was like that anyway, Today when i go to the game i'll take me seat at the start, come half time have a streatch hover around and then at kick off again, i'll stay till the final whistle, I take a sticky with me in my pocket so i dont need to que if i get peckish and a Can of brew, I will before i go try and get every drop of pee out so again in my 105 mins in the ground none of it is wasted by queing or trying In fact when i think about it now I have never been to the bogs at TCS i swear on that..... oh my i think ive got OCD... or a love for the game.. who knows.

yes, a very bad person. no, i am a traditional enough fan, if you don't want to hear bad language then don't pay ?15 to sit in a crowd where you are 100% likely to encounter just that. i did not boo at the end of the game, just left silently. i'll be at dundee, with any luck i'll be at all of the games this year, i hope never to have to see a performance bad enough to boo, and plenty to cheer on. Im lost, so in your opinions im a bad person, because of what? I bood the bad desisions the ref made, I said the off Funk Sake when the ball was fluffed and enjoyed my day sining the songs sung, I think you'll find at the start of the game when the teams came out it was the Section G that I saw getting a clap from the odd player Granty seemed to love the songs and when warming up players were running about in front to the sections they gave the odd thumbs up and wave to the area.. Im got to take a punt vision and say you sit in the main stand? GET BEHIND YOUR FELLOW FANS OR GO WATCH HIGHLAND RFC what make it that we are not behind the team if we boo, lets wrap them in cotten and always be nice to there preformance regarless, we will ive in a pink and fluffy 3 div in 2 years, fans are there to let the players know how well or not so well they are playing.. if they are doing awsome the fans are lifted and in the same breath so are the players... I read that some fans thought that R Foran was getting the **** on because the fans were not to happy, I think you will find he had the **** on because the Ayr United back line kept springing the off side due to the to long, to quick balls being played and the yellow shirts were being abit harsh.. so As with the fans, Foran was getting pissed with the standard and quality of the ball being played and the desicions going against him... lets give R Foran a hard time for being negitive....

I see that TB saw the same game as most in todays NoTW, every negitive comment made on this thread was backed up by TB's comments, so If the negitive people on here being given a hard time for making there negitive comments are bing shunned for it, lets all start on TB too..... TB strikes me as an honest man who doesnt big anyone up that he doesnt feel, and will shoot down "slap in the face" anyone, and give the kick in the bum needed, I predict big things next week now, we always do better after TB had a fit... Its a shame we cant just stay in that mindset..

As Ive said..If you felt the boo's were not to your taste then you should have tryed to Cancel it out but cheering and clapping, everyone has a right to an opinion and paid there ticket to have the right to do so however you like, I however am in neather camps on this one, some good football some not so good football, I clapped boo'd and said a couple of bad words too, I did however give a wee lad infront of my my program and old scarf.. so i left on an even keel...

Id go with that line up myself.... however i do agree Eagles needs to up his game, Highland leauge and 3 div teams he was mint.. but someone said it on here and I agree, he may need time to adjust to our game. and Eagles needs to play IMO Center Left.. so he is already in the middle and doesnt have to try bring it in, thats where he was going wrong.. Ross on would also do a job but hes right sided is he not.... Interesting.. in a good way.

Ah thats better, I love seeing people smoke beside No Smoking signs and that Park under No Parking signs, I saw an old man roll a fag from the middle of the section to the bottom in one hand and spark it up just an the gate in the ground in a really defiant way... good man, N.B Kids dont smoke, its bad for you and stuff!! dont start!

I use snuff at matches now, not as relaxing as a nice long draw on a ciggie but it takes the cravings away. I have to go for a smoke now!!! I was thinking patches, that way I could have put them over my eyes and protected them from CaleyD's shirt.. and fought off my cravings..

Im with you on that big yin, If we could award a 4th place, he'd have it for his 10min stint, what could he had done with 45 mins..

Did you do anything to create some positivity? If not then you are as much to blame. As for the swearing, deserves it's own topic really, I was listening to Off the ball on the way home and a couple of callers mentioned that the poor state of our national side could have a lot to do with the lack of kids using parks to kick a ball about. Could this be because so many parents are wrapping their kids up in cotton wool and not letting them leave the house in case they hear the odd bad word? Get a grip people, the raised emotions that are part and parcel of football lead to the odd sweary word coming out. Complaints about no atmosphere, complaints when we have atmosphere. At least we don't have our kids listening to hate filled bigoted bile at TCS. I think you summed it up there by saying "the odd sweary word"... i think any reasonable person expects to hear a few sweary words in most walks of life most certainly including football... i think it is totally unreasonable however to expose children to an environment where every 2nd word they hear is a swear of some sort... i certainly dont hear any of my friends swearing in front of their kids in that manner... maybe thats the way i have been brought up and the friends i choose to keep... but i would like to think that I am fairly normal... so why should going to a football game be any different... we had season tickets last year also in the north stand but in a different section and there was never an issue,,, Maybe its a sad reflection of society in general that most people nowadays have such a limited vocabulary that they have to resort to foul language to express themselves... i can also see that most fellow ICT fans find it acceptable, so maybe im wrong... but it is certainly putting me off and so i thought i would have a rant on here!!! PS - You also mentioned: At least we don't have our kids listening to hate filled bigoted bile at TCS. - what was being shouted at one of our own players today by a few mindless numpties was a disgrace and could have been deemed an offence under the law To address the PS first, I never heard anything of that nature and couldn't comment. Would you like to expand? As for what you describe as a sad reflection on our society about limited vocabulary when I first started to attend football matches violence, drunkenness, hatred, bigotry, urinating in terracing, broken glass, pickpocketing and all sorts of other unsavoury practices were common place. I believe that we should consider ourselves lucky that our game has progressed to the stage where a bit of colourful language is the worst we can expect at TCS. These words can be heard almost anywhere, like said before probably most prevalent on school playing fields or play parks I probably would not have taken my kids to a football match before they were in their teens if this was still the 1980s I consider myself lucky that I can take them now. must be the fresh air, but Birdog, I agree with what you have just said... I'll always remember the smell of pot that would come from the stands some days on the Highland leauge.. this was in the 80's, now there isnt even a wiff of ciggy smoke.. Whats the chances of getting a smoking area going, 105 mins today between smokes..... I was gagging!

The main stand walk over was mint!! well done big yin, I enjoyed the banter.. you tryed and passed, keep that up and we could do theamed walk round with hoola girls and the likes, I saw a few old school face's today, the likes of Marty Lyle, you should try see if you can get a view from the likes of him.. just an idea. but still mint effort big yin!!

I agree with that statment 100% If people dont like the booing and think it is not deserved then stand up and clap and cheer.. theres a positive move... If your not happy with anything and feel the need to boo then boo you have your opinion, If you dont think thats a sutable thing to do then do the positive thing and cheer and clap Fire and Ice affect... sorted..... I wasnt happy with the folk walking out with 10 mins to go, some were booed for that..............I booed quit alot due to the decisions made but the yellow shirts... Am I a bad person, I swore a couple of times at the Decisions am i a bad person?

Esson: :D :) Did what he was supposed to day wasnt really used much Proctor: :D :) :) Clean sheet so again did what he needed to Bulvitus: :D :D :) I thought he had a blinder, didnt shy away, strong lad.. I wouldnt tangle with him, he looks like he gives a **** when he's playing Munro: :D :D :D :) he was awsome at the back nothing got passed him at all, all clean tackles and whe he was up forward he got back quick, i am warming to him again!! Djebi Zadi: :D :D :D I thought he was awsome to day, he was here he was there, he had a couple of exciting runs and only 2 fluffs that i saw. and put a couple of good balls forward, and a couple of bad ones to.. hes a funny one, im going to call him Marmite.. you eather love him or not!! Eagle: :) :) he made some.. only some good runs, but found it hard when he needed his right foot, he was pushed about alot and to be honest needed taking off.. sorry Eagles but to day you were not quite good enough, you could have taken loads punts but like most didnt. Stratford: Cox: :D :D :D :D I pooped myself after about 3 mins in when he just seemed to take a fit and chased the ball right back took it.. ran it back he was like a man posessed, WE LOVE COX Hayes: :D :D :D :) Fantastic first half ran and ran passed and passed well.. I'll cover why we didnt score from his runs and passes at the end, but this guy today was much better from the last game, if he is working on his fittness then keeping this level of improvment up he's going to be someone to watch!!! Sanchez: :D :D :) I could see the reason he was playing the way he was, he was the second chance striker today, he picked up well, but didnt shoot much, no one did!!! Foran: :) :) :) Ayr's back line and the lines man owned him today!! they knew how to play him, and the Ref and lines men didnt like him much, I didnt see much from him because no 1 let him play.. fair play to Ayr for sprining the off side trap with him, but a good 3 times he was miles on side... Duncan: Im sure by now everyone on here knows how i feel about him!! Mcbain should have been used but thats not my place to judge.... Rooney: Section G seems to love him, he didnt do to bad but still seems to be missing something.. im hope terry finds it soo.. Ross: :D :D :D :D This wee man was fantastic and should be starting IMO, first touch was fantastic, passing ace, running... hes very quick!!!!! He is the future... Ross your a leg-end!! Pies and Drinks - CaleyD did say the companys funked it up so not going to blame the club.. but it was baaaaddddddd Announcer :D :D :D I liked your walking around banter, even if some in the crowed mocked you lol, it was all part of the banter, get your phone fixed tho, I was dying to hear the half times scores lol... over all, we didnt do bad, or as good as I'd hoped, ok we got a point but its been talked about on here time and time again, we had no one wanting to take a shot, now Duncan did atleast have a dig twice and fluff it, at least he had a dig, i was more pissed off at the amount of space we had in the box but nnnnnnnnnnooooooooooo no 1 wanted to have a try! Section G was mint. i was about 4 rows from the singers, the banter was mint, it was Football banter, yes there was alot of swearing but like it or not thats what happens at a match when there is a group of passionat lads, Im not getting dragged in to any slagging of any fans, the I dont like swearing team and the I do like swearing team, I really did enjoy the banter it was a great atmospher at the back and the bouncy bouncy was funny as, especial at the end when i hear one of the boys say "no more bouncy Im funked" i had a chuckle!! if however folk dont like that sort of banter at football if it was me personaly Id head for the family section or the main stand... IMO The wee lad in the middle who started singing, and the lads at the back kept eggin him on to start his chant again so the back could play along was really good to see, the wee mans day had defo been made... 3-4 years time, he'll be up there.... Officals were shocking today... i'll say no more. Ayr defended really well to. 0-0 not what i wanted, but its what we got and to be honest its a fair reflection.. Allison was geered about 3 times........... once was a one guy one line, the other was singing if you hate county clap your hands.. it was sung anyway, but at the end one lad shouted Kyle why didnt you clap, and when him an Ross warmed up there was some wee comments made... woopee thats football.. what ever he did or didnt needs sorted all the same. Ayrs keeper got much more and much worse..

If we win today then you cannot use your new top for any matches this season, it's superstition and has to be respected but if you use your puke stained top and we win you are not allowed to clean the "lucky puke" off. I will be buying my new scarf today and I will stick with it throughout, but then again I bought a new one last season and look what happened. ARRGGGHHH. I'll just break out the 1994-2004 scarf again, that one had a bit of luck to it. Cheers for bringing superstition into the fore Georgious LOL im bad for it...I wore the same clothes... Clean.. to all the pre seasons. there was a guy at the games i went to that will im sure see me and think that lad must be stinking, its ok, i found the quick wash on the machine... we should be fine now!! I had to wash it, it was really winding me up!! sorry.

Guys if it goes wrong today its my sons fault, he just sicked up all over my new top!!!! I have to go back to wearing my older top!! sorry!!!!
