Hoping to give Motherwell a spanking...........
  5. Chick's a strange one? Massive understatement. He has as much idea about journalism as M. Barrymore does about swimming pool management. He can't write! He does that grammatically bereft, strangled sentence pap reasonably, but it does get on yer nerves. Rather. Aaaaargh! His grasp of history is p*sh and all.
  6. I don't think that too many of these comparisons are valid. Riordan was laughably bad on Saturday, but then so were most of his team. Skill wise, he's capable of more. Imrie? This is what he's capable of, and it fits well with Terry 'n June's new masterplan. And James MacFadden? I would suggest not, as above but more so. But keep running, tackling, disrupting and (occasionally) finishing and DI's a more useful player than the other two.
  7. Lionel is a god like creature. Proctor looks like he has been released from the grip of an evil spell, Roy MacBain - I salute you. Highlights? Dougie Imrie's free kick (WTF?) Lowlights? another semi-prolonged dither by Grantie. Falkirk? Goodbye.
  8. Probably nothing to do with the fact that the "Press Ball" was the night before and members of the fourth estate couldnae actually see at that point (around an hour after they had stopped drinking, allegedly) Lucky we got any kind of report really. So them being on another planet - fair enuff.

    Like this!
  10. Heard a rumour tonight from an "impeccable" source that CB has been training with Ross County and might be offered a deal on a month to month basis. Says it all really.

Interesting article that, and the first time I've seen it. Curiously, I think that it achieved its main aim of increasing sympathy for the man ahead of a "difficult" fixture at Hamilton (impossibly difficult as it turned out) There are points of accuracy here though: There are more than 20 people not happy with you Craig. You know that. 20 people cannot be heard in your dugout from the North Stand, but you have acknowledged the chants from there. You have your supporters, but they are becoming fewer by the week. It was interesting to hear that you were "tactically naive and indecisive" at DUFC. The fans at ICT are of the same opinion. Worryingly, it infers that you have learned nothing from that experience. There is nothing wrong with posting anti CB sentiments on the internet, writing them or broadcasting them. If CB speaks in the papers, so can the fans. The reference to pay offs is odious. ICT took CB back when he was at his lowest stock and a bit of humility would not go amiss here. I agree that the questioning of CB's sexuality is irrelevant, offensive and does the movement to rid ICT of the man no good. It needs cut out, now. I did not, however realise that this required CB to explain his orientation to his "sheepish" dressing room (curious choice of words) and his father, and nor did I need to know. The questions are bad enough, the defensive replies worse. There is a time where CB has to rise above this crap, realistically appraise his situation and go. That time is now.
  15. Weather dreadful. Team dreadful. Tactics dreadful. Barrowman dreadful. Building a picture? Here's another one......
  16. You are absolutely right. I've just listened to his "wanting to give the fans a lift" broadcast for BBC and frankly, it's delusional. Now that is depressing. "Some" of the fans, etc. Wrong CB, it's the vast majority. You did need people to stand behind you and your vision for the club but I'm afraid that both your players and your fans have seen through you. You are tactically bereft. You are unintelligent in the way that you attempt to remedy it and your persistence in blaming players that you chose to play out of position week after week shows this. It also shows your unwillingness to take responsibility. Sort it by going. Now.
  17. Come on. At least this time he's acknowledged that the fans are "raging", but the same stock, clueless excuses are long past their sell by date. Would you ask a postie to fix your gas supply? Then why ask people to play out of position week after week? The fans have known that, defensively at least, ICT have been shot since Darren Dodds went. Rangers can, and will rip that defense to shreds. Can you see what Kris Boyd will do against David Proctor, because I can. I begin to wonder here. I used to think that CB was reasonably quick on the uptake but he's now either doing the fingers in ears "la la la" thing or he knows that he' s unassailable within the club. Either way CB, find some pride in yourself if nothing else and simply leave. That article shows that you need to. Now.
  18. All are right. This was an invasion of your privacy for no good reason. If they were filming everyone in section G that includes me and I object. The guys with the banners were restrained and polite in the face of the stewards provocation, which the female with the radio claimed she was being directed to do by "control" As interventions go, it just polarised opinion even more. It's time you slung your hook CB
