  1. Thinking about positions (depending on who stays) but CB, RB, CM, RW/RM, LW/LM, CF

    https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/scottish-championship/endendevertraege/wettbewerb/SC2

Plenty options out there, wouldnt mind seeing Blair Alston, Kai Fotheringham, maybe a young striker also Mikey Devlin alhough he has a horrednous injury record could be a gamble at CB as hes a quality player when fit. It'll all be driven by our budgets though and not sure in some cases we can afford the level of player to replace some of those leaving

    It's funny because

It's a wind up, taking the **** our of clowns who spent more time on here fussing about celtuc fans getting tickets when we could never sell our own and highlighting just how pathetic club attempts to stop either re-selling or some ict fans bringing celtic 'pals'

Was always going to happen and as expected nothing was done about it on the day and nothing will be done postbevent either.

Some of our fans need to lighten up and understand online sarcasm.......🎣🎣🎣

Yup laughing at you all the way while I skip home from banking my tidy profits from ticket scalping. Glad I made sure I only sold onto proper hard-core catholics who not only have ira tattoos but also only eat fish on a Friday.

If only we had a guy like him around. Proper physical presence and really had the measure of Celtic that season.

As you say, Celtic just keep going, its relentless and the fitness levels cannot be underestimated. Whether its early of dying seconds of injury time they can still operate at the same intensity.

Not playing for a few weeks, I really hope our guys have been working on stamina and fitness.

  5. Not surprised at PT doing well, always looked like they had a squad capable, just shows what a good manager can get happening. We will never know if we had made a similar change whether we'd be in that position or not, but I believe we have a squad of similar levels.

The benchmark is not a relegation fodder Arbroath or even the QP team who may be top but realistically its Dundee, PT, Ayr that we need to be competing and beating and recent form shows we are well off the pace.

  6. Thought by now there might be more chat about tactics and line up etc. I know we rely on Dodds ball, but how does he approach this match?

There not really a right way to set up given the quality disparity between teams.

Sit in, defend and try contain - Celtic will move the ball around and basically dominate possession and prevent any attempts by us to move out. With their high press they could just steam roller us and its game over.

All out attack, hit them hard and try play a high press copying their tactics. This relies on high level fitness and leaves us very exposed any time we loose possession to counter attacks.

Given that celtic are missing CCV and Johnson at the back, they have in recent weeks been found wanting against physical strikers who have been dominating them in the air - unfortunately I don't see us having that in our locker and balls to feet they will lap up all day long. Any high balls we wont win, so they will still be comfortable with.

I hope we look at utilising Shaw & Henderson on the wings and pushing the ball out to them with the instructions to actually push forwards and to run especially at Ralston.

  7. Given the recent punishment given to toney there are 2 thoughts here, the sfa want to take a hardline like England did and offer up a lengthy ban, or the media outcry and criticisms means it'll be lenient and support offered to allow our authorities to look more compassionate.

Not sure why way I'd bet tbh

players must be feeling underwhelmed and most fans feeling left out

It's the sort of morale building unity you'd want before a cup final, properly inspirational stuff.

Won't be long until the ST begging letters come out from the club though

  9. Yes, think you'd be right about that 3, even sell out home games wouldn't reach those figures given away allocations etc and other notable games like SC & LC semis, challenge cup finals, it's always been 2-3k.

I'd think the home game against astra would be next on the list, given the very small away support......?

IMPORTANT – These tickets are strictly for ICTFC fans and anyone attempting to sell any tickets to outside parties will have ALL of the tickets they bought cancelled and rendered unusable on the day. Similarly, any non-ICTFC fans found in the Caley Thistle section of the Stadium will be removed by stewards immediately.

Firstly unless the club has to prove the tickets have been sold on which is impossible given anyone can buy multiple. So can easily just distribute to friends and family.

Secondly, the stewards will do nothing as they get minimum wage and give zero fucks

My post has clearly riled some up, but it highlights how easy it is  not just winding folks up on here, but also for a registered caley fan to have bought additional tickets to sell on to celtic supporting friends and family. Given our core 2-3k support plus some additional fair weather's, I still expect a fair number on the day to have stronger green & white alignment than ourselves. As angry as that makes people I guarantee on the nobody will do or say anything!!!!

I'm fully expecting a few half and half 'comemorative' scarves on the day at least

I would never suggest such a thing, I am just a humble supporter, the bottom of the food chain in today's football world, what do I know!

Me neither, just not sure on other secret societies other than the magic circle and the tufty club. Given our board performance there's **** all magical and they lack direction so not sure if they'd apply

  12. What a bunch of soppy wet blankets all fussing over who sits next to them. Did you all speak up when we were in the Premiership and every celtic or rangers visit the home ends were packed.......because guess what all the extra caley fans those days weren't really there for the caley.

  13. Being serious though, I know I made the comment about the day after the cup final, but could they not just really do it at the stadium then. I appreciate some players contracts will be ending or keen to get away on hols but I'd hope they all have availability that day incase we do win. Let the fans turn up on the Sunday win or loose, open the bar, do a few hours meet and greet, kids kick about.....make it something fun and throw in the awards and some player club banter.

Really not hard to do something that's not the utter ***** they are propsing.

We always seem to miss a beat when it comes to self promotion, while other clubs have their finger on the pulse.

Been saying this since 2015 failings but usually find it followed by red dots and accusations of negativity

  15. Given next season we Dunfermline and DUtd who are easily going to be stronger than the Cove and Dundee they replace, if County or Killie did drop down too then it shows how badly we have failed this and last season in 2 very weak league line ups.

Another motivator is the fact Ross County look as though they are going to qualify for the play offs. I fully back Partick to beat them next week in the lead up to the Cup Final.

I don't follow how that makes any difference?

Celtic defence being rag-dolled today by Curtis main, appears the missing CCV means they can't handle physical and ariel threats. Shame we rely on a strike force that the borrowers look down on and lack a target man for Doddsball.

    Celtic defence owned again.......

Anyone know what big Eddie is up to and if he fancies a game on 3rd June?
