  1. Shane shows in patches that he can be a tremendous player. He will make an impact coming on in a couple of games, then get a start, but not then start the following game. I would like to see him get 5 or 6 starts in a row, even as a two up front, and believe we would find his form and potential. He is powerful and direct, defenders dont like that combination.
  2. If Rangers were to beat the deadline ( which the administrators now say is almost impossible, and they will be banned from Europe as a result by UEFA ) if they actually get new owners before the end of the season, what will happen with the BIG tax case, as its not been included in this current plight. Anyone understand what may happen?
  3. GMS had a decent game against Clach, but it was against Clach. Saying that, anyone could see he could be a big talent. That Clach game also was his first game in a very long time after an injury plagued two years at Liverpool. His body did not respond to that Clach game very well, and although he didnt get injured in the game, having not played for so long he was not able to play again for us. He was then offered a pay/play deal but wanted a full deal, so he turned it down in the hope he could get another club, and he did 5 months later. Dont blame Terry after the guy couldnt even train after one game.
  4. I think his season has had to be the worst run if injuries for a SPL team, certainly from what I remember. Again tonight we was weakened by injuries, and the team were too shy for the cameras again. BUT, because of the way this season has gone, I think we should applaud the players and manager for getting us away from trouble for the moment. Lets face it, Dundee United are a team on form, and we are not as fluent at the moment. We now have some BIG games coming up that are a bit more winnable, starting with Killie. I seriously think that next season, without injuries, we will see the better side of Terry and Mo's teams.

  8. after the Liverpool Cardiff cup final, it got me thinking. Who is the ex player who has played in the biggest club game, of meaning, after they departed TCS. Don Cowie played really well yesterday, and indeed scored a shoot out penalty when under loads of pressure. Anyone else been in such a big game! Robson in Champions league at Celtic? But they were group games rather then finals. Anyone made the Premiership yet?
  9. although we were pretty poor for much of the game today, we were as poor as HMRC were good and determined. It should have been our biggest home SPL defeat, as McCulloch crossbar challenge was over the line. Terry will have them wound up for Tennerdice, unfortunately I think Dundee utd will get top 6 no matter what next week, Hearts may be the team hanging onto top 6

  14. the Colombian David Gonzales was at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, and was on the bench. Technically he performed at half time warming up etc. I was looking for the Real Valladolid team, and the Royal Antwerp team, as Im pretty sure a few of their players may knock off a few other countries.
  15. David Gonzalez - Aberdire Colombian and likely to add an Estonian soon, Wells Ojamaa
  16. Mauricio Panilla at Hearts was fae Chile

  18. Mr Caleyjag, You have said that seemingly 7 or 8 EPL clubs have been paying players through this EBT system. I have been told that it is 17 in the EPL, with several others in the Championship, AND one other in Scotland. HMRC are going to investigate these clubs and chase them for the tax owed. No saying that any of this is ok, it was a loophole which Rangers tried to get away with avoiding tax, but even without all of this they still rung up huge debts. If Rangers had debts of £57m a while back, their annual income was probably about 66% of that. The likes of Killis were £18m in debt, with an income of around £ 5-6m, thats a 300% difference. Who has the worse financial brain?

  20. Managed to fly on holiday via Luton one year, when boarding with our e tickets at Luton after the full days wait, was astonished to find our youngest daughter was not officially booked on, even though her ticket was printed, and we had got from Inverness to Luton with just the five official tickets. After some very freted conversation at Luton as the flight was boarding, had to purchase a ticket, return to Malaga and Inverness for our 2 year old at full price. They were telling us to leave our daughter or not get on the flight, hmmm no choice really! Perfect trip, while their our older daughter caught her leg on a sharp railing, had to get 8 stitches and the hospital did not give her anaesthetic, used the wrong sutures which went septic, and she says she will never go to Spain again.

    BBC Alba

Are we Alba's old firm? Sky only really shows Rangers or Celtic away from home, to pull in the punters and viewing figures. Just noticed that we have been on Alba 6 times this season - All away from home, with another coming up at Aberdire. They must have got the schedules mixed up as they have now pencilled us in for the home game v Killie. Wonder if they have a reason for preferring our games on the road?
