  1. Every one has know Rangers have been in serious debt for a good number of years. Over the past 4 years they had managed to get this debt down a huge amount, to what was reportedly around £18m. During this time they had been paying their PAYE and VAT and tax. The Big tax case was something seperate that Rangers have found themselves battling after administrative/technical errors which the HMRC have closed the door on. Enter Mr Whyte, pays £1 for club, borrows £x million ( £27m i think ) and uses that to pay off bank debt, and then doesnt pay the tax, vat and paye. Excluding this BIG TAX case, Rangers should not be in this position. Having cleared the bank debt, even with borrowed Ticketus money, they should have paid everything else easily enough. The fact that he did noy pay anything to the tax men since he took over shows the mans intentions. I think that Craig Whyte should be the man who owes Ticketus the £27m, not Rangers. He must be a total con man. It also makes me think why are Aberdeen looking to build a new stadium when they are already in so much debt, as this will increase the burden at a time when money is such a big concern for the future. I fear that the debts the Dons are taking on will do the same thing to them. Anyone remember the level of debt Celtic were in when McCann came in and saved them, as I seem to recall they were days from administration back then too. Difference between Rangers and Celtic now, is Celtic got McCann when they needed him, Rangers got Whyte when they didnt!

  3. St J are better away from home, so we have a chance. Mind you we could have a blinder and get beat
  4. Also wonder who from the under 19s will be offered a deal to try get into the first team squad. Polworth still has another year in the 19s, so its Chubbs, Sutherland, Dingers, ETC
  5. All this drivel because we lost 1-0 at home to the team with the best away record in the SPL, and then after we boss and batter Hibs, who score with all 3 shots they have in the entire game, and we created loads of chances but luck wasnt their today. Im looking forward to next season, as I can actually see the basis of a very attractive team and style of football.

  9. Better hurry up as HMRC may become NEWco before the season end. I understand why the old firm feel they are worth the lions share of tv revenue, but they already get to keep their own home gate income. Nothing wrong with that, as they encourage the bigger support, but surely they can see its for the good of the whole of scottish football. even if they did evenly share the prize monies, their home gate income is so far ahead of everyone else that it would have little impact on the top 2 each year. However the feed down the system would be invaluable to clubs and the future of our countries football. Out of both old firm squads ( Rangers 25 and Celtics 95 ) i wonder how many are Scottish, and is that a direct result of the lower rungs of clubs being starved of money to have a good youth system??

  13. PIL have just recorded new material. Paid over £150 to see them live about 25 years ago, would pay even more now. You could get bands up here who would sell out 10,000 easily, and if they attract that many they want there cut to be healthy. Foo Fighters sell out everywhere they go. All this wishy washy pop stuff just doesnt do it for me. Sisters of Mercy 25th anniversary concert in Las Vegas cost close to two grand.
  14. Smee, if we beat Rangers at Ibrox 5-0, Celtic at TCS 6-0, and Barcelona at the Nou Camp 2-0 you would still find something to fault. I can not remember any team having so many first team players out injured for a long time as this season. When one regular is out you miss them, two effects the balance, three means your weakened, four and your in trouble, 5 or 6 and you are praying for leniency. We dont have a big squad, so some of the 20 or so players are pure squad, where if you have one or two out they can do a job, but when you have half the team injured the robustness of the squad will be reduced. Get a grip Smee, go back to County or Celtic
  15. Bucket wot u on, this will be good news, for the season they are up.
  16. I have to say a big well done to all of the team, players, Tel, Mo and the rest. Think that beating the Dons today has guaranteed our highland derbies next season. After the start we had to this season, the injuries, wrongful sending offs and correct ones, lack of clean sheets, and penalty drought. Time to start signing players onto longer contracts, and start tempting new signings.

  19. Hear tonight that he was actually dead for 78 minutes of the first 4 hours. As you say Lizi, lucky he was in the right place, at the right time with those right people at the stadium. One of the doctors who attended to him said in an interview today, he went into see Fabrice soon after, whispered in his ear if he knew what his own name was, Fabrice Muamba he replied, Then the doctor said to him, I hear that you are a very good footballer, and Fabrice replied I try. Lets hope his recovery continues.
