  1. Thats was not a surprise..... that was a shock
  2. Did Cowie not say a few weeks ago that he was happy here and that he would like to stay?
  3. What is more laughable is how the government can come out with 3% inflation figures :017:
  4. Then buy a kinder egg....
  5. I was praying that we might have signed a defender..... :009:
  6. Nah.... she'd find it pretty quick in there Don.. :016: p.s. i've got your scarf at the garage!
  7. Just got my scarf.... very nice, very nice indeed, to be worn once then hung in pride of place somewhere where the missus wont see it... :007:
  8. But this would have led to a very sticky situation would it not? we refuse to sell MN to bucharest because it a lower fee, we accept the Jerries fee because its the largest, MN says he will not go to Germany, comes back here in the huff! We had to accept that Marius wanted to go home, we then pull out the lower fee clause, which i'm sure is the board looking after ICT's interests, stuff Marius, he's not coming back, we need the dosh to buy a defender....
  9. That kind of deal would almost certainly have been written into a contract and not any kind of verbal agreement. Either way we look at it Marius is away, and its just about how much we get, but the big big question is will Brew get us a decent defender.
  10. Aye.. too much time sitting on yer erse in a hammock sipping beer... yer *** is growing mun :015:
  11. Just managed to cross one off my list, a visit to Sandwood bay/beach up in Cape Wrath, beautiful place and well worth the long walk to get to it!.
  12. This is very true, but when have the fans ever had a say in who the club sign? and dont forget, Brew has a good eye in spotting talent, he happens to think Rory has this in abundance! :023:

    Squad

There is always hope and miracles...
  14. Careful mano..................your positivity could be contagious Manonthemoon would is more than likely from dingwall, and on the wind-up.
  15. The penny feckin drops eh ? Dont matter a toss what mannie thinks, its whether Brewster has the brain cells to realise that Mcguire is pysh, and Hastings cannot play for us in the middle.
  16. Maybe Brewster being a forward player himself cant see things from a defensive perspective! but even my privet hedge noticed the poor defence last season, surely a wee light has gone off in his head to highlight this? Unfortunatley Brew has a penchant for putting players into unacustomed roles, and i can see this being continued this season in defence. :009:
  17. Yeah, sad to see him go, but it really was inevitable that he was going to be sold... on DS's orders no doubt. As Don says, hope you enjoyed it, cos' it will be a long time till we see another one.
  18. ' and took the lead from a corner into the box which we should have dealt with better ' I can forsee this comment being used frequently this season unless we strenghten the defence. Anyway, sounds like the guys did well today, i'm confident that we will do ok this season..
  19. and buy a replacement striker!! And while we're flush.... BUY A BETTER DEFENDER!!!
  20. Thats it, bring us back to earth eh...... Anyway according to the High News, Bennett is full of praise for Stoke in the way they have handled the Rooney issue, ' Who have allowed freed under 21 striker Rooney to join ICT in the Danish tour' Does this mean he has been freed by Stoke and they only need compensation because he's under 24?
  21. Aye?..... wow, are you pregnant?
  22. Errrrr... Elvis is dead.
  23. Why didnt you say Brewster? He was re-hired because those that matter at ICT thought he could do a job for us again, his time at Dee utd was a bad experience for him where he had a battle with overpaid ego swollen players. Now dont jump down my throat for backing Brew/Grassa/DS, i had reservations about his return, but looking at the bigger picture there were not very many available managers out there!
  24. Agreed... cant believe Brewster has taken this long to acknowledge the glaring holes in our defence.
  25. Pretty lacklustre stuff, not much entertainment for the few fans who turned up. ICT players again looked slow and struggled to string passes together, the worry is : 1. Mcguire did no bad, but how will he fare against SPL oppo. 2. Barrowman did no bad, but got no service to the feet at all.. this needs sorted. 3. Mikes position is safe. i'm assuming Esson is rusty, he looked a bit suspect on clearing the ball. 4. Rossco is definitely needing ball practice and how to kick it to our own players. good things: 1. Imrie looks quick and could be a good player for us this season. 2. Black will be a key player for us, he's looking good. 3. Barry came on and we looked dangerous on the right all of a sudden, up till then we were sloooooowwwwww. 4. Vigurs is improving game to game, he is going to be a good footballer. How you thought Russell had a good game is beyond me :017: :017: :017: :017: :017: :017: :017: he was so far of the pace it was an embarrassment at times, he is a new nick name ' pass back Dunc '.
