  1. Fair point...however it has one huge flaw. If it was that straight forward then why not simply be clear about it from the outset? I'll tell you why...because it would have caused an absolute uproar that the Board were giving away 12% of the club in order to secure the services of one player for 2 years....and the Board knew it, which is why they were happy to let people continue believing that Orion were paying (at least) part of his wages. No lies were told, but the club made sure it helped the assumption along and did nothing to set the story straight. Very plausible mun, waiting for the appearance of Mr Fraser now to see what he has to say, although DS will probably have primed him.
  2. Aye aye, the conspiracy theorists are flocking now, seems to me that we are getting up tight about not much here. CC looks to have wanted Marius, Orion and the board agree he could be signed, Orion buy shares to the value of his wages, If Marius is sold this will money back into the coffers. The only gamble was... would Marius produce the goods?
  3. Think he's had that for a while now Don.
  4. Fraser is an employee of ROC, Therefore the money is not his to spend, the only thing i can see coming out of this appointment is the possible sponsorship development of ICT. I suppose if ROC are as interested in local business development as they claim to be, we might see a few more ROC's about the stadium instead of the breakwater.
  5. ROC Scotland.. Ex Tullochs and a Football fan but no money. Not like Savage & Sutherland. So cant see him bringing any big investments i'm afraid :007:
  6. There's a shock...
  7. Dont know about that...he's always in his office before 8-30 am
  8. Some of the older crew might remember a guy in Inverness called Davie Dunnett, went out with a lass called........ Jane Newitt... Dave Dunnett and Jane Newitt.. :015: The missus tells me there was a chap who worked in Raigmore called Mr Hugh Janus.
  9. Then feck off to county ... moaning bassa.
  10. Fecks sake, we have ourselves a bad run of games so we are now tearing up the season tickets and promising not to come back... wake up and take a deep breath for gods sake.We have no right to expect ICT to be brilliant all season, we dont have the players capable of doing that. What we expect to see a bit of spirit and fight which is what we saw against Aberdeen, unfortunatley for us Russell deemed to think that the game did not require his presence in the second half. Lets face it the team is needing a bit a weeding, faces that dont perform cant be carried despite hero worship from the masses, new blood will be brought in for sure, i for one am totally behind the team.
  11. Know what you mean Gordy, but something had to account for his lack of pace and inability to jump against the like of Nicolson. Ian Black is in the squad for tomorrow.
  12. Seemingly Phil McGuire will be out of the team for the rest of the season after having an operation for a double hernia, goes a long way to explain his lack of form of late. Proctor for the place or maybe Watt will get a chance eh?
  13. That could be him/her...mind you, i think Scotty had shaved..
  14. As the poor lassie Forresdame will confirm, scared her out of the Innes bar.... probably never to be seen again.
  15. Well i was enjoying a quiet pint in the Innes after work when i did spy a well kent face.... feck me, it was Claudia Schiffer.... nah only jesting, that was only my imagination..... our webmaster himself has made an all too rare appearance in sneck from Toronto. Yes indeed Scotty has appeared in town so any of you newish posters wishing to meet the Venerable one of ICTonline ( he resembles a Budda) Scotty will be at the Innes before the game Saturday awaiting the purchase of Fosters to send in his direction.
  16. :rotflmao: That was a cracker...it really was. Put me down fer a place, Mannie too.
  17. His comments do seem to smack a wee bit of bullsh*it, trying to make everything sound rosy and positive, wish this club were a wee bit more transparent.
  18. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :015: Wait a minute...you are joking ? Mcguire is possibly the worst central defender i have seen in an ICT shirt.
  19. Tm4tj was attending his daughters wedding, being an old git with a good few years marriage under his belt he has got keeping his missus happy down to a fine art, usually being out of her site for long periods of time. :015:
  20. Wouldn't take a genius to work that out! It's Chester not Chelsea (reserves)! He should be looking at premiership reserve games/championship and their reserve games! Not a relegation fighting league TWO side! Brewster doesn't have a clue in the transfer market! If you think we can compete with the wages even Premiership reserves are on you need a reality check. The facts are the wages we pay compare with league 2 if yer lucky.
  21. That bit's true at least :023: Never mind what schoolboys would like.... I'd love to do some of the things they get up to, and its a few years sisnce i was a schoolboy. But thats the thing about Topgear its about doing the things with cars that ordinary people will never do, and if a car to you is only about A-B get a Lada and watch a different channel. What they have done, and done well is to target a wider audience for the show and by feck they did it well.
  22. Simply because its easy to chant ' Deano... Deano ' as in 'Keogh...Keogh', its sounds good whether or not the players is any good.
  23. So once again we have a change at the top with David 'yo yo' Sutherland back at the helm, have to say i didnt like Savage very much when i did meet him, and with Mr Sutherland having a wee bit more time on his hands we might see a steadying of HMS Sneck. Maybe Johndo was right all along that there were 'issues' within the higher echelons of the club.
  24. Better watch they dont think yer a rasta with all that hair mon' .... they might give ya a body search :015: Anyway any decent reggae bar there?
