To be honest Rory does not help himself very much in the effort department, would he endear himself more with the fans if he looked like tried harder? He certainly seems very static quite a lot of the time, i know you will say he's not a Bayne type player but he has the acceleration of a double decker bus with flat tyres.. time as they say, will tell.

Well.. everyone has an opinion, mine is that Rory has not got what it takes to be a success at this level. I may be proved wrong, i cant see what CC see's in him, but then i'm not a football manager just an ICT fan who likes to watch good football in Inverness.

Funnily enough.. a friend of a mate was at casualty a week ago... his name? Graham Bain, The nurse called out over the intercom for Graham Bain to come forward, and two guys arrived at the window... aye, the other was Graham Bayne. Dont know what he was there for but it might be connected... However the Rory factor may be getting closer :029: :029: :029:

This is true, would he also come here knowing he would have to fight for a place and not be an automatic starter? He lloked a good enough player the times i saw him last season. -

Nobody mentioned Don Cowie..? i thought he was very good, he certainly got about and sent in some excellent crosses. Rory i'm afraid was out of touch-again, even the Clach defenders got the better of him most of the time, Woods impressed me with his more direct play compared to the static Rory. Anyway, County next saturday and thats my pre-season.

Is he not a striker only? seems to have been playing there for most of his career anyway. I would imagine that the sums of money talked about there was the original asking fee, but with regards paying him more than other players, would Dargo if he stayed not have been on a much greater salery than everone else? if he can produce the goods and indeed get 15 or so goals then the win bonus will keep the other players happy.

Well... according to BBC news this morning Nico was back in the north for more talks, Bennett said however that they a long way from a deal, and there needs to be a clause in place in case from both parties in case things dont turn out.
