  1. Yep, have to agree with that, we played not bad vs Falkirk that night - nothing went our way. But the Midden game was a great disappointment, firstly a complete lack of passion in their play combined with very amateur defending from Dodds and co,( i can only hope that professional footballers getting called amateur hurts their pride a wee bit ) it it was me i'd be desperate to get out and prove them wrong.
  2. Some press reports have the Grocer promising to dip into his private weath to bolster the squad, and that Brewster is safe for this season....... :012: I seem to have heard this before.... and before..and before.
  3. 'Still feel at least one new face at the club on the playing side would also help just to improve competition.' A left back perhaps?

    Golly

Johnboy, dont talk crap! the manager picks the best team he can or as he sees the game play requires. He can talk tactics al night, but if any player goes out and performs poorly, its not totally the managers fault. We as fans who pay our hard earned money have the right to discuss on this forum players who we feel under achieved during the game - Golly being one. Golly himself knows he didnt produce the goods, and probably did enough to render him a reserve for the rest of the season. Hastings in my mind is a bit better and can link better going forward, only his final ball is gash, the LB position is one i have said for 2 seasons is a weak area in our team.
  5. If Rossco is fit and challenging Caff for full back, Proctor would not even be in the squad anyway, as we have loads of cover for midfield his only hope would be at full back. Black is different, but i would expect him to start the game,
  6. I wonder how our turnover compares to Scumdee Utd? wonder what profit they made last year?
  7. My old man used one years ago: Eettle ottle black bottle, eettle ottle out. Cant believe i've replied twice to this thread.... wheres the feckin football?
  8. 'My news came from Broughty Ferry ' Ah well, its bound to genuine then Sandy!
  9. It was always 'eenie meenie' but the words we used would not be appropriate now... What do kids use now... or have games consoles made choosing extinct?
  10. MBNA are not content with me using their credit card, they want me to start using their cheques as well!! twice a month i recieve a letter containing bumph and a sheet of cc cheques to use( which i rip up) talk about wasting trees... :008: ' People who never seem to have access to a car on match day ' :015: And when they do.... the feckin brakes dont work!
  11. Bit harsh Sandy.. what if they sign for another 2 years? make your post look silly eh? These things take a while, so be patient, they might announce something before the big kick off.
  12. Heard there will be an interview with the new chairman on north tonight.. tonight. Be interesting to what he has to say..... the Man Utd supporter.
  13. Lets not forget Russeldinho's super strike vs Falkirk at the end of the season!! gooooooaaaaalllll !! But to be honest most of the shots are shyte... as is most of the opposition-thank feck
  14. 'BTW, who was the owner of the Aston Martin DB9 parked one space along from the ICT managers parking space at yesterdays's game?' Maybe our new chairman, Mr John Savage? Looaaaaaadddds of Monnneeeeee
  15. If anyone see's a bloke in the Innes friday night, with a bag on his head, its thebag4thejob... sorry themann4thejob, having a wee problem with coldsores i hear. Feckin shame :016:
  16. Gerx, dont ever remember any mention of a restaurant at the La Scala, maybe some of the older posters might know. We were neighbours of Mr Nairn in Glenburn Drive, when we were kids we often got 'comp' tickets from him much to the envy of pals, we would fight to take his wee dog out for a walk in the woods, often 4 or 5 of us shared a lead which left Jim and his wife in hysterics. I also seem to remember him filming us playing 6 aside football in the park at Glenburn drive, wonder if that film still exists? My mate Colin Morrison served his time as a projectionist with the La Scala, he would sometmes sneak me in to the projection room to watch the movies, also helped him during the reel changes. Those were the days when smoking was permitted in the cinema, as the film went on the smoke highlighted in the light beams used to get thicker and thicker, passive smoking on a big scale or what.
  17. Mallister was playing eh.... still no goals... :007:
  18. We seemed to have been talking about Rory like this last season, now we are saying the same things all over again. Will he make it? in my mind... no, if he proves me wrong, fair enough but i cant see it. Quite a few posters have been suggesting signing an experienced centre forward, this after seeing Denzil and Rory perform recently, this might be a good idea.
  19. Looked a pretty strong team out to me... after seeing the Elgin game i'm not all that surprised as we were not that sharp then. Lets hope it is pre-season game syndrome.
  20. Oooooo, controversial choises Manny.... you on the vinegar?
  21. And be extra vigilant with the ladyboys... always ask for proof.
  22. I have been reported as looking 40 ish, much younger looking than my mate TMFTJ. :016:
  23. 'osteitis pubis' Sounds a painful thing, hope he recovers quickly, but with Caff we have good cover. Lackofusis pubis is another disease with affects males over the age of 45 who have been injured in some way in gyms, whilst pretending to females they are younger/fitter than they actually are.
  24. Pity we never saw the new strips, will we see them on show at Rossco's Testimonial ?
