  1. Used to drink lager now i prefer John Smiths.. thank feck the Innes has seen the light!
  2. Right thern c'mon... who's seen Daniel O'Donnell? no feckin lies now... Before you say it, i have'nt, but i was dragged to Waltzing Waters in Newtonmore once... :009:
  3. Denzil looked pretty good to me Colin, made some good runs, lots of off the ball runs, some nice touches and a couple of trademark stepovers to fool defenders. Needs a couple of first team games to get sharp, will be on the bench on Saturday. Still dont know the final score.
  4. Managed to get to see first half plus 15 or so mins of second. KO 2pm. Nutters present were me Guzz and Uncle Albert, with an appearance from Pete from westhill. and a fleeting visit from bronson after half time, who after sneezing over all, retired back to bed claiming a heavy cold prevented further attendance. Team: Fraser, Soane Duff Kerr Golly Sutherland Duncan Blackie Morgan Rory Denzil Bright start from both teams, Killie took the lead when A Weegie took a knockdown and shot past Fraser only to see his shot hit the bar, a n other headed the rebound past Fraser - who was not happy with Kerr for getting beat for the rebound. ICT drew level with a fine move down the right with Rory smacking the cross ball past the keeper, ICT were looking ok, but as were discussed it must be difficult for players to raise their game. We took the lead with another fine move starting with a long diagonal pass from Golly which Rory raced onto his early low centre to the far post saw Denzil and a defender meet, result - goal for Denzil... maybe aye or maybees naw. some say OG some say not. Anyway 2-1 HT, changes- Sweggie for Denzil and Hart for Blackie Second half saw ICT take control, Killie no7 got booked for another late tackle which was not a surprise as he was mouthing off quite a lot and generally being a ******. Sweggie, after a neat 1-2 with morgan had a blistering shot well saved by the keeper, as ICT took control. At this point yours truly had to retire back to the helm of HMS Galaxy. any who wishes to add the final bit to the report... Guzz? please continue.
  5. Jeez... you must have a big living room mun!
  6. Sergei Baltacha was a Russian Internationalist as well, tho' cant remember if he played for Caley-Thistle? did he not make a couple of appearances?
  7. Saw U2 in Glasgow, that was good, but the best for atmosphere was Jimmy Cliff in the Star club in Amsterdam, where the audience was a brill mix of Dammers and Rasta's, i mean best atmosphere by far, Jimmy Cliff is a legend, for any younger readers he was the guy that found and brought on Bob Marley. :icon_ganja:
  8. Check the time of post and smell the alcohol..... :011:
  9. Should'nt we just go and have a few South African beer's?
  10. Think Oats had a name for him... cant remember it though :006: Think it was the lack of goalmouth action that we witnessed, sadly i think that Dargs and Bayne dont hit it off, bring back Denzil.
  11. Try phoning Mike Smith.. i'm sure he's desperate for some postitive news.
  12. Its all very well coming out with loads of different idea's of how to increase our attendances ( which i commend by the way) but by far the biggest draw, is surely the performance of the team. Since last saturday the people i have spoken to about the game have all got one thing in common, yes, what a shyte game, poor performance etc etc, lucky to win. Lets face it ICT are having a poor run of home form, the team keep their best performances for away games for some strange perverse way, the base support that turns out now at TCS turns out in the hope of a good game rather than expecting a good game. So we have to question why the poor home form? CC has said last weeks win lifted the monkey off the back of ICT, we will just have to wait for the visit of Falkirk to see.
  13. Islands Hotel eh.... remember the wee hatch alright, not a bad pint either...when it arrived.
  14. Thought fer a sec. it might be Arnie...but a wee big bit too old... anyway i'm sure the funds of deeforlife can afford a love child.
  15. Yes but not a chance. He needs to go to Engerlund.
  16. He just needed the win bonus very much
  17. He played for Caledonian Thistle before ICT, not for Caledonian. Denzil is a living legend with ICT, you'd expect him to be a bigger fan favorite by being the clubs top scorer ever!... whats your log in name caller?
  18. 'Hastings has been our most consistent player this year. Solid in defence. Capable of a telling pass. Gives us an extra attacking option.' EH? i'll give you one out of the four...no more.
  19. 'I disagree that he is woeful when he does push forward and believe that he could do a job on the left wing, you just can't expect him to be doing the job of 2 players when his main priority is being a left back,' Rossco does this from right back...and scores goals..when did Dicky score last?
  20. 'Who gives a flyin feck if he is making lung busting runs up the wing or not, and who cares if his final cross is bad (I don't agree they are) as that is not his job, he is a left back ' 'I would be calling for Hastings to be given a shot on the left wing as (from what I have seen in the past) he does a better job on the left wing when he does push forward ' Make yer mind up.... :016: Our left midfield/attack has been poor since Golly lost form, this is fact. Dicky is an OK player, very average and gives his all, but in MY opinion we need a better Left back.
  21. Well its all about opinions aint it! 'More often than not he bombs up the left wing time after time only to be ignored for a pass inside or backwards Bombs up the wing? ha ha. he's ignored because he will give a pysh final ball or blooter the ball over the bar. I wont say any more other than he a pretty low SPL average player, if we have a desire to get into the top 6 we need better.
