  1. Flawless display today Brosno. Handled cleanly, distributed well, came for the ball when he had to,one seriously good decision to come and punch the ball in the 2nd half which no-one else appears to have seen. It has to be said we were looking very solid at the back today.
  2. Here we go again. Seems our defense is now catching the medias attention...............for the wrong reasons!! Tricky conditions...............come on guys...............I'll take a point
  3. Stunning response David.........................if I had a very long handled shovel. Come on guys!!!
  4. After some extensive research i can now give you an update on some of the characters you mentioned. Mr Coia was last heard of applying for a grant from Scottish Enterprise. His idea was a simple one. He wished to open a modest studio manufacturing hand-painted decorative macrame walruses made entirely out of the cranial nerve-ends of Dutch surrealist painters. Good luck to him. Mrs Coia had taken the cerebral route and has just won a national competition for making the most 5 letter words out of the phrase " Barnaby's Unkempt Gristle". Something in the high 800s won I believe. Mr Taylor/ITN/Yompa/etc. took up the invitation to attempt a world record for Hanging Upside down from a tree without Dribbling. He is still there...........day 56 , and is reportedly now 5' 8" !! Mini Coia is researching hereditary characteristics..........and is just hoping
  5. Lovely country, wondered where you were..................see ya at Falkirk
  6. I personally didn't go to Aberdeen to penetrate sheeo RIG..............nice suit by the way! What a night. 6 hrs driving for that!! agree Fraser at fault for 3rd AND 4th Long ball all night Thought Bayne was OK but Wyness did not work well with him............didn't read any knock downs and too lightweight/slow Our crossing was marginally better than last meeting with Dons............couldn't be worse....... So much possession ending up with Nil in final 3rd. We have massive problems at the back and, I think a bit of a problem up front too Aberdeen will not win many games playing like that................we had a big chance tonight and made a hash of it Good Night
  7. For entertaining both sets of fans pre-match on saturday at their wonderful Social Club...................Oh for a facility like that. Both sets of fans integrated well, the craic was spot on and their hospitality (coupled with a nae bad result) made a good day, one to remember Thanks to all
  8. I know what it says on this site and I know what i think. However Radio Scotland and Mantis think different WHAT DATE IS THIS GAME PLEASE!!!!
  9. With you on that one Richard. Ref did seem to favour Dons. However russell should learn from the rugby players that the ref is always right, won't change his mind and will eventually book you if you whinge too much. Also agree that the rampaging Roscoe looked out of control in the first half.........................inj fact there is a lot of consensus on this thread.....................nuff said On to next week
  10. you laughed Scotty-boy...................admit it!!!
  11. As long as there is no rice.................I am allergic...................Basmatic in fact!!!
  12. Yeah.............once a fan always a fan....................you'll be back. Come on down the waters lovely.
  13. You misunderstand me, Meeeeee. I am frequently misunderstood. Perhaps in your cave, high in the hills above some other hills you have become more bitter than most. A trip down to sea level may be rewarding..........who knows. However, I digress. My opening line was ....How can it be? I am as perplexed as the next person as to the reason for such a sudden turnaround....................I was looking for an insightful answer or two. The coming of Brew....the turnaround on the park..............COINCIDENCE?.........you be the judge! And Mee.............Stick some Nick Drake on the turntable...................he makes everything alright.
  14. How can it be? The same group of players under new stewardship turn up at Easter Road and start playing good, penetrative and exciting football. On to Parkhead and every fan I have spoken to was delighted with the way we took the game to the 'Tic creating numerous chances. Now ..............3 wins and 9 goals in a week! With the same players and a "new" face at the helm. What is this X factor? Cowie has been a revelation. Charlie must get the credit for that. Marius is a player................he was always going to take a bit of time to slot in. Roy to left back has been the only significant change. Is Brewster that talismatic? Has he "turned the dressing room round"? ( I hope not because the players will now run out and into the Firth!!!!!). Was there significant unrest internally pre-Brewster? Has it all now been smoothed over? Or is there a messianic figure amongst us? Will loaves and fishes replace macarone pies at the 45? And, what of Charlie. An ICT legend.Has he a defined role within? Or is he cast into the desert? One thing is for sure. In this kind of form, with confidence running high.....there will be a few Goliaths quaking in there sandals at the prospect of meeting Brew's men.
  15. RIG is right. There were many people calling for his head after the falkirk "kicking the ball away.......twice!" incident. I was among those who genuinely thought that he had played his last game for the club. An uncontrollable laddie. Well, let me join the growing band of word-eaters and sing the praises of a reformed character. Charlie surely must get some credit for this also. I would also have thought that, as we are seemingly prepared to spend a lot of money importing a foreign international player, we must surely find the money to hold on to a possible future Scotland star should the vultures start circling.
  16. I haven'y had time to read all the reports and comments about yesterdays match but I feel that a certain point MUST be made. There is a thread on here re Michael Fraser..........should he be playing. Well, in my view yesterdays superb victory was in no small part due to his excellent handling. He took numerous low and high balls completely cleanly. Should he have spilled any one of these the result could have been different. Totally reliable, inspirational to his back 4,and a candidate for the MOM in my opinion. We were superb all round but performances like Michaels regularly get glossed over. His job is not a glamorous one and rarely receives plaudits. However one mistake and these guys are castigated. Well done everyone....................and especially Mike!
  17. A thoroughly enjoyable ICT performance..................strange to say. we do not have a partnership upfront. I thought we were crying out for Brew today alongside Denzil who was great. In fact top marks to all. Celtic were too strong and classy. We will garner plenty points playing like that every week. Well done lads Scotty......................I remember the 6-0 also...........were you not jet-lagged that day?
  18. Paramedic on standby...................over Happy B'day................over and out
  19. Too late....................I retired hurt before the masterstroke Enjoyed the game though
  20. Spotted my deliberate mistake my multi-trousered friend. Roomaneiah it is!
  21. Whats Latin about Rumania? Discuss Good debut from where I was sitting..............just to the left of Johndo's trousers if you are watching on telly. Worked hard, good touch, very aware and obviously with a good brain. Played one ball across the 6 yard box which deserved to be turned in. One worry was that it seemed to me it was his decision to stay on when well passed it. I'm sure I saw him communicating with the bench and saying he was OK .......not your decision boy!! A bigger problem seems to be who to play him with. My feeling is Denzil.............please can he get some goals soon........he needs cheering up! Deano is a big worry for me........he doesn't look up to it
