  1. I was certain it was a penalty but Chibber on my left thought it was a dive, and my brother on my right, wasn't sure. This means that the ref is either inept, wise or rash. If we had won the penalty (and scored), we would have gone on to win. Our team is one that gets fried up with a bit of belief and passion.............
  2. All that has been done here is a player, with a considerable ego, whom has been frozen out, has been moved on. Another player, who will always play as best as he can, no matter what his thoughts are on his status within the squad, has been brought in as cover. We have also saved ourselves a wage. Seems like good business. I know some fans were expecting Wayne bridge because Zadi made a mistake but because Butcher is away, and doesn't have a mobile phone, it couldn't be arranged.
  3. Your right. He was at fault, but the booing was totally cringe worthy. A lot of the booing was coming from behind us in the legendary, feared by every visiting player and supporter, too hardcore for the normal section, Caley 'til I die, was there when we won the league, I've got greasy spots and greasy blonde streaks section. Why is it, you all reach the exact same conclusion about every player? Does one of you not have the cubes to tell your mates to shut up when booing our own players? You can't ALL agree with it.......
  4. When we win away at Dingwall, I hope none of the boo boys and Zadi haters are there to enjoy it.
  5. IHE will just tell you it's all the boards fault. Muppets, or something like that.........
  6. I know, chill pills need to be dished out at the end of each loss.
  7. you seem to be defending him quite a bit!! Would he be in your starting 11? Without hesitation. Why is that then? You trying to tell me your happy when he does all these stupid tricks in his own half putting our defence in serious danger?!! EVERY GAME!!! He does not try tricks. He lacks the confidence to make a quick decision (hesitation I think they call this) and ends up backing himself into a corner. He then just tries anything to get the hot potato/football away from him.
  8. I don't care how bad he was. I'll be blunt that was one of the worst performances I've ever seen by a player in an ICT shirt. But you ever boo one if your own players. Never ever. There's is no right reason to boo your own player, you just should never do it. Oh no, whats happened to me? I thought this day would never, ever come but, I find myself totally agreeing with renegade. Lionel comes across as a hard working, friendlier version of Tokley, but with confidence issues. Why doesn't everyone try and help him to the top of his game by getting behind him (insert Graham Norton style innuendo here)? Booing him whilst he still has an influence over the game is an illogical action. Do these people think that Terry Butcher, a former international captain, and grown up adult, will select his team based on the booing of boozed up half wits, and crater faced children? Accept it, Lionel is a Caley player, and will be, at the very least, a Caley player up until Christmas, but more than likely for the next season. Get behind him! If you really feel that ICT are nothing more than a business, and you as a paying customer expect nothing but value for money, then don't come. Your 14 pounds (dam macs, the pound sign won't work) will get you much, much more value at cine world or Eden court theater than you will ever get at Caley park. You could also do what an alarming amount of people did, and get the car warmed up and beat the crowds home. Always been jealous of those folk, eating their dinner before I've even left the stadium........
  9. I've tried this approach but, no matter where you sit, there's whingers all around you. As chibber said yesterday, it's almost as if people just come here for something to do on a Saturday. So true.
  10. It all felt like a waste of time yesterday, didn't it? I don't like the way some of the fans get on the back of our players but, by the end, the team became indefensible.......... Utter pish but, it was the same team that played well against dundee so, i'm putting it down to a really, really bad day at the office.......
  11. Do what? :003: Goalkeeper for for outfield player. i think......
  12. Brilliant game today. Kerr was ****. Lionel is going to be the new Roscoe at this rate. The stadium announcer defo said that Allison was subbed on at the end but, i'm sure you cant do that. Dundee are nothing to worry about. We are the best team in this division.
  13. I'm a non smoker but I agree there should be a smoking area. What about the away end? Do you mind if they breathe in your secondhand smoke?
  14. Exclamation marks are actually punctuation. So are apostrophes - like the one you've missed out of "it's". Then of course there's spelling... where common errors include writing "grammer" instead of "grammar". To easy....
  15. When I go throught to east end park, I would really appreciate it if you were there playing for us.
  16. Bass player is the good looking lad with undeniable rock 'n' roll status. We clash with some bigger acts (bigger than us, can you believe it?) so I don't even expect our 'bestest' buds to turn up but, if it's raining, then it will be an empty tent to go to. With wrist slashing music to accompany you.
  17. He's a football player, and we've signed him so I'm happy.
  18. Renegade is quite funny sometimes although, there is an actual point being made here. Looking into foreign markets is not as easy as it sounds because clubs like Ajax, PSV, Young Boys, Real, Barca,.....etc have a good record of picking up unknown South American and African players so must have a good scouting system already in place. Anyone of slight talent will be picked up by the clubs that are proven at playing and improving these players. ICT would struggle to find a player in these teritories that the bigger clubs were not already aware of..... Ajax Kanu PSV Romario Young Boys Sonny anderson Real Eto Barca Messi and whilst we would be looking players of maybe about 10% of this talent, the scouts of the big clubs will pass the deatils of the weaker players onto smaller clubs in thier own contries so, we wouldn't get a look in at the decent players.
  19. Anyone heading to the Rockness festival this weekend, if you at a loose end at 10 o'clock on Saturday, then head along to the Go North stage and check out Call To Mind.......
  20. Calder Roscoe Mann Christie Black Stewart Manager : Pele
  21. Did Scott Mclean go to Partick? Also, you must have played at the same time as me. :D I wonder which one you are then? Could you even be beside me? :024: Beside you? I only ever got to under 16/18 level 8 or 9 years ago.
  22. How does negative, or positive feedback get to the club or players? Do they actually read this? The comments made on this board can't possibly play on the minds of anyone at the club. I find that so hard to believe. I trust your getting at IHE but he's just saying what he thinks, as is everyone else. If you go to every game or just listen on the radio, your allowed to come on here and give your opinions all the same so no-one should be deciding why one person opinion is more valued than another. The board employed the man that is regarded as being the man that relegated us, there should be an explanation. Yes, we are debt free but, we are in division 1, and at the risk of losing quite a few of our players. Although we spent five years in the SPL, we should be starting our sixth. Maybe if the fans had been listened to, and Brew was not brought back, we would still be there. We were set up to stay SPL for the forseable future, but that solid squad was ripped up over the last two years. Also, I thought user names were just a bit of fun, I can't see any reason for people to have to hide. Although, if I get a visit form Dougie Imrie now, i'll know why. Andrew Masson
