Clach in administration
I used to think the widespread use of mobile phone text messages was having a detrimental effect on the English language, and general spelling standards. Apparently it's not - in fact the converse is probably true. See here.... It's offishyal I saw that today. What a heap of ****. Its the same as saying that the majority of british children do not get support they need by parents. Rubbish. Kids are spoilt and get far too much. Be being one of them and i admit i get more than i should, though no way near as much as some people i know. These reports are a pile of rubbish...... Don't let Clach go down!

Ooops! what do the asterisks say...I don't read asterisks..comes with being a pensioner, I do better with decent English. Just how much more pathetic is it than Ross County......given that ICT has two of their squad in the Scotland under 16's as of now? How many Ross County players have been called up to play for their country lately? So Scotland scouts think those specific players are good enough to be called up..but you know different. Out of interest, how many Ross County u-19 players have had a decent run in the first team? If you have a friend playing for ICT who thinks it is crap...why has he not managed to find himself another better youth squad? I was under the impression that ICT resigns youth players from year to year...so all he has to do is refuse to resign if it is that bad, and tout his skills among other teams. If you have written to ICT regarding their youth policy, more power to your elbow..if you phrased it better than this post. However you have singularly failed to show where the youth setup at ICT is markedly different to that at Ross County, bar the fact that ICT has dropped their under 19 squad..and I have already said that I felt that that was a big mistake......and something which will eventually come back and bite them on the bum. Well Ross County actually have a number of youngsters that get on the bench regulary. Same as in our case. But Ross County have a built up a better team than us now anyway! Well put it this way, Ross County under 17's played Inverness 17's 4 times last season. They won 3 times and drew once. Also, Ross Grant, a boy from Tain who plays for County, was Captain for Scotland Under 16s a season or two ago. He also has played for the 19's a few times.

Can you explain to me how they can show how good they are (regardless of whether you are talking about the current ex U-19s or the current Scotland U-16 players and any other decent players in the youth system) if ICT is not prepared to give them a chance..........and a chance is not sitting on the bench and getting on for the last few minutes of a game already won. The Hamilton system would be just as crap as you think the the ICT one is, if directors/management were not prepared to take a chance and accept the consequences. ICT is not prepared to take that chance because they fear the consequences. There is nothing wrong with the ICT youth system, as far as it goes....there is, however a problem with the attitude of the ICT hierarchy towards their youth system...as evidenced by the removal of the under 19 tier, which is the one which holds onto the best of those trained at cost to ICT over the years. Out of interest, just how do you know that the ICT youth set-up doesn't even look across all the Highlands? How could you know, as there is minimal information given about the youth setup on ICT's website compared to other teams within the system, such as Ross County? (is this not going off topic a shade? maybe worth a thread of its own) Don't start all you're ***** with me. I have written letters to ICT many times and i have had letters telling me where they scout in the Highlands. And the ICT youth set up is pathetic. Ross County are far superior in this feild. And i didnt say they were **** players did i? Idiot. I said they havn't shown it so we can't say for sure if they are that good or not. A boy in the year below me plays for ICT under 17's and told me that compaired to Ross County, ICT are pathetic youth wise.

Yes, they are good young players, but they havn't really shown how good they are have they? Problem for me is that Hamilton are using a good youth set up to good wee players. But we are causing ourselves problems by having a ***** youth set up and one that doesn't even look across all the highlands!
-
James McCarthy
The annoying thing for me is than we don't get anything near the young players that Hamilton have had the past few seasons. Easton, McCarthy, McCarthur ect.
-
James McCarthy
This wee boy is fantastic. Everyone knew it when he played in Scotland, but to go down to the EPL and still play great at 19 is something special. He was far too good for the SPL and he will go on to even bigger things. Now if Hamilton can get guys like him. Why can't we?

Robson Moving On
Caldwell had one decent season. He only looked so stand out last season was because the rest of the team was so ****.

Duff Gone
I thought he was solid. Would have liked to see him stay though it wasn't to be.

Robson Moving On
As someone said, Killen did well when given the chance. I liked Robson and was a good player for Celtic but they have more than adiquate cover if not better. ZZ=Chinese guy, The New Korean guy, McGinn and Maloney are all good players that can play opposite wing to McGeady. It certainly reads like you think the board's "contractual retardedness" is at fault for us not getting a cut of the deal ! Perhaps you should be "staggered" that we got anything when he went from Dundee Utd to Celtic given this "retardedness". There are many things we can slag the club, board or major shareholders about, this is not one of them Well said!

Jefferies gone
I think Jeffries is a fantastic manager tbh. What he did at Kilmarnock was brilliant. Not many managers could work for 8 years with a working mans budget in a football club and a Chairman who is a tit. He done a great job and deserves all the plaudits he can get. Would love to see him at ICT.

Robson Moving On
Why are you saying it's the boards fault that we didn't get any money from this transfer? You cannot get money from the 2nd transfer. Silly. Its not up to Celtic to pay us because he played for us a while back. It was all in the Dundee United deal.

Boyd for Scotland
That your a closet Celtic fan? :P Seriously, I dont think your a Celtic fan. Though surely a Rangers fan would avoid using the word hun also? I just happen to rate Boyd fairly highly (in terms of Scottish players) and would welcome him back, providing he backed up his inclusion and kept schtoom. If he isn't selected for whatever reason ask his coach, not complain and take a huff. Im all for 2nd chances, providing the person learns his lesson and takes that chance. Everone seems to have forgotten the O'Conner incident and the fact he left it until another manager came in before even apologising, or the fact Weir quit under Berti Vogts. But since then both have looked to press on. Because it is in the past. Ps to say Larsson went on to prove himself is a touch incorrect. He was already a regular in the Sweden squad before Celtic and had a starring role in Swedens 3rd place play-off victory thrashing of Bulgaria in the 1994 world cup. Petty I know. Yes but he still had to prove himself at that level didn't he? I wasn't just referring to his days at Celtic. I was saying that in Larsson's Career, he managed to prove himself at THE highest level. Boyd hasn't.

As u wish: Duuuuuuuuuuffffff yeah duff is on fire... and so on :tonguecheek: Was thinking more of 'the view, the view, the view are on fire' tune and not 'this sex is on fire.' Whoops Fail!

Boyd for Scotland
Fair enough, personally, i do not rate Boyd and will not till he proves himself at a higher level. Like Larsson did.

TCS Pitch
I think you're right, but now we have Hayes, and if we could get Imre playing well again then we would do well. Two good wingers using the space availible.
-
TCS Pitch
I dunno but Brora Rangers have one of the biggest pitches in Scotland.

It became a labour party paper round about the time that arch tory, Tony Bliar became party leader.... It withdrew it's support for labour shotly after Brown became leader. Aye, it comes down to which party is fitting Merdochs agenda.

Boyd for Scotland
:029: :022: Are you being completely ignorant? We are agreeing he can score in the SPL, but its not that fecking hard. He has never proved himself when given the chance at a higher level. And he has had chances. Believe it or not, if Boyd had not scored those 5 against an atrocious Dundee United side, then he and Scott McDonald would be near level on goals. Thats not including McDonalds goal against Moscow. But take into consideration McDonald has scored against Rangers this term. I would think McDonald has been the better all round striker. He has scored more goals per chances taken so far this season and he has scored more against bigger teams. Oh and the last bit is a bit silly, as a lot of Celtic fans are Irish. But Celtic have an Irish Heratige. Going to complain that Rangers fans fly the Union Jack? As they only do it as a "Get it up ya" to Celtic.

My granny Hated it when i ever got the Sun or the Record. Both she said where Tory papers. Both, according to her, supported Thatcher and not the Coal miners during the strikes. Things like that.

Boyd for Scotland
Lesser opposition than Scotland, where did you get that from? :021: I mean lesser teams in general. Ones we should beat at home and could beat away. Iceland, Georgia, Lithuania, Macedonia And I would fancy us to beat better teams with the right team and coach in charge. Even though I didnt say it, yes there are lesser teams than Scotland. Just not as many as there perhaps should be or needs to be to enable us to qualify for a tournament. Firstly, i think we are probably level with Macedonia. They are a decent team. But if we are failing to beat Georgia and Iceland without Boyd, then the problem is far beyond him. Its bigger than him. And stop going on about Healy! FFS! His goalscoring might not be as good, but i think hes a better all round player.
