New Falkirk Boss
Steven Pressley has been named new Falkirk Boss, less than 24 hours after Eddie Mays departure. From BBC Sport... he 36-year-old former Hearts skipper takes over with the Bairns three points adrift at the foot of the table. "Make no mistake about it, Falkirk will stay in the Premier League," said Pressley, who also played for Rangers, Celtic and Dundee United. "I wouldn't be taking this job if I didn't think I could keep us up." Pressley will be assisted by veteran former Aberdeen and St Mirren boss Alex Smith, who had been director of football under May. Chairman Martin Ritchie said: "Eddie May has served this club extremely well for the last six years. In his role as academy director he has played a key role in transforming the club's youth system and developing our football infrastructure. "He took on a very difficult and challenging task in the summer, leaving a secure position, and unfortunately that has not quite worked as we would all have hoped. "I am sure that Eddie will go on to continue his career elsewhere in football and do extremely well." May succeeded Hughes last June, with Pressley his assistant and Alex Smith as director of football. But the Bairns lost 1-0 at home to Kilmarnock on Wednesday and May has ended his near 11-year association with the club. "I just felt that at this moment in time the football club might benefit from someone else taking the reins," May told BBC Scotland. "I had four-and-a-half good years as a player here and really enjoyed my time. "Helping set up a very good academy and helping young guys progress. I was the first Falkirk manager to play in Europe and win. "Results over the course haven't been ideal. There've been restrictions at the football club, which have made it very difficult. "It's not easy in the current climate to then go and try to do the right things. "I had to look deep within and see what's best for Eddie May and for the football club. "I've had a fantastic near 11 years here and really enjoyed it and go with a lot of happy memories." May had been on the coaching staff for five years and was credited with a major role in the development of first-team players such as captain Darren Barr, Thomas Scobbie and Scott Arfield. At the time of his appointment, May said he was relishing the prospect of "moving up to the next level". But his debut season in the Falkirk dugout proved difficult, with the Bairns losing 15 of their 27 games in all competitions, winning four and drawing eight. Thoughts?

Jim Baxter - sitting on the ball
Watching The Football Years a few weeks back, nothing was said about him sitting on the ball but footage of him doing keepy-ups for the crack was shown. Some of the guys were saying that they were raging at him as they wanted to score more goals!

Barrowman
I cannot wait for County away even more now. He will be getting pelters.

Fan Dies
A man hurt at the Stoke game yesterday has died from his head injury.

Transfers?
Is he still at Celtic? And yes what a signing, but will eh get in ahead of Higgins? Yeah, he has at loan to Swansea or something like that. Good signing for Dundee. Bad one for us though. They have some strike force.

Transfers?
Robbie Keane to Celtic...Not something i expected at the start of the day!

What on Earth?
I really would have liked to have heard what you heard. When the goal went in I had a goal at the midfield for not closing him down but certainly not at Esson, this man has saved us some many times this season and I reckon has saved us between 6-10 points single handedly. I was about three or four seats in and I didn't hear anything so anything you heard certainly didn't come from us so go and wind your neck in. As for the Imrie situation and has been repeatedly mentioned that it was only a couple of 'boys' who started abusing Dougie and was blowing well out of proportion but I suppose for some people on here their weekend on here wouldn't be complete without a moan about something. I hope that some of you can remember that Cox overhit a pass to Sanchez today so if you can moan about that for a wee while that would be greatly appreciated. Most the shouts consisted of "What the **** Esson?", "Thats a ******* Easy one" or "Thats ******* Shocking Esson" Others were shouted also.

Sanchez
And his one against Airdrie. not to mention his passing He's the most creative passer in the current team, no question. He did misplace one or two passes against Airdrie, but that's excusable as he was always trying to look for ways to open up the opposition. He has missed a few sitters in front of goal recently, but goalscoring is not his primary role in the team - providing opportunities for goalscorers is. Unless we find someone with better vision who can play behind Rooney, he should stay in the team. Agreed. Though i do not think we will find many players more creative. Spanish players usually are the most creative. He is probably my fave ICT player tbh.

Togo BANNED
Shocking. Where is the compassion? Absolute Joke. If i was Togo, i would refuse to play in it ever again for this.

What on Earth?
Yeah i wasn't on about you're one. Just some of the shouting at him during the game Section g lot again was it? Some of them were at it aye, but i was standing at the end of the section today (Sitting/ Standing in the stand it would be you're right hand side) and many of the people to my right were shouting.

What on Earth?
I am ashamed of some of our fans today. Shouting at Esson? Are you crazy? He has kept us in many-a-game this season. He is a great keeper. The ball swerved and i for one thought it was going wide at first. How do you know he couldn't see it till the last minute either? Get off his back. Those who shouted at him just belamed the simple option. The truth is, the midfeild should not have given their players the space to shoot. The scorer had so much room he could have took a few touches before he shot. I was dissapointed by the reaction of the fans to the goal.

Sanchez
And his one against Airdrie. not to mention his passing Firstly, scoring goals is very overrated by fans in football. Missing chances is a big thing, but when you are the type of player he is, it isn't that big. Stop taking it over the limits. Secondly...His passing is good. Away and watch the game again.

Delighted! It was a good game. And im sure if it wasn't so cold i would say it was fantastic. Had some great stuff in it. Tuffy made some excellent saves though his goal kicks were poor. Great display again from Hayes. Thought the whole team played really well. Lionel was a bit scary as per usuall but thankfully he didn't cost us.
