Post-match thoughts
Haven't had much time to digest yet bout today but we all get involved on here for our team, October was great, November not so good points wise, theres lots to be debated and the rest...Hearts next what if we lose that....***** November? But we still got our team lets be positive for next weekend....The highs & lows of footy!

Pre-match thoughts
Read this, stand back for a few minutes and give a honest answer, Does anyone think we can get 3 points tomorrow. We've not done to good with points so far in November, but it would not surprise me to see us get a point tomorrow, if we did manage 3 this month would all of a sudden take on a different perspective. Thats football. Im hoping keeping everything crossed...... :016: Macca

Mark Brown
I feel it essential that we tie MB down you cant underestimate the importance of a good keeper, they don't make many headlines but they are as important as a proven goal scorer.

Please Wear A Poppy..
I find the subject very interesting, and probably as with most people have links to it through relatives, my grandad was a member of the Highland Light Infantry he arrived in France a few days after D-Day and was promptly shot in the foot which forced his evacuation back to Britain, my other grandad took part in D_Day as part of the Royal Air Force. Of course i suppose this sounds abit cheesey now(its often rattled out but never the less true) but if it were not for the efforts made in WW2 we may now not be free to comment on this forum about our footy team or anything else that we now take for granted.

Charles was the book you read pegasus bridge D-Day; The Daring British Airbourne Raid By Stephen E. Ambrose? Its a great read especially if youve been to the Bridge and surrounding area, i personally had the feeling whilst there that you could almost be part of the event, dont know how to put it except that if it was a video you could rewind it and watch it again. Hibs vs ICT
Agree there Scotty missed the first 15 mins or so of first half, the commentators have said its a banker draw, but lets hope we can sneak it....be a tonic with Celtic & Hearts to come. Macca

Hibs vs ICT
Sounds on the radio like a dull first half, hard working display from ICT and a great double save from Hibs Malkowski from dargo/bayne stopping us going in 1 up....something to build on hopefully.

ICT V Aberdeen - matchday thread
Good post IHE. thought though that the Dargo, Mcbain, Bayne goal was pretty good, could have a point bout a new Dods thought, beside letting Dons get the ball in to the box Dods and Tokely left a lot to be desired with there marking defending for the goal.

Maimie Well done for bringing this subject to our attention, a few years ago me Mrs Dmacca and the kids camped in Martragny near Bayeax, we visited the beeches and the cemetries museums Pegasus Bridge ETC, i would defy anyone to stand in some of those places and not feel pride for what those guys did for us some not much older than school kids, the other feeling was of immence sadness at the slaughter of so many, i have to say on both sides. Now i dont want to start a whole new debate that has no place on this forum but you look at Great Britain as a whole today and IMHO i wonder what those guys would think of this island that they gave their lives for..... Me and my kids will have Poppies(and not white ones either) Macca

Black Back?
Think we could do the job with out him going on Monday nights form, though agree with earlier comments that he is the sort of player that can give you the edge which i think his temperament shows, with the higher profile games this month though could be a problem for him and a disadvantage for the team.

Typical football scenario
Well guys & gals here we are again another Saturday looms large with a difficult fixture at Hibees, its typical of football, and i suppose thats what makes it such a popular game that in the space of 10 minutes or so on Monday night we came away with 1 point that looked highly likely to be 3( thats the fine line between winning & drawing/losing) and a great set up to a hard month of footy, which now makes tomorrows outcome a lot more important, a win tomorrow would i believe have a hugh impact on the next 2 games. If we lose tomorrow I honestly think we will be lucky to get much out of November, if we win tomorrow i get the feeling we will not get beaten by Hearts and who knows what might happen in Glasgow? looking at Novembers fixtures i will be really happy with 3 draws and a win to keep the unbeaten run going, 2 draws a win and a loss would not be the end of the world though, and if we happen to turn Hearts over well thats even better. Com'mon lets do it!!!

OFFICIAL SCOTLAND B SQUAD
Good to see Mark brown getting a bit of recognition, at least we got a representative all be it in the B's, im sure he could step up to the A team, i see also that Rankin got in the Setanta October SPL team of the month.

Fourth (West) Stand
To get this 4th stand would probably help with the atmosphere(by containing the noise) even if it was not necessarily full to the brim with crowd, i suppose its not really a top priority but it would obviously enhance the ground.

ICT V Aberdeen - matchday thread
Kept the unbeaten run going, quality goal, shame bout last 5 minutes, so near yet so far. Thought Barry Wilson did well ICT MOM for me especially if he'd have finished his run into box off with goal.

ICT V Aberdeen - matchday thread
Lack of quality in the final third both teams, Dargo's chance would have been a classic had it crept in.

Youth football
Morning all cold morning down here today, doing the usual Sunday morning routine though, my lad plays for St Valliers under 10's, in the Hanham Minor league Bristol, today playing Yate Rangers, my role in all this is assistant. Anyone else out there involved with youth footy, play manage or just support your sons/daughters? Its a good release from proffessional footy its good to watch keen youngsters who only play football for the love of it (ie not big bucks)

2nd on Monday night ?
Think positive thoughts, the rest will take care of itself...... Monday night 2-1 ICT.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE
Great news for CC and everybody concerned with the club, now the hard bit starts were up there to be shot down, manager of the month usually coincides with a poor result, what with that and the fact that Aberdeen are comming to town on Monday will be really interesting. What a fantastic achievement it will be to get the 3 points, set us up well for November.
-
CC Manager of the Month??
If i were on the panel id take into context the fact that youd expect Celtic to win every time even at Ibrox on current form, you would not expect ICT to beat Rangers at Ibrox and probably not at the TCS, gotta be ICT for me.

would you attend friday night games?
Id attend any day or night of week if i lived closer, friday night games got there advantages down here in Bristol cause theres a very big amateur football scene on a saturday that deffo reduces crowds, cant beat that saturday feeling for watching football though. Macca
