Dunfermline are a far bigger club than us right now. They even have 3 times as many fans as us at home games currently. We just can’t compete with that unfortunately.

I think this is a great post. We might be in great form and that could continue, but we would be expecting a lot of teams to just fall apart. I think we need to concentrate on just catching what’s in front of us. I would take 8th this season. Anything higher will be a very pleasant surprise after what we have went through.

On Adam Brooks, he might not have had a decent run in the team by starting but he did play a fair amount to be judged. I think he got a bit of unjust stick on here from a few if I recall correctly. Although could have just been banter of course.

He signed Samuel, Pepple Ferguson and Sheridan when we already had McKay, Brooks, Lodovica, Cairns and Samuels. We probably did need 9 strikers though.

Under Ferguson I’m sure he had won 4 of his first 8 as well. In fact he won the November manager of the month as well. I wonder where we sit in this league in terms of budget compared to the rest of the league.

A little closer to home - Brewster was a great ‘player’ manager.

I’m not a fan of these clubs floating around using whatever stadium they can get their hands on. Sadly that seems to be the way for them these days. They were fairly secure for a good while in Cumbernauld and were a real force in our promotion season back in 2004. A sliding doors moment I always felt.

We can’t be changing anything pre cup final as that is the pinnacle. It did start to go wrong straight after this though. Even going into the next games v Astra it already started to feel like we were missing a lot. It’s a tough question to answer but I think Yngwie is spot on when saying it would only delay the inevitable. It doesn’t matter where we tweek our history, we were always going to end up back down the leagues. I don’t think anyone ever thought it would be this fast though. Relegation from the Premier was always going to happen eventually, however being reckless with our finances in the Championship was very much avoidable and therefore unforgivable.

Unsure if this was posted earlier or not but came across this and thought it was a good listen. Nothing new is discovered in this but still good for an extended run through our current history so far. I do know a video was posted earlier that I didn’t get round to watching so apologies if it’s the same one.

Decent effort from Kelty that 👏 I watched my local team Renfrew play Kelty in the Junior Cup a few seasons back. Never did I think they’d outshine us on stuff like this. This is an away game for them as well.

Along with the others I don’t think he’ll be missed too much on footballing merit. He couldn’t do it in the championship and he couldn’t do it in league 1 either. The amount of moans I’ve been hearing this past year and a half about needing better strikers in also proves this point. He wasn’t signed up for league two with us next season which might have been his level?

What game was that?

Yeah I think that tells us the story of how this season will pan out. A rebuild needed for next season in League Two.

Yeah one thing I didn’t quite read from him was if he was having a go at Ross Morrison for making a unturn, or if it was because we didn’t back the Kelty plan.

I feel like Dunc is finding it hard to hold back his laughter in this interview.

Just a wee joke, I don’t know much about Scott to be honest but this moment always springs to mind. I wish him well and will back him just like any other manager 😉
