  1. I think the whole idea of this thread was to lift the spirits of Nick if he was to play on saturday, not to say he doesn't deserve his place.
  2. This poll is to decide who's the most important player ICT have. I find it a hard one to decide as someone said earlier if we lost Esson then we'd be playing an inexperienced keeper and that could be costly so Esson has got to be a contender. The most important players are the players we need playing every week and i'd say Hayes, Rooney and Foran are in that field. If any of those out and we'll have trouble replacing them with someone who can bring the same to the team. This season Hayes has been my favourite to watch so i'm choosing him.
  3. I wouldn't be any more annoyed if County were promoted than if Dunfermline were promoted or normally even Dundee but i really hope if anyone goes up that isn't us then it has to be Dundee. If they stay in the first division for another season then they'll just spend money buying even more players to win it next year. This will make it a lot harder for us to compete and they may even steal a couple of our players in the process.
  4. This is going to be the toughest game of the season. I would even say Dundee on the last day at home is more winnable. Hopefully we can pick up AT LEAST a point but we really do need all 3.

If we manage to claw Dundee back to 3 points (which is what i'm counting on) Then we should have the better goal difference. Just by winning the extra game than them. What we don't need is for them to score bucketloads against Ayr tomorrow night. I've never once actually considered winning the league by points and that goal difference would be sufficient.

I just done some fact finding and going by Dundee's next 10 games (the run in to the last game against us) They won 20 points out of a possible 30. They were the form team through these results so hopefully now they will struggle to match that record. This would then allow us 2 losses and a draw. In ICT's last 11 matches remaining they gained a total of 17 points last time around, whereas Dundee gained 21. This time around ICT have already played game number 11 and beat Queens so have started with 3 more points than they had last time. Dundee have Ayr tomorrow night and last time they played at Somerset it was a draw.

If we lost against County or any other team for that matter we would then need Dundee to lose 3 matches in their final 11 games. I think this maybe a little too much to be honest.

A draw and a win may be enough, but as soon as we play the draw card we need to WIN every other game until the end of the season. Dundee will slip up but its how many times they will, If they were to draw and lose then that would be enough for us to allow for a draw ourselves and this is a high possibility.
  9. This is some kind of conspiracy to keep Rooney from winning the title....
  10. I like this line-up.... Has Cox got a twin brother? :004: I just noticed my mistake when reading other posts there. Line up has been fixed... Duncan in for Cox's twin brother
  11. Why is most people trying to stay with Butchers back 4? What has Bulvitis done that is so bad he gets dropped to play Tokely in the center? We should be playing.... Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Golabek Proctor Cox Hayes Cox Sanchez Rooney
  12. FT at Inverness 1-0 I'll take it, I'll take another 10 of those is well....
  13. Yas, Dundee 2-1 down now....
  14. Finally, was starting to get scared we'd blow it for a while there. Pressures on Dundee now!
  15. There is absolutely nothing happening at the ICT game, no shots on target for both teams. The county game is the only thing worth talking about.
  16. I think they'll end up having to play something like Monday - Wednesday or Tuesday Thursday.
  17. Thats FT with County at 2-2 Replay to be on Tuesday 23 March. Hoping Dundee can come back from 2 down again to earn a replay.
  18. Dunfermline 2-0 Queens, Excellent news is well for us.
  19. 2-2 County, C'mon! Draw would be good.
  20. Robbo doesn't seem to think much is happening in the match so far, he's resorted to counting the Morton fans....totalling 109
  21. Hows Wyness been doing at Dumbarton? Scored yet?
  22. 2-0 Raith, oooft
  23. A draw for Dundee today would be excellent. Need them to be playing as many games as possible
  24. Good luck to Nick Ross then. Hope he plays a blinder.
