We still need Imrie in the squad. If there's any suspensions or injuries in midfield he is the excellent replacement we need. No one else on the wing is good enough to challenge for a starting position either so maybe the regular starting midfield may get complacent if he was to leave.

I thought i read a while back that if County were to win the league they would have new seats in place for the start of next season.

If we win today and County beat Dundee we'll be 10 points behind with two games in hand. If we won those 2 we'd only be 4 points behind with a long way to go. IF IF IF!

Excellent news. Does anyone know if his contract is up in the summer? This deal may be made permanent in January if he performs well over the next month. I seem to remember him being linked with us before in the past, can anyone else recall this? Its encouraging to see TB is trying to sort out this crisis and hopefully he'll add to it by bringing in a couple of defenders next month.

I agree that McBain isn't rated by TB. After some of the howlers our players have played this season he still hasn't been given a look in. This i think is quite strange as he has so much experience and in my opinion he deserves a chance to prove TB wrong.

This time last week i was dreading the QOS game. Now with a little shake up in defence i'm surprisingly excited to see LDZ and whoever fills RB in the team. I haven't been a big fan of LDZ this season and in the motherwell game he didn't even look interested but he CAN play good at times so maybe this chance to get into the first team again will spur him on. LDZ to score :011:

I've only been to Morton and saturdays game but after seeing the performance at Airdrie i now also agree that ball control may be a problem. At times it looked like we were for the take. Balls were bouncing off feet and others were missing touches altogether.

Duncan needs to be given a chance, Its crazy to keep an experienced midfielder on the bench when we are struggling in midfield. If Butcher persists with the current 11 for much longer then i don't doubt that people will start losing faith in him. At the moment we are doing reasonably well with a couple hiccups here and there. A couple changes is needed and he needs to realise this fast.

Yup I'll be there x3 Not as excited as i should be about this one. I used to love the cup games against the SPL teams when we were in the first but having been to Fir Park so much in the past few seasons with Gretna also playing there it isn't the same.

Whats the best train to take from Glasgow? Drumgelloch from Queens seems to be the closer station than Airdrie Rail, is this the best way to go? Thanks

I'm enjoying our spell back in the first division and it would be excellent to win another cup. I've really been missing those big cup days. The league of course is always priority but i don't think we should be going for one or the other, its only two more cup games and i don't think that amount of football is going to burn out the squad. We need to keep our feet on the ground and realise that this league is very hard to get out of, especially in the first season. Just enjoy visiting the old grounds :D

I think its fair to say that people might be thinking we're playing rubbish this season when we actually aren't, i think we have a bit of a consistancy problem and although we've been picking up good results against Dundee and Dunfermline the home games have let us down and as soon as we get that sorted we won't be dropping silly points against Ayr and County next time around.

Tony Low was one of my favourite youths and was gutted when he left. John Robertson insisted on Darran Thomson instead, the worst player to consistantly play for ICT.
