  1. I'd take a draw today, I really think Partick can take a draw at least off Dundee. This is our hardest game left this season.
  2. Excellent idea Scotty, was thinking this for a while as scrolling through the early pages when you've been to the game can be a bit annoying, as well as looking for another page for the highlights. I like it.
  3. none apart from yourself So you'll just watch it on telly then... Yes I'll ask you a similar question then, Have you seen a football game that didn't involve your national country or Inverness? Or would you go and see an entertaining match such as another international match or european fixture? I really don't understand what is wrong with supporting the highlands. Are you furious that County have won today and have equalled if not beat our famous 3-1 record against Celtic?
  4. Thats a good point, Would County gain european qualification if Utd beat Raith and were guarenteed Europa League next season? I remember after QOS and Gretna both done it they were thinking of changing the rules so that only the winner of the cup would gain qualification and if that wasn't to happen the next leading team in the SPL would get it.
  5. none apart from yourself So you'll just watch it on telly then... I shall be watching on the telly, have no intention to go especially as I'll be in the middle of exams but I woudln't imagine you'd have to look to hard to find some ICT fans to go with as I'm sure a fair few woudl want to go down. Luckily enough for me my exams are finished before the final
  6. EXACTLY.....well sed Birdy! I really don't understand this logic, Seeing as your both old fans of either highland league teams was there ever a bigger team you supported? Have you ever been to a football game that didn't envolve your national country or Inverness?

  8. I agree beating Celtic these days isn't that suprising but what i mean by bigger is they are now in a cup final because of their win, we only got a next round tie against Aberdeen. It's tough to say what was a bigger win. Clyde even beat Celtic on what i think was Roy Keane's debut. I always thought beating Celtic at home 1-0 was a bigger win in 2003, they went to the Uefa Cup final that year and had top players playing against us, unlike today or in 2000
  9. I think the technical term is glory hunting, normally only found in supporters who can't face up to negative emotions. Hopefully it does not take too much hold or he'll be supporting Ingurlund in South Africa next. I guess you weren't an Inverness Caley or Inverness Thistle fan then eh. Supporting a local team on a great occasion is worth doing, thats what makes us different from teams like the OF. Correct!!!! I was a Caledonian fan. I'm pretty sure Caley is short for Caledonian. I'm surprised though that after 16 years your mind has narrowed. You decided to support a team you loved even though they were joining together with their local rivals and yet you won't do the same today for a cup final to give support for the highlands.

Hopefully it does not take too much hold or he'll be supporting Ingurlund in South Africa next. It's by no means glory hunting, it's supporting your local team; it's supporting the Highalands against the central belt. I am very proud to be highlander today. Sorry again for the centered posting. Whoohoo let's all jump on the glory hunting band wagon, I really do hang my head in shame at some of the supporters we picked up after the merger. I can just see the Dundee or Dunfermline forums tomorrow being full of "let's go watch our rivals play in the final" get a grip you soft @r$es you're meant to be ICT fans. I think County and Caley in the highlands after what we've been through have a bit more of a footballing passion than Dundee, Dunfermline and Raith. This has nothing to do with glory hunting, we are ICT fans there nothing to glory hunt about ICT. Why do people think you have to ALWAYS hate your enemys?

  12. I'd much rather win the league but to win the Cup is something special (Especially when your in the 1st division) I think County won't even care if they don't win the league now, they've got their cup final and i'd be the exact same if i was in County's shoes. At the start of the season i thought we'd finish in the top 3 or 4. The challenge cup final was excellent and i would have been happy with finishing 3rd but if we were to win the scottish cup and finish 3rd i'd have been more than delighted. These days we are top of the league though so that has to take priority, the league means far more to us now because of the position we are in. Well done to ICT AND Ross County.
  13. How can you go to a game and "support" a team other than your own? On a day that your team isn't playing, or a competition that your team isn't even in? I think it's quite easy to support a local team even if it is a rival. We are all football fans after all so why not?
  14. Nonsense! Its a topic about gathering ICT fans for a cup final day to support our local neighbours who have given us a brilliant season. This is my favourite season in our entire history and Ross County are the reason for this, Having those two derbys so close together with both of us so close to winning the league was amazing. Having both Highland teams challenging for promotion is also quite a feat. I'm not looking for this season to finish and an extra game at the cup final would be brilliant if we could all get together and support the highlands for one last game of the season.
  15. I am going to make my way to the Scottish Cup final this year to support Ross County. I think they have a brilliant chance against either Utd or Raith and after todays performance they have shown they can win it. For most of the game they weren't even under that much pressure and they had the best of the chances. How many ICT fans out there will be thinking about going to this Cup Final? As i said in another thread our season will be over by then and most likely we'll all watch it on tv but who wants to go to the game? A wee ICT support at the cup final for County would be good crack, i seriously think we should think about getting a few numbers together for this.
  16. I'm glad a thread has been started on the ICT related forum today. Magnificant result for County! I had a 14/1 bet on them to win and they delivered nicely. IMO this is a far bigger win than the 3-1 in 2000. It doesn't matter if we were 6 years old, they are in the cup final and thats worth more than what we recieved (Aberdeen twice). I can't believe how well they performed and today i was actually spurring on Barrowman and Vigurs throughout the game, well done to them. I'm going to try and get a ticket to the final now and support the highlands and i recommend a few of us do the same (Our season will be over by then and we all love a game of football, why not support the highlands), Ross County has had an excellent season and after beating Celtic they deserve a massive support against whoever they play Dundee Utd or Raith. County have a great chance to win the cup now, lets just hope Raith can do it tomorrow and make it an even better final.

If i had known it was only ?6 earlier i would have maybe been tempted to travel the train to the game. Just heading off to watch the County game just now, 14/1 for them to win? Here's hoping they can do it for the Highlands and for my bank balance.
  18. I'm in Paisley (even closer) and yes it is quite ridiculous at the moment. Going to phone up Cappielow just to make sure. Just phoned and they said the game WILL be on tonight.

  20. I'm not sure what happened but when i went to save the Raith file i was unable to. I was able to save all previous videos to my hard disk using the Flash option. Has this been changed so we can't save the files now?
  21. The problem is though we need some competitive matches in the summer if we are to be promoted. Playing Strathspey and Clach isn't going to cut it.
  22. ICTPaisley replied to TopSix's topic in Caley Thistle
It does and its a wonderful feeling but i'm also starting to want more and more football now. I can't even wait until Tuesday night to see if we're still going to be top by 4, 5 or 7 points. I'm lucky to be going to 3 out of the last 6 matches as i've missed a fair part of the season but i'm just thinking "HURRY UP AND WIN THE LEAGUE SO I DON'T HAVE TO PANIC ANY LONGER"
  23. I know its getting annoying with all these IF we are in the SPL threads but does anyone know if we have any official pre season friendlies yet? I think i saw someone write Strathspey were playing us and County. Also IF we are in the SPL next season will we be getting any exciting opposition at TCS in the summer (By this i mean anyone who isn't Scottish). Even a summer tour to Denmark or Italy or somewhere new? I wouldn't mind a few games against English opposition or even Irish. Playing teams like Sheff Utd, Hartlepool, QPR etc has almost been more exciting than Clach and Lossiemouth in the past.
  24. I pretty much agree with everything the Bridge Ender has said although i also have my doubts over Golly, I would keep him in the team but as a backup. I'd be looking to sign in a left back and a center half who could challenge for the first 11 immediately. A Striker is almost certainly required, the way we have it just now is if Rooney's out our whole team has to shift around. McBain also hasn't been playing all season so at his age, 37ish? He wouldn't be match fit or able to cope with the SPL. Maybe Peterhead or even Ross County for him next season.
  25. I just bought a say aye to a "killie Pie" from Aldi for ?1.20. Buy one of those and ask them to heat it up for you at the game, ( Its got heating instructions on the packet so they can't f*ck it up)
