butcher will be a great manager this year if he doesnt play rooney. he is rubbish. if we started playing the ball on the deck again we would be great.

I couldnt agree more. Nick ross is a really good player with loads of potential.

Esson: Had a really good day. Shame he let in the goal but great save for the penalty. Stratford: Terrible crossing but did have some good passing. Tokely: Lets face it he isnt a centre back. You could tell he was out of position. Munro: Played ok but didnt have much to do tbh. Djebi Zadi: Didnt get up enough but defended ok. Good penalty. Ross: Only person on the park that could pass the ball. But did back off a few times. Duncan: Absolutely shocking!!! Terrible passing but great penalty. Cox: Good game. Went into every challenge. Not great passing. Hayes: Wasnt very good at the start but when he started getting into the game he got injured and had to come off. Foran: Ran his socks off. Wasnt brilliant on the ball today. Had to come off cause he got a knock. Barrowman: To be fair he looked sharp and we did play worse when he went off. ALOT BETTER THAN ROONEY!!!!!!! Subs that came on: Mcbain: Played well. scored a clever goal. Wasnt good when he played up front.(came on for hayes) Hastings: Played pretty good at left midfield. Unlucky not to score.(came on for foran) Rooney: He was horendous. Terrible player and if i was the manager he wouldnt even be on the reserves bench. I couldnt decide before this game who was better player barrowman or rooney but it is a no brainer, Barrowman.(came on for barrowman)

Butcher says that he is not going to get anymore trialists in this summer. So out of the eleven trialists we have had who do you think has looked the best in the game(s) they played for us?

we need a person to take his chances well. And he is a youngster and i think he has potential. I would say graeme shinnie looks pretty decent as well. I say we start using these boys alot this season.

As i said i hope we see nick ross a lot this season. Thats three goals in two games. Plus we are needing a right midfielder.

I got the team sent to me. Now I will say now before one of the anal posters starts going about formations and the like - this is just who is playing not where they are playing. Reidford, Tokely, Djebi Zadi, Munro, Bulvitis, McBain, Ross, Cox, Foran, Sanchez and Stratford. It's currently 2 - 0. Foran and Ross. Foran missed a penalty. Fair play to nick ross thats two goals in two games. Hope we see a lot of him this season. Good to see foran scoring again. Is Reidford another keeper on trial?

Hamilton have lost their two best players,Brian easton and James mccarthy to prem clubs, so i think they will go down.

I agree with De wagt he was great on the back line, young, big built, not scared to get stuck in.. As for Eagle's... in my IMO you are so far off the mark with him, after all hes left sided and was playing on the right side in the second half and still managed a goal.. which last seasson we were lacking in both.. Goals and some left sided players.. the man was fantastic IMO all the same, remined me of a young Danny Macdonald in style and looks lol!! Eagles was, Fast, problimatic for the defence (Citys), got in space, has a touch, if you remember he set foran on the run for the goal on more than one occasion and also put the ball to forans feet just before he took it round there keeper gifting the goal to barrowloads. as well as scoring himself, he had a hand it all 3 goals.. layed on one, im sure he was taken down for the pen and scored one himself..... Rooney was taken down for the penalty . I fot eagle was quite good in the first half but i fot he was poor in the second. Tokely and cox(who was fantastic)were playing balls to him all night and he just lost it the majority of the time. The only thing i fot he did right was score,sorry.

I thought eagle was shocking in the elgin game. In my point of view he was scared of anyone who ran towards him and he didnt get stuck in enough. But i fot every other trialist was good especially De wagt(number 17). I think we should sign all the trialists accept for eagle. I can see a lot of fans getting frustrated with eagle.

Caley have two pre season games on the 14th and 15th of july. The squad will have to be split into two starting elevens. How would you split the team for each game? Or does anyone know how it is going to be split?
