After seeing the second half performance against macedonia and the whole game against Holland I really dont think we should be sacking Burley. I know you could bring up all the previous games that we didnt play well but I reckon if and that is a big if we can keep playing like we have in the last one and a half matches we could be a hell of a lot closer to qualifying for Euro 2012 than we were this time. I think that Burley should be given a chance to take us to Poland/Ukraine and if that doesnt work out then get rid of him Oh and Sack the Board, They are a disgrace to Scottish Football. What the hell was Peat thinking about when he made those comments before 2 of the biggest games in the campaign. What a way to get the confidence flowing. He is a tube And Smith has been a joke as well. The whole Eduardo thing proved that I think. I know he did dive but why did he have to make such a big deal about it when lets be honest it would have made no difference and if any scotland player takes a tumble we are going to be royally ****** just because he had a winge at UEFA

No idea what time I will be there. The bus leaves at half 9 but the roadworks outside Glasgow are mental. I wask caught in them last Saturday and on Wednesday. Got stuck for about an hour going both ways. Hopefully the road wont be too busy tommorrow

Quality. Shame on you both. Cappielow is a great Scottish football ground, the like of which we are seeing fast disapper in age age of prefab lunacy. A wooden main stand, two ends of terracing (one closed, forever), an enclosure with a holey asbestos roof, a long walk to outside toilets with a concrete pee-tray painted in club livery, and a shambolic pebble-dashed 60s inn selling cheap watery beer less than two minutes from the turnstiles. Does this sound like a shithole to you? Dam right it does :boldblue: Where abouts is this bar? I could do with a few pints before the game :D

Loved the game last night. Thought it was a brilliant performance despite the defeat. We need a natural goalscorer which Miller is not. He was great at running into space and his workrate was unbelievable but he is not a finisher at that level. If we can keep playing like we did last night and in the second half of the macedonia game I dont see why Burley should leave but I cant see him being here for the next qualifers. Love Hampden it is a brilliant stadium and the atmosphere was brilliant

Personally I love the way Butcher talks to the media. Some of the comments he makes are classic. One today was "I limited myself to just the 3 bottles of wine instead of the usual 4 last night" in celebration of the scotland game. I think that is great to have in an interview. It shows that he his just having a laugh pretty much and I reckon it will get a few people on our side and when you are a small club you need everyone you can get. I want Butcher to stay untill the end of the season unless we are in the bottom half of the table with no hope of promotion in January. He needs to be given a fair crack of the whip. We gave Brewster a hell of a lot of time so I reckon we should give Butcher the time he needs this season. We have only lost one game this season and if you didnt know the results and were looking on this forum you would think we are bottom of the league with no points and that the whole club was about to collapse when actually we have had one terrible game and apart from that we are doing pretty well.
