  6. I agree with this somehow. I dont know what it is but I just dont think there is a better feeling than travelling to some crappy ground eg Somerset Park and eating a moldy pie and watching some fairly entertaining football not for the quality just the general kicking lumps out of each other Must be a form of masochism.. Yeah thats it. Sometimes the wrist slitting just isnt enough for me
  7. Who put the O and the Y in County (over and over again) The wheels on you house go round and round

  9. I wonder if Butcher might start thinking about loaning in someone from the SPL. Im sure there are a few up and coming forwards that would be more than capable of playing in the first division. That is something that should be looked into
  10. Not aimed at anyone. I just find it an interesting switcharound. I'm not too sure what you mean RiG. My point of view about matters on the park has not changed too much, I don't think, of course circumstances will always change a way of thinking about any subject. I think due to recent events (as a mod you will know what I mean) the method in which I deliver my point of view has had to change and certainly my experience of the Main Stand on Saturday really made me think about how hostile some fans can be towards each other, especially as we all support the same team. There is definitely a different way of thinking across there in the expensive seats. If the switcharound that you are talking about is indeed my new manner of posting then it could be down to the fact that if I want to stay here then I need to fit in and my usual aggressive posting manner has had to change but I believe, and I may be wrong, that my basic beliefs and ideas about discussion topics are the same all that has changed is the delivery. What I have noticed over the past few years actually ever since we got back to the TCS in the SPL was that there seems to be a rivalry between the Main Stand and the North Stand. I used to sit with the guys who try to sing songs which now seems to happen before the match and at penalty shootouts and taking the **** out of away fans for singing songs which is shocking they should start bloody singing during the match rather than trying to act all hard. Anyway I dont know why it is but there is a dislike between north and main stands which needs to get sorted out. We need to get together support our team and make some ******* noise and try and make the TCS one of the grounds that nobody used to want to come to I sit in the main stand, and we dont have a problem with the north stand on the whole but the main reason why most of us dont join in with the songs is because, if were being honest are songs are an embrassment, dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum CALEY, it aint exactly an amazing song is it, and apart from Section G there aint really that much sound comes out of the north stand either if were being honest Fair enough. Some people in the North Stand have a problem with the Main Stand then. Yeah I agree the songs that do very occaisionly get sung at home are crap but from my experience we do have a fair few songs to sing. The noise that comes out of section G isnt exactly booming. They dont actually do any of their singing during the match when it needs to be done most which I find astonishing

  12. I agree with you there. I never thought Forans second penalty claim was a pen and the first one was debatable but I thought if Montrose had been given their pen we would have had no complaints There was a comment on here yesterday made but tokelyisvictorious (or something similar) saying that the older fans were getting on at the manager. A guy who was sitting 2 rows in front of me at the game started shouting Bring back Brewster near the end of the 90 mins. I felt like giving he a smack in the mouth. It may not have been the best performance in the world (actually it was one of the worst I have seen) but we are through and we can see where we have to improve
  13. This was a major blip but I am glad it happened in this game. It will give the management and players the kick up the arse they need to realise that they have to improve by 100% if they want to be challenging for the title Yes it was great to be back at the TCS but I didnt watch a lot of football. I have seen Primary School games with more quality than what was on offer today
  14. I went into the ground depressed just at the fact that we had to play in the Alba Cup and was hoping for the team to blow the depression out the window with a comfortable win Instead I have come back home in an even worse state. The first half was terrible with the second half on a little bit better. We seem to have forgotten that when we get close to the oppositions box we are supposed to try and get the ball in the back of the net instead of just pissing about with the ball and trying to walk the ball in. And when it comes to crossing it takes the players about 10 years to decide to swing the ball in (with the exception of Djebi Zadi) I cant remember us having a decent chance until extra time. If things dont get better we dont have a hope in hell of winning the league But on the positive side we are through to the next round and the only way our performances can go is up. I thought Cox did really well today he looks like he could be a great asset for us throughout the season.
  15. Their ground is a shambles to be fair. The main stand is made out of wood and you could dismantle it with a rusty hammer. There is a patch of grass behind either goal so the away fans might get that. Dont forget to bring your own ball their is plenty of space
