I am very disappointed that he has moved sidewards rather than upwards but as some people say many decisions will affect his overall decision. Maybe he wants to stay in Scotland and after all he is from Aberdeen originally but he really had a good chance to go south and play for some top clubs and may even grace the premier league. As for his commitment for the next half a season can't believe that people are gong to question his commitment. He is the skipper in Foran's absence and has been committed even though we knew he was likely to leave. I am sure he will want to go out on a high and so will be trying his hardest to make sure we have the most successful season in our history.

I think you have misunderstood what i mean't. I am not devaluing players who are not playing at clubs higher than us I am just saying that in my opinion there are better players than are at county regardless of their fortunes. There are clubs not even in the premiership that I would reckon would do a good job for us but I think overall we have a better side than county man for man at the moment and I don think any of there players will necessarily improve our team if some of our key members leave. So looking at county I think we are selling ourselves short but say St Mirren who are also having a poor season I would take Kenny McLean in a heartbeat and also i think Rory Loy at Falkirk is a good striker but we won't get either them. Yogi has brought in some good players to Falkirk who are not much bigger if they are than us and yes we do have geographical issues that makes it harder to attract players but i am sure he can find a few gems either on loan or permanently.

I think looking at county players is selling ourselves short. Yogi has contacts and with the positions we have finished we are making more of a name for ourselves that players want to come to the highlands. Remember yogi plucked Kasper Schmeichel and Anthony Stokes to Falkirk so if and when Billy and whoever do leave us I am Sure Yogi has contacts tht will get some quality players to replace them.

I agree with what you see re Billy but the fact is that Mckay has a good potential to go down south and make himself a regular at international level plus get a better pay packet. The whole European place isn't really going to be much of an incentive as we will probably get one or two matches and then get knocked out before the real competition begins like every other Scottish club. I hope he would stay who wouldn't want to keep him but I think we have been lucky to keep a player who has been fantastic for this long and if it is this summer when he goes then I for one will wish him luck.
  5. st mirren were never going to be like the cup game as we are not the same side just lost a little from our early form. A win is a win but it helps to gain momentum again even if we had to grind it out. But positively we are still only 5 off the top and 1 off second but better still we now 9 clear of St Johnstone again
  6. It would be great to generate the same atmosphere at home as is generated away otherwise we we would be the template for clubs all over the country. Wasnt there on new year but was a great turnout for the derby. The fact is all clubs have to allocate people seat numbers now compared to terraces and of course as is present in the north stand you can get groups together but unless season ticket holders want to move the club cant force them to move. The fact is the hardcore fans are usually at the away games which is where the atmosphere comes from where as at home we have families and older people who may not want to sing a lot. I also support Man Utd and they have installed a specific section to get all the fans who go away to get together to create an atmosphere in one corner of a 76000 seater stadium. We also have the issue of having a stadium that is no noise friendly but again something the club cant do much about at this present time. Anyway went off topic fine win and hopefully double that up tomorrow against St Mirren and we will be back on track. Just because we lost 3 on the bounce we are still only 5 points off top spot so bring it on.
  7. OCG is spot on nick Ross at Easter Road enough said never experienced that carnage for a late goal like that
  8. Have to agree with what has been said bad day at the office move on we haven't become a bad side over night but Partick seem to have our number at the moment. Its all about the response and the way we have been playing i am confident we can bounce back quickly. Wasn't at the game so cant comment on performance wise but we should have gone 1 up before they scored and we had what looked like a perfectly fine goal disallowed when 3-0 down which may not have changed much but at least would have given us something. It was a missed opportunity with Dundee utd losing and with Hamilton and Aberdeen winning it has become very tight in the top 5 but we remain second.
