  1. Matthew Lindsay a journalist with the evening times has called us the most attractive footballing team in the country by along way. What a season we have been having
  2. This could be a massive week coming up with us at home to Killie and United facing a tricky home tie against St Johnstone who are pushing for the top 6. If results went our way again we then face them at Tannadice in the rearranged fixture which could put us 12 clear even though they would still have one game in hand
  3. Show me a team that doesn't time waste. He'd have been gushing about "professional attitude to see out the game" if roles had been reversed. Chick Young is a tw@t. The thing is he wasnt covering our game. Jonathan Sutherland made a comment that the saints fans were getting angry with warren for time wasting and chick stuck his nose in with his experience from the week before what a tit
  4. Doing the buisness against the bottom six sides 8 wins and a draw since the turn of the year for Inverness. They have also won 6 and lost 1 of 7 matches away to teams in the bottom half.
  5. great win the end and helped by a wonderful last minute for winner for Killie happy daysssssss
  6. Chick Young is a right ******** apparently we are time wasting and we were guilty of it last week **** off you jumped up wegie *****
  7. Marley is doing absolutely what he did last weekend, completely ripping them a new arse but without a natural finish he will probs miss more than he scores
  8. sounds like we could be 5-6 up we need to get another just to make it more comfortable
  9. we could be out of sight by the sounds of it
  10. Yogi also said that we had 2 players on deadline day but they fell through late on. So it looks like we were looking but as Scotty says Yogi says we are looking at trialists so we may have a few in just to help us to the end of the season.
  11. Same sentiment as everyone else about the game. Great first half helped by a very disjointed Partick defence where we should have been out of site and Marley could have grabbed a load of headlines with a great hat trick. He was brilliant running the defence ragged but he isn't a natural scorer and that was shown in his first chance that he hit straight at the keeper. If we are to continue with him front we have to give a couple of the young lads a chance or bring in one or two because he will run himself into the ground he had to come off 10 mins before the end. I don't think the second half was as bad as people make out as I think we could have scored more but we lacked a final ball. We did become hemmed after a dodgy goal by Taylor that looked a foul we were hanging on. With Watkins running out of steam we lacked an out ball but we got through and deservedly so. The away support was great and fingers crossed we get a decent draw we could get at least one trip to Hampden hopefully two.
  12. I was disappointed that we didn't make any signings although they would have been loans so the idea of spending lots of money never crossed my mind. I agree that to much was made of getting someone as we have a small squad and budget it would be folly to just bring someone in for the sake of it and waste wages when the club can save some money. The player needs to be the right fit and someone who will mean we won't miss billy. But for everyone thinking this is the end of our season need to grow up. The squad we have got us here and although billy started to make a major contribution in the last month we made a strong start with him not firing. That core is still there and i am sure that Marley would work as a replacement but my biggest fear is injuries. the time is now to look at some of the younger lads and I would think that Yogi hasn't turned his phone off as there are players who have been released who may tempt him. I am very surprised that Hamilton let Antoine Courier go and I think he would suit our style as he offers pace and played in a team that under Alex Neil played a good possession based game. He has scored 10 goals and is really a veteran when it comes to the top flight so he wouldn't take to long to bed in. St Mirren have said that they will be bringing in more players before our league encounter a week saturday so who knows we may also have one or two before then.
  13. Hmmmm looking at his stats he has done ok but at 30 are we willing to sign a player already in the downward of his career
  14. It was an incredible match but a very slow burner which I couldn't see much of in the first half as the low sun was just hanging over the stands and getting in my eyes. After that I did not expect what happened in the next 49 minutes which is the best half of football for drama that I have seen live, the Nick Ross moment will live with me forever and I can say I was there in the bottom row right behind the goal when it happened. Extra time was one of the longest and most nerve racking half hour ever before the euphoria of winning this penalty shoot out. A great day out for all involved of an Inverness persuasion and one I and everyone else will not forget in a hurry.
  15. I guess it is a joke but that is definitely not going to help our crowds increase
  16. We have until late Monday night to get a replacement secured. We also have time after that to get a free agent on loan Only free agent the loan would have to be done in the window
  17. The fact that he says he hopes to get two in before Monday would suggest that we must have some interested players. Unfortunately it has taken a few days for the Billy deal to sort out so unless we pick an iron out of the fire tonight or early tomorrow morning then we will have to make do for County. I don't think it is imperative for tomorrow and I am sure if we had to make do then we could get to the end of the season OK but if we do get injuries and suspensions then we could be in danger of the season falling flat.
  18. Why he has done nothing wrong, he is moving closer to his family probably cause he has a child on the way so why should we be so harsh to a fantastic servant of the club and someone who i would gladly welcome back any time. In my view why shouldn't shinnie wear it he has been playing fantastic and i think that his move has been in the offing for ages now and he hasn't performed badly if anything he has been amazing recently and he deserves to wear it with his pride that he knows he has done everything he could with the club How can the team follow a "leader" who doesn't want to be here? He has signed a pre contract and won't be moving until June. Billy Mckay has hit form but he doesn't want to stay and is considering his options so do we drop him as well. Graeme Shinnie must have been in talks for a little while and we know that he was always likely to leave so why strip him of the captaincy now. Had he signed with any other club south of the border does the same he doesn't want to stay apply? Just because he has chosen Aberdeen which I feel disappointed about doesn't mean to say that his last 6 months here will see him any less committed. We have put lots of time and effort to make him the footballer he is so surely he will be looking to go out with something special. I for one would love to see him in May becoming the first Caley Thistle captain to lift the Scottish cup.
  19. I am very disappointed that he has moved sidewards rather than upwards but as some people say many decisions will affect his overall decision. Maybe he wants to stay in Scotland and after all he is from Aberdeen originally but he really had a good chance to go south and play for some top clubs and may even grace the premier league. As for his commitment for the next half a season can't believe that people are gong to question his commitment. He is the skipper in Foran's absence and has been committed even though we knew he was likely to leave. I am sure he will want to go out on a high and so will be trying his hardest to make sure we have the most successful season in our history.
  20. I think you have misunderstood what i mean't. I am not devaluing players who are not playing at clubs higher than us I am just saying that in my opinion there are better players than are at county regardless of their fortunes. There are clubs not even in the premiership that I would reckon would do a good job for us but I think overall we have a better side than county man for man at the moment and I don think any of there players will necessarily improve our team if some of our key members leave. So looking at county I think we are selling ourselves short but say St Mirren who are also having a poor season I would take Kenny McLean in a heartbeat and also i think Rory Loy at Falkirk is a good striker but we won't get either them. Yogi has brought in some good players to Falkirk who are not much bigger if they are than us and yes we do have geographical issues that makes it harder to attract players but i am sure he can find a few gems either on loan or permanently.
