  1. Strange as it may sound I hope that he is still injured as if he is fit he should be straight back into the team. Wednesday night was crying out for someone like Hayes to come on and make an impact. Maybe he said something nasty to Foran and now TB is making an example of him! ;)
  2. I sit behind the goals and the stj player just dropped like a stone IMO. You start to doubt yourself when a lot of folk in the main stand thought it was a stonewaller. However on seeing the highlights I havent changed my original opinion at all that it was harsh. Yeah I thought it was harsh too (as did plenty others around me) and said so on here, but was told that it was a stonewaller, glad I'm not needing another trip to the opticians!
  3. For the love of the wee man our passing has been abysmal!
  4. Maybe was but looked a 50-50 to me just calling it like I seen it. I don't insist on anything.
  5. 0-1 HT. Fuming! Willie Gollum u wee cretin.

    richie foran

He's certainly improved from the 1st half of the season where he was very poor both performance wise and in the captaincy. Looks like he's got his mojo back, hopefully it stays that way as even if he became the worst player in the SPL TB wouldn't drop him anyway.
  7. My wife works in a school and is a season ticket holder, I asked her yesterday about this and she was totally unaware. Quite possible that while the information may have gone to headquarters or headteachers the 'people on the ground' may not have been made aware. Ultimately it will be those who have to organise and distribute the tickets. The Highland Council is not renowned for its communication!
  8. Yeah, I'll not be buying another Errea one, their quality is woeful for something that is supposed to be suitable for the rigors of a football game and the sizes bizarre. Feel cheap plus pulled threads and bobbling after just wearing 2/3 times, for £40 no thanks. When I complained I was told it was my fault somehow, strange then that I have Scotland strips from when I was in secondary school and they still hold up fine 15 years later!!
  9. No worries CaleyD cheers for shifting it!

  11. Explain. please. Al give you an example of what im on about. The last time i went to see u2 play in glasgow, the gig was not a sell out. Why? because there was another big draw on that same night in the same city, in the shape of Celtic Vs Arsenal in the Champs League qualifier. Thing is tho, the attendance was hit in that game also...as u2 were in town. had there not been the distraction of the football on...then u2 wouldnt have any competiton that night for income and the same is true for the fooball Point being....when ICT are in the SPL on their own, they are the biggest draw and focus in the area. Bring another equally as appealing lure into the frame, ICT are not as tasty a lure as once they were. Money from advertising, sponsorship, backing from the business community will now be more split than ever. Still struggling to comprehend??....ok...think whats going to happen to Tesco when Asda comes to town! I take your point regarding sponsorship and advertising and this MAY take a slight dip. But I really don't see large amounts of ICT fans suddenly deciding to support RC and going over the bridge.
  12. Golobart hat-trick please (in the right end mind)!
  13. Dunno, has he had the ball in the net more than Foran?
  14. I'd just said to the missus that I thought he was having a good game. *facepalm*
  15. My trusty desktop has gone on the fritz and I need a new power supply unit. I'm thinking around 600-700W. Is it worth getting a 'modular' one? Although I've upgraded other parts I've never done the PSU. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful, cheers.
  16. I think it looks decent, plus a couple of mates have bands who are playing, in particular the Whisky River Band. Who I reckon are very good, but then I would say that! Lol.
  17. Hardly brand new information but he's (Piermayr) absolutely correct. I've no idea why anybody would be choking over anything Dougal. People are not going to read it and think- LOTS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE FROM OUTSIDE GLASGOW IN OLD FIRM SUPPORT SHOCKER! EDIT- to clarify who I thought was correct.
  18. Computer games have been the scapegoat for a raft of problems from school shootings to poor school grades to obesity and now apparenty the demise of the Scottish game, I'm sure someone on here even mentioned they might be one of the reasons more children/young people don't attend at TCS. In any event computer games are no different to watching a tv show or a DVD/BR in that they have people stuck on the sofa. I love gaming but everything in moderation (except Mass Effect 3 this week!) If parents have a real concern that their child if spending to much time indoors then it is up to them to get them off the laptop, tv, xbox or whatever, if they don't then quite frankly that's just lazy parenting. I believe there are plenty of things potentially stopping young people going out and playing football with the possibility of becoming (good) players and computer games may be a tiny part of it but no more. Other examples could be fear of child getting hurt in some way where the parent can't see them, alcohol, general unhealthy lifestyle, poor or no support/training, lack of facilities, cost; - the list goes on.

    Butcher OUT?

I know, how dare people question the management team or players you'd think they helped pay their wages or something! If only everyone on CTO could just write positive things all day everyday for a whole season we'd be in Europe no problem. Seriously though, so people are not allowed to have an opinion on the management of ICT in a forum for err ICT better just shut the site down now then guys.
  20. 10K could be put aside for a safe standing area perhaps?

    Butcher OUT?

I agree that it's not all Butcher's fault and the players have to shoulder some of the responsibility for their motivation and drive. I've only been at home games this season but the heads do seem to go down to easily for my liking. That said Butcher did bring in most of these players did he not? However it's all a moot point anyway - hes still got over 2 years on his contract and who could/would come in thats better anyway? Alex although I agree with most of your post I honestly don't think we have a team of 'very good players' I'd say reasonable with perhaps a couple of very good but in reality that's it (and it's all we can afford really). That is why it is so important that we have a team of players who give that 110% and battle till the final whistle IMO.
  22. Absolutely gutted Im gonna miss this game :(
  23. Proof of purchase is all you would need to get your car if it had been paid for and not yet delivered. I don't believe that it would be that simple, when MFI went under thousands of people were left out of pocket by hundreds if not thousands and not re-imbursed unless they had used a credit card. In fact recently i bought my wife a voucher for a company that is now defunct, she never got that chance to use it and apparently that's essentialy tough and I have the voucher and reciept.
