  1. We had maxium bob at ours they were excellent. That was in 2005 so dunno if they're still going.
  2. Looks rubbish. Who cares anyway, we'll prob only be there a couple of times (a season?) anyway.
  3. Although I'm sure the England fans like TB very much from a personal standpoint and for what he did as a player. I would think that they, and the FA would consider him too inexperienced and lacking in management skills/track record from the higher echelons of the game to take on a job the with the expectations that come with being England manager. Perhaps as an assistant manager, but no more.
  4. A real shame for Andrew and the team as he was showing some excellent form and was becoming an important player for us. Here's to a swift and full recovery.
  5. You crack me up....complaining about lack of support from the local area in one thread and hoping that we don't convert people to the cause and bring them in on an another!!! How exactly do you suggest converting one of them, once an Orc always an Orc IMO You maybe quite happy sitting next to union jack waving bigot but I'm most definitely not With that kind of attitude I can see now why you previously voted yes to kill of your previous team Dougal By not tarring them all with the one brush. They're not all as you describe but to describe them all as such is just to show yourself up to be as much a bigot as the minority who sing the songs and wave the flags. Exactly Alex, no different than someone saying all Muslims are terrorists. I supported Rangers in my youth, because my grandad did (my father had no interest in Football) I have no problems saying that, he also used to also take me to some of the Clach games. My uncle Ben (not the rice guy!) also used to take me to Telford street from time to time. Without going into the whole story (unless anyone really wants to hear it lol!) once I reached around 18 I lost Interest in Rangers and football in general for a few years other than going to the occasional Scotland game. I then started supporting ICT, going to away games mostly as I lived in Glasgow at the time. I suppose then dispite having a season ticket along with my wife for several years (since moving back to Inverness) I should turn it in immediately Dougal as I am a bigoted 'Orc'. I'll maybe ask my Protestant mother or Catholic father how big a bigot I am. In this case sir you are being a small minded fool.
  6. Where's the singing section ? Back of section E in the North Stand, it used to be in the back of section G but was moved. Yet theres still no noise coming from the new section whats the point if we try we get harrassed by stewards. you sing at a football game and you are the enemy to half the world it seems I'm in section F, so I'm not part of any designated 'singing section' but the lads did seem to be more vocal when they were back in Section G as opposed to now for some reason. Not a criticism just an observation. Luke as I've mentioned before from what I've observed this season in the North stand the stewards seem to be taking a lenient approach, I can't recall seeing them telling anyone to sit down and certainly not to stop singing! Happy to be corrected if in fact the stewards have ben mis-treating the vocal support this season.
  7. The announcer this week and last was different from usual as he has been away so I'm guessing the stand-in chap doesn't have much experience and may have been a bit nervous, hence the slip ups, but he could have sounded a bit cheerier no doubt. I believe TB may actually have an input to the songs that the team come out to, so they might be his choices.
  8. TBH this season I haven't noticed the stewards being too over zealous from where I sit in section F, North Stand. They appear to have been told to take an easier stance on the standing fans. Dunno what they would do if a conga started though!
  9. Where's the singing section ? Back of section E in the North Stand, it used to be in the back of section G but was moved.
  10. Ross puts it over from 2 yards! :(
  11. Claude hits the post!
  12. Honestly why do they even bother having linesmen?
  13. This is looking much better from us! Tade should have done a a bit better, keep up the pressure lads.
  14. Pretty scrappy so far. Middin have had a couple of half chances. We need to be a bit sharper with our passes.
  15. nahh, this one is : just running a bit late this morning (morning for me at least). Saturday mornings what are these things? :)
  16. This the matchday thread?
  17. I've only very quickly looked over the pervious posts so apologies if I'm going over old ground. IMO unless there has been a serious identified threat from the police/authorities regarding fans or certain sections of fans then blanket searches see very OTT and are arguably more likely to cause the unrest that they may seek to stop. That said in a nutshell I have no issue with sporadic random searches (even if that includes me) if it helps put off people taking things into the event that they should not. I see little or no difference from a football game to a music festival or even going into a nightclub. In the case of nighclubs - ROAR as i've been told on more than one occasion! In fairness at TCS it's not the stewards that have ever caused me massive stress it's the bloody traffic wardens outside!
  18. I'm sure others have probably discussed the reasons for people not buying tickets (particularly at this time of year) before so I'll no go into that. However - If for example 2/3 of sections at the west end of the north stand were used for away fans the home fans would presumably not be able to access the food and toilets at the west of the stadium as the fans would mix. Therefore the majority of the north stand and the whole main stand would have to use the facilities within the main stand, which I'm sure could lead to a bit of a messy situation, plus what about ST holders in this (now away fans) area? Would it be a case of 'sorry you can't have your usual seat, but your mate in the next section over can, tough' It would alienate a good number of folk who are the people actually buying tickets. I'm sure there's a good number of people in the north stand supporting Celtic anyway! Regardless, if this benefit cap is introduced Celtic ticket sales will plummet anyway.! Edit - repeated myself, not for the first time!

    Transfer Activity

I'm really quite surprised by this, wouldn't have thought the club would have the extra cash to take this gamble, 6-9 months if all goes well which of course it may not. We must have plenty of funds at the moment.
  20. You could say "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU'RE COOKING!"
  21. Nice wee header from Sutherland sneaking under Kello!
  22. Brian Irvine I think .....along with Scott Davie for the live commentary ... not sure who is doing open all mics ... can hear him, but not listening to that stream so dont know ..... I think I heard someone mention Mike Noble but I could be wrong!
