  1. I wouldn't bank on it bit to go yet, needs to get fitter and stronger to easly knocked off the ball, school report would say has potential.
  2. I think it is difficult to blame the manager, although as he says the buck stops at him. I wonder if we have been crediting the wrong person with the organisation and solidity of our back four, maybe its Munro and not Dodds who does the organising. The goals Killy scored were based on a shambles in defence and I am sure its not down to Caff. On saturday several players looked out of depth in the spl including so of the more experienced players. As was pointed out in an earlier post we are not out of the mire yet, third from bottom looks to be a good target.
  3. Give meeeee a cccccc

I think if you compare the two keepers I don't think Brown came off his line that often, although he did start this season to cut out the crosses, but he never got into the mix. Fraser was up against so tall players Wilkie and the like. Mark was a shot stopper, fraser is attempting to command his area. It will get better as he grows in confidence, I think the only way to compare them, if that is what you want to do, is to look at goals concided after a period of time. As Mark gains confidence and the back four get use to him he will do us proud.

I can confirm that you cannot get tickets at the gate, you need to go through ICT to get the necessary.

Can anyone tell me can you pay at the gate at hearts.
  9. Having started this thread it is amazing how it has developed. I think my point is that our supporters are treated differently from others we are in the main well behaved we do welcome away supporters to caley park in much the same way as dundee welcome caley supporters although in their case they tend to be on our side when we play united, it is the fact that people outwith the game ie stewards seem to think we are a soft touch. We have seen a change in attitude from the referees on the field I think they have discovered that we are a hard but fair team, no bookings now for two weeks must be a record. As far as on the field is concerned I don't have a lot to say, Hibs one of the best footballing sides in Scotland we played them off the park, Celtic top of the league by miles we played them off the park but unlucky. All i can say is keep it up CC. But we deserve a little respect as supporters
  10. I know I should not expect anything else from scotsport, apparently celtics game plan was upset by team changes because of injuries, not a mention of the fact that we lost our play maker after just 2 minutes although at the end they did say caley were infact the better team. And another thing :010: Ten minutes before kick off we were told to move into the stand and sit down by a steward who informed us when questioned that these were the instructions of the police. what happened at the away end several hundred celtic fans stood throughout the match, we would have been ejected from other grounds around scotland if we did the same. I am not one for political correctness but it would seem like discrimination to me :018: :018: :024:

I thought that display by the ref on sunday was one of the best seen at caley park this season. No signs of the central belt bias or diddy team mentality all in all a good performance. :022:
  12. Bought a 1952 Thistle top red with black sleeves from the toffs web site now that is smart. realistic as well made of the original itchy material and a button collar. Now that is smart.
  13. although I wasn't at the game when Caff played at Hearts for us he was solid mom so I was solid.
  14. I am pleased to see fans have faith in Caff, Caff and Munro had a great partnership, Munro did the Dodds role Caff tidied up, I think once they get back together it will not take long to rebuild the understanding. The one thing I don't understand, where as Brown and Dargo have kept everyone informed quite rightly about what they are doing regarding talks Dodds seems to have totally keep CC in the dark, it would seem we knew about DU at the same time as Charlie did, that cannot be right. If this is the case I think Dodds should be on the bench now until he leaves. :008: :008:
  15. It was when we gained promotion a streaker came on to the pitch a policeman caught the offender and placed his hat over the offending appendage, as quick as a flash a voice from the crowd shouted "thats the second ***** thats been in that hat to-day" :015: :015: :015:
  16. Could it be we have been punching beyond our weight the last two seasons and we are now beginning to find our place a good bottom six team rather than a top six team.

It is simple without the service no striker will score goals, you need to look a little further back in our formation, nobody is taking resposibility they just off load it. The other point I would make is, that we might slag players off over a pint but I don't think this is the forum for unfair comments in that individuals cannot responed to personal remarks and in some cases comments that are totally over the top. In doing so we reduce the value of this forum.
  18. Dargo is right there is no service, the ball is just punted upfield missing out the mid- field, its all hit and hope. We used to be able to pass the ball with speed, teams coming to caley park had a job finding the ball it was passed so quickly, now its the reverse. The style we are playing reminds me of when Balthat---- was manager, defend the last third then release Wilson Robertson, unfortunately we have nobody with that kind of pace. Dargo and Bayne have to fight for every ball instead of finishing of the moves, having said that they have missed a few good chances. Things might change with the introduction of Macaffery since dodds is suspended
  19. We don't need to play football at the back, don't agree with that. In the last 2 games Dodds has been immense defending, but his out ball is just a hoof up the park missing out the midfield they then have to fight for scrapes. We used to play the ball across the back working the opposition we now get the ball up to quickly. Still what do I know just a spectator :017: :017:
  20. Don't rush down to caley park for you Celtic tickets they are not in yet.
  21. What chance would the rest of the teams have if we started to play football :011: :024:

Quite a lot of us have to move about with our jobs, which means our families move with us. its part and parcel of working life. Maybe Darren's family could have been more supportive although having said that there maybe a valid reason for them not moving, as was the case with Bingham, although travelling to Gretna would take almost as long as to Inverness. You would think going by some of the comments Inverness is the end of the world although I suppose going by Scots sport it is further away than that. I won't dream of being critical of darrens commitment on the field but I have little sympathy with the excuse of distance to travel.

Against my better judgement I watched Scots sport last night just to see, how we lost. I think that if they could have got away with it even the commentators would not have mentioned Caley, what is it with with the central belt, we cannot sign players because of our location, and as usual we are not even mentioned by the pundits, I am beginning to believe people think we are not even part of Scotland. We should start a campaign, bombard STV with mail from Inverness, or am I simply missing the point ICT have no right to be in the SPL. :008: :008: :008: :008:

If we carry on at the rate we are going half the team are going to be sitting in the stand before the fixtures start again. We must have the worst record for yellows in the SPL. It could be that referees still think we are the hicks from the sticks, I always shudder when I see Blacky take off with both feet, he needs to curb that bit of his game, and Rossco is just Rossco, but the danger is having come through a tough round of fixtures when we come up against teams we should beat we will only have half a team. :008: :008: :008:

Is it true that Dodds has asked for a transfer? If it is it could explain his lacklustre perfomances, , although i don't say that he went out to play badly his mind must be somewhere else. its strange how players are plucked from obscurity get there careers back on track and then decide its not the place for them. :007: :007:
