  1. Munro would be a good leader if those around him did their job, he is there to encourage, not tell them how to play, or to try and play for them, thats the managers job.
  2. Maybe we are expecting to much from him in the position he is in. It could be that he should play a little deeper feeding the front two amost a diamond shape.
  3. I would come within the sweety rustler group, I think the singing section is a great idea and it does create a great atmosphere. I understand the frustration of the section, I was at the game when the west stand was opened for the first time , I felt then the stewards particularly the supervisor went over the top, but I also felt that the young guys raised to the bait and did themselves more harm than good. I also feel that making statements like if you have a seat in section G we are taking over is also over the top as one contributer indicated in this forum, there must be a middle road that would satisfy all concerned after all we are all here to support caley thistle and not the supporters baiting the stewarts and the stewarts baiting the supporters. As for the kilted one I am sure he was ejected the very first time the singing section came together in the east stand. A bit long winded but what would you expect from a sweety rustler. Enjoy the beautiful game because that is what we are creating at the moment. Keep singing the team deserve it. :021: :021: :021:
  4. I did follow this up but found that the training days are on saturdays and clash with my other activities, ie season ticket.
  5. an interesting thing that was said, was that St midden will be pleased that gretna are in the league, the implication being we will not be in the relegation struggle.
  6. How about the theme from LOST[ :023: :023: :023: :023:

    Away top

Is there any word on the arrival of the new away top, its almost September.
  8. If I remember correctly the gate at the cup is shared, therefore the crowd numbers are somewhat manipulated when announced, allegedly. :014: :014:
  9. I remember watching Charlie play football for Waterloo, now that was a year or two ago, and thinking I don't think that lad knows how good he is and he still is.
  10. I think we should put it down to first night nerves. Its easy to sing but not quite so easy when its expected of you. Don't worry about it, it will come good. I have some sympathy with you regarding the steward, 30 mins before the kick off he was telling me to get to my seat when queried he replyed orders from above, that must be from the same people who didn't see or hear the rangers songs, so its ok to to sing offensive songs as long as you are in your seat 30mins before the ko. :crazy07:The steward was the same one who spent most of the evening at the Elton John gig throwing his weight about threatening people with expulsion if they didn'move away from the wall. Well thats my rant over :crazy07: :crazy07: :crazy07:
  11. I don't believe we should be going down this line. Good bad or indifferent he is only a young lad who was thrust into the first team by Brewster before he was ready, this type of thread could damage the lad, I think we need to have a little compassion. If we have nothing good to say then say nothing.
  12. Credit were credit is due that was the best Rangers team to play against Caley. They played a hard pressing game at a pace that took caley by suprise and seemed to be a lot fitter than Caley. I wouldn't lay the blame on the players or manager we were beaten by a much better team. We will play the same and win many matches this year. As has been pointed out last year it was St mirren which was by far a worse result. I am sure once we have all our players fit we will be ok.
  13. We are assuming that all our players are fit, Rossco i think must be fit since we didn,t go for the frenchman. Bayne could be doubtful, Macdonald is out. I think the back four will be as per usual along with Fraser. We have many permitations in midfield, I think Barry would be expected to last 60mins at full commitment, Cowie seemed to be more settled on the left of midfield last week, spoilt for choice across the middle of the park, Black would play maybe Roy up front is the problem, you will have Denzil and Rory although I think Wood is much more mobile than Rory. Fraser Rossco Caff Munro Hastings Wilson Macbain Black Cowie/Rankin Denzil Wood/Rory
  14. read in the hearld that we have appealed the rejection of the work permit.
  15. I thought for the first 70 minutes the midfield neither protected the back four or supported the front two. We did look a lot better and had a better shape for the last 20. I thought county played well, Golly looked good, I would hope that they are successful in the coming season, it is still an advantage to us to have two successful teams in the north.

    Away top

It would appear that this topic has had ample coverage else where. ie home top /away top. I missed it when posting

    Away top

Got a letter yesterday say the away strip would out in the middle of August, the fans will receive it at the same time as the players also got a ?10 voucher to say sorry not bad. As we know it was because of the change of sponser. Having read the papers lately it would appear that Flybe is late again.
  18. seem to have moved off broken toe turned into a Rory thread, although I suppose if it is correct about the toe we need to look at options available.
  19. Got a letter from the club this morning informing me the away top will be out in the middle of august the same time as the teams away top, also got a ten pound voucher because of the hold up. See what happens when we are sponsered by flybe its late again :rolleyes02: :rolleyes02: :rolleyes02: [modbreak]moving this into the topic that already mentions this[/modbreak]
  20. Rumour has it that Graham Bayne has a broken toe. Can anyone shed some light on this situation. :009: :009: :009: :009:
  21. Well Scotty, you never fail to amaze me, you remind me of the guy who was on a football show I think he was called staty he knew everything about anything. Thanks for the clarification, although I still have the feeling had it been the weegies he would be playing by now . :022: :022: :022: :022:
  22. I imagin that if our new star from abroad had been signed by Rangers or Celtic he would have had his work permit the next day. Can anyone enlighten me into why it is taking so long :024: :024: :024: :024:
  23. Is it not the case that we are not allowed to stand up at games because of legislation. My point would be, that it applies to all, not just caley jags fans as at the moment it would appear to be. Could it be that when we achieved SPl status there was a clause stating that we had to sit done an shut up and be grateful :024: :024: :024:
  24. Paatalinun ?? should get his hair cut, he could think about the game rather than his head band
  25. I would prefer the Saints to stay up purely on footballing terms. I think the new manager at dumfermline will gell them into a very good team, best they perform in the 1st div rather than prem.
