  1. Thats me told then. :(
  2. HAS THIS TREAD NOT RUN ITS COURSE :( :( :(
  3. I watched the highlights of the SPL last night what team we could of had . Macaffery Dodds Rankin Black Dargo Moris ------ Wyness Wilson (robson) (Cowie) Not all in the SPL granted and I am sure there are others :) ;) :024: :(
  4. This post is absolutely rubbish :001:
  5. Striking is all about confidence, Barrowman didn't fail,in his case we got rid of the wide players. The type of goal he scores is from within the 6yrd box ie goal against Aberdeen. Rooney has to be facing the goal so the long huff from Grant is no good. What he needs is a partner like Wyness someone who can control the ball with his back to goal and bring people into play. I believe Foran can do this but not when the ball is played in at head hight. Simple play the ball on the ground and move.

    Get a Grip!

What we need is a reality check, we are not an SPL team we are a new team that needs to gell so it will take time. I must admit I am a bit confused as to why we need to lump the ball up the park or do they call that the percentage game, I can only think its because Grant needs to get back into positon that is centre left back, confused? I am sure Grant is when ever Lional gets the ball.
  7. I think Duff was rock solid against Falkirk won everything in the air and used the ball well, I would try him alongside Munro it might be that they are a little similar in their play but I think Duff should be allowed to go and attack the ball leaving Munro to tidy up behind.
  8. First 20 mins it was a bit like patersons team moved the ball about well got 2 goals then lost the place I still don't understand why we have to hoof the ball up the pitch and why it should be munro who does it. We need a playmaker I know that this is maybe Blacks role but more often than not he is having to put in tackles in the middle of the park an always in the mix so he does not have the time and the space to pick the passes. Esson had a solid game not sure what happend for their 2nd goal, he commands his area well but will need to do a bit of work on his kicking. :024: :024:
  9. Regardless of what happens to Marius I was chuffed to bits sitting in the maldives watching the football and hearing, and now on comes Marius Niculaes of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
  10. Just to clear up were he was born not sure whether it was Inverness or aberdeen but he is from Dingwall. His dad was the backbone of Bobby Wilsons successful Highland league team which also included Barry. That will be clear then.!!!!
  11. Macguire out for the rest of the season op.
  12. The last 2 seasons we have had 3 away games in the last six if there is any fairness in the system we should get 3 homes this time. The fairness bit maybe shows me to be naive

    brewster

All the conspiracy talk regarding Robbo and Orian and Robbo being set up to come back is just talk. When he left there was a sigh of relief coming out of Caley stadium. I spoke to people at the time they were pleased that robbo went but were keen to hold on to parkie. He won't be back.
  14. It could be we need a new manager but I feel it all fell apart when donald Park left was shoved to whatever, to make way for malky.
  15. Having stated on a previous occassion that 451 at home is negative what happens, we play 442 with two players upfront who play exactly the same way, you cannot win. We have also given more goals away since the arrival of Mcgire, if as a fan who supposedly knows nothing about football can see this why cannot the manager. Just as an aside, it was strange on saturday, I wasn't disappointed at the end of the game, could be I, like the team have come to accept poor performances. :024: :024: :024: :024:
  16. Yes that is right alex not critical of niculi he is being asked to do the wrong job the finn i know was not one of brewsters but Mcgiure was as is imeri. I also think proctor was but in my post I meant to say proctor not the most talented but will give you an honest 90 minutes
  17. INEPT To play 451 at home is defeatism, that formation fell apart when Rankin left. Imeri was suprised to find himself in the team so soon and I think on his performances so were most people. Niculi is not an out and out striker, he spend so much energy chasing the ball across the field when he get an opportunity he is Knacked. he should be playing behind the strikers. Now the flying Finn have spent a fair time in Finland it is difficult to be critical or so I thought. He wouldn't get a game for Inverness City. I feel that because Brewster has signed these players (maybe not the Finn) he feels he has to play them. Roy and Barry would give you a much better game and as for Macgire he is just a journeyman looking for a game, Proctor might be a great player but he gives his all for the cause. I always said I wouldn't be critical of the team but after Saturday I feel as a season ticket holder and having to endure such embarressment I needed to vent my anger :019: :019:
  18. If the two seats are together and still free I will take them.
  19. The vulture in me wonders if the good Dr might be a good signing. :023: :023: :023:
  20. I don't think he is that good, his mistake got proctor sent off, got Rosco into a situation were he gave away the penalty. I think proctor has what it takes to become a sound central defender alongside Munro. He also looks suspect with high balls seen him on several occassions misjudgeing the flight of the ball and allowing it to bounce over his head. I would say good luck but on your way.
  21. Answer to Johnboy, Cowie was about to shoot when nic took the ball off his foot turned and scored just Cowie was the only Caley player who didn't celebrate I didn't notice at the time but when you see it on TV he looked really p---- off
  22. I agree with harry chibber, the challange tokely made was clumbsy and not required but some of the posts are over the top. I believe tokely's weakness is that he reacts to situations rather than anticipates them which means he is always on the back foot. The aberdeen game was a disaster waiting to happen, some of the players gave the impression that they only had to turn up to win. there were one or two great bits of football, but mostly a team (thats maybe not the word to use) played like a bunch of strangers without being to critical I didn't see a potential international player on our side I think one or two players are stating to believe thier own hype. I also feel that Cowie and the [player I have just refered to don't get on It could be a knock on fron the Killy game.
  23. Black is back at what he does best playing football, respect for the wee man he just gets up and gets on with it. Duncan needs to watch himself he seems to get in the refs face alot.
  24. It is good to see solid evidence that he was offside as pointed out in the posts. When they put the line across the field macdonald was one one side and the defender on the other clearly offside I don't understand why why the pundits ingnored their own technology, apart from the fact that it went against the old firm. Just an add on Presserly rightly stayed on the pitch but should have got a yellow, the ball was going away from goal in macdonalds case he was heading straight for goal, odd thing about it he is acclaimed for his low centre of gravity and upper body strength, strange how the slightist off pushes can have him diving as if it was the 100m crawl, but I suppose that is the australians for you always good swimmers.
  25. I played against John Charles in the latter stages of his career, he could head a ball further than I could kick it. Some player.
