  1. In fairness to Foran we should stop hitting the high ball forward hoping he can get his head to it, the ball has to be spot on which is difficult from 50 /60 yards away and the defenders know were the ball is going. If our midfield is as good as we are told it is we should be playing possession football and pass our way through defenses, one touch pass and move like the Spanish they always seem to more players on the park than 11. Hayes I feel is not fit we still have to wait and see the best from him, he reminds me of Barry Wilson a good 45 minutes then disappears
  2. What we need is someone at the back who can talk and direct Ross just needs to be able get on with what he needs to do without having to worry about others in the back four, I think Hogg will just be the man
  3. I have a feeling the more players we have available the more confused it will become. To-day we were an absolute shambles Tade scored a good goal but didn't have to use his feet.
  4. somebody said who needs Rooney we do. First half we where awful Hearts were even worse. I know the team is being shaped but we have no play maker not that we have had on in the past but we need someone to control the midfield,
  5. Not got a scubbie Esson ?????????
  6. "There's only one Terry Butcher " at Kilmarnock last weekend.

    Referee

Just a point I felt that the ref on wed was probably the best I have seen at caley park all season. He ref the game according to the laws of the game not to who we were playing. He wasn't taken in by the diving display of the celtic players.
  8. We know that at the Celtic game the whole of the south stand will be standing and not one celtic supporter will be ejected for standing. I am not an person that looks for confrontation but I do believe in fairness. My suggestion on this occassion is that the north stand joins them we all stand together.
  9. The next two old firm games should be played behind closed doors. Hit them in the pocket they will soon grow up.
  10. It would be very difficult to turn the side into a passing side. To begin with they would have to learn how to pass, although they seem to be more than able to pass it to the other side. Dundee showed last night what passing is all about its movement pass, then look for space to give the person with the ball options. We have a bit to go yet.
  11. I thought Killy were the best footballing side I have seen this year at tulloch stadium. Just as a matter of interest did anybody think that they had a Marius look a like playing for them. Having said that he is a much better player.
  12. Just a small point but I just wish they could do something about throw ins.
  13. I was having a pop at ourselves not the players or the management team. We are still 4th in the table, beyond our wildest dreams.
  14. Its so easy when you are an armchair manager
  15. What we need is a player who can put his foot on the ball and create. We have players who can stop other teams playing but we need a player who can open things up for the likes of rooney and hayes. This would allow hayes to use his pace over a shorter distance and compete for 90 mins.
  16. Esson should have got man of the match it would have reflected how the rest of the team played.
  17. Not quite on the theme but to me EVERYONE OF THEM
  18. It was not my intention to get at the ref although I didn,t think he had a great game which could be backup by the rateing he got in the papers, what I was trying to do was to point out it is the resposibility of the teams, hence the example of caley and the management, I would argue the case with the Miller booking, it did appear to be an after thought since the ref did call Miller back after having spoken to him.
  19. Been there done that but at a higher level than a kick about. Having said that I do think you have missed the point. Integrity starts with the teams which was the point I was trying to make.
  20. We have been subjected to a lot about integrity recently, referee's inparticular.Yesterdays referee did little to champion their cause with his display. This is not a comment I would normally make, but what really gave me cause for concern was the booking of Miller. Miller ran almost the length of the pitch to offer his advise to the ref and it was as if it was an after thought that the ref booked him, had it been a caley player he would have been booked before a word of advice was given. The other thing that I found distasteful was a team of the talant of Rangers should rely on players who consider cheating a perfectly legitimate way to win a game. McCulloch built like a brick ----- house would have not of out of place in the Dying Swan. Although to far away to see it Bettie was no better believe. What we require is integrity within the game, Caley Thistle and its management team would be an example to all.
  21. I understood the question but must say not concerned about Blackpool or the league they play in :nanananana: :nanananana:
  22. I don't think undersoil heating had anything to do with the reason its getting to and from the grounds that is the problem. Had the roads been clear undersoil heating would have allowed us to play the game.
  23. Had he played for Celtic he probably would have got a his top, warm up gear boots and the team bus. :yellowcard: :yellowcard:
  24. I think we uncovered a real gem on Tuesday night, I wonder if Charlie is free to sign in January?????/
