  1. Blackman scores for Motherwell to equalise then runs into the crowd and gets booked!!! How many times are players going to keep doing that, all too often the yellow card then leads to a red as they run a tight rope of getting booked again. If I was a manager it would drive me insane :irritated:
  2. Get in, ya beauty. Rooney, 3v1
  3. 2v1, Riordan ................. come on Caley don't blow it
  4. Woooaaaafffff!!!!! 2v0 Rooney, Rooney, Rooney and Hibs down to then men as well
  5. Aberdeen down to ten men, oh the woes just continue haha
  6. Half time, half way there ............................
  7. It's the away winning mentality that seems to be about this season not just with us but with other teams as well, I'm sure statistically and has been spoken about before teams are having more joy away from home meaning the gaps aren't as big as some expect except from the old firm. I wouldn't be concentrating on St Mirren results tbh, the ones you want to look at are St Johnstone and Hamilton as they've been really poor this season so far. My monies on Hamilton to go down
  8. St Mirren 1v0 Motherwell after 37mins
  9. As long as we keep winning I'm not too fussed about the Motherwell v St Mirren result but on the basis I don't think we'll be down the bottom come the end of the season I'd rather Motherwell get beat
  10. Yes!!!!! Get in, Foran makes it 1v0 after 6mins 1st goal of the season
  11. Come on Caley lets get the home results back on track. Can't pick fault with the starting line up and would regard it as our strongest 11 we have.
  12. Just stumbled across this and can't believe he missed, even I'd have scored http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQLylizGmDs
  13. I'd take the top 6 finish any day of the week just now, I can see the argument both ways but for a club like ICT a top 6 finish would be fantastic and something to build on. Take results first over performances then go from there.
  14. I would agree a good decision to have both of them back in, we've looked far more solid in midfield with Duncan in there and hopefully with Cox back we'll have a bit of presence and not have to resort to long punts up front
  15. Here is what happens when women become qualified referee's!! http://www.youtube.c...feature=related Here is what happens when women play the glorious game!! http://www.youtube.c...feature=related Here is what happens when a woman forgets the basic rules of the game!! http://www.youtube.c...h?v=4Ee98vg65eE dougal You're treading a thin line here Dougal and probably going to get a lot of people annoyed with your persistantness towards this stupid ridiculous post that you created. The three links you have posted show nothing more than what also happens in mens football so just because it involves women don't highlight it like some exhibition trying to make out that 'this is what happens when women ......'' I think it's about time the thread was removed or taken down to stop others posting because you clearly are not being objective at all throughout any of this thread and I can see from previous threads there are a few who have been offended by it including me, and yes I am a man not a woman!!!! Jeez your easily offended . Try the Celtic boards where you'll find more easily offended folk . Maybe offended was the wrong word to use, I was trying to make a point more than anything.
  16. or is it a ploy to try and get the club to offer him a better contract to keep him there and inefect just getting a big fat payrise when a move wasn't even on his mind.

  18. With Hibs being on a somewhat resurgence over the last couple of games I would start with a 4-3-3 and play Duncan in the middle (if he's fit) and stick Duff to right back to cover for McCann. Personally I'd have him there anyway as his distribution is far better than McCanns. Leave Odi on the bench and try and contain the midfield and pass them out of the game. I also agree Foran needs to be rested, he can't keep playing with his stomach problem but then I think he's the type of player who gives his all and always wants to play. It's a tough decision for TB, do you leave out your determined captain who'll fight for the cause or do you bring someone else in and leave him on the bench? If it were me for this game I'd bring Cox in instead, Foran would make more of an impact from the bench than Cox would if roles were reversed.
  19. Too many teams go to Castle Greyskull fearing that they'll get turned over and freeze on the day or simply don't play and let Celtic dictate the game and tempo. They are not a good team, period, compared to the Celtic teams of the past they are far more inferior to them. If we can get the ball down and pass it, slow it down, don't give them time on the ball and press the game, I genuinely believe we can take something from itand continue the run. We should take hope from the way Rangers turned them over in their back yard (yes people will say it's Rangers but it doesn't matter) and also the St Mirren game. Plus I'd love to see Lennon bubble some more when it doesn't go his way
  20. The FA brought in the 25 man squad rule before the start of the Premier League season to stop stuff like this surfacing again after Wolves made so many changes against Man Utd last season (10 I think also) so I don't see how the FA can step in and say one thing against what Holloway did. Effectively they would be going against their own rule. He is 100% correct in questioning who are the FA to tell him that his players aren't good enough to play in his team and aren't the strongest he has. Players are signed because the manager generally believes that they can make a difference to their team so fair play to the man and leave him be. He is a breath of fresh air and if only managers were allowed to air their thoughts more maybe the whole system wouldn't be in such a mess.
  21. Quality result after being 1v0 down at ht and apparently not playing too well (I say apparently as I wasn't there) it's great that we bounced back in the second half and from listening to TB's interview the players inspired themselves into the fightback. Clearly the squad love being together and it's a testament to the management team that they have the belief and the ability in the team so as not to go mad at half time and let them turn it round themselves with a few words of encouragement. It's also great that the players have the respect of the manager to allow them to have a few pints after the game on the way home knowing that they'll not go over the top. Good to see us stick it right up Hamilton and Imrie especially after the home game earlier in the season, yes it's games we now feel we should win but actually going out and doing it is another thing so a big congratulations to all from me for todays result
  22. It's a daunting run of games certainly but one that I think the players will thrive on and look forward to, I don't think Terry and Mo will let the players get ahead of themselves and each game will be taken one at a time. If we have aspirations of finishing in the top six of the league then this is probably as close to the run we'd have in the last five games maybe without Hibs for the addition of Motherwell, if they can keep their good form going, so it'll be a sign of how far we have come. Personally I'd be happy with 3 points against Hibs then go from there.
  23. Dont suppose there's any chance that Mrs CJ would be appointed to run the line??? Bravo my man, bravo however do you think Dougal would allow it????
  24. I specialise in contoversial topics as the majority on here seem somewhat afraid to do so When you say you were involved in running Caley does this mean collecting the raffle money or cutting up the oranges for half time?? I applaud absolutely everyone who plays his or her part in the running of a football club no matter how small the part is, providing its not to line their own pockets of course It's not that others are afraid to at all it's just on a subject like this there was no reason to start a thread about it and we also have a lot more respect than to feel it necessary to start one. What's the difference between guys or girls watching football or going to football? The only reason you clearly start controversial threads is to be noticed because nothing else you can or will say will get any kind of response.
  25. It would be great to continue the run away against Celtic of all teams (personally the one I hate the most) but as everyone said it will be one of the biggest tests of them all although I'm sure we all thought that against Rangers and look at the result we took for there!!! I'll be there with Caleyjag cheering them on and no matter what happens it'll be a fantastic achievement anyway. I agree with Yngwie that sorting out the home form should be paramount but lets enjoy this record while we can as I'm sure the home form will come ......... lets make it against Hibs next weekend
