Butcher is Boss
take that attitude old chap if you want but we are only letting you know what is to come we could come on here laughing at you.. but we are not as for being embittered? nope supporting the bees is a lifelong obession that comes with realism and hope for the future, In that case...remember how relieved you were when Butcher went? Would you have wanted people coming onto one of your forums saying the next manager was going to be even worse? Peace anyway

Butcher is Boss
This is becoming very tedious. Not reading anything else from anyone purporting to be from Brentford. Perhaps they can be moved into a separate "Letters from an Embittered Brentford Fan" thread, and leave the rest of us to look forward to a hopefully better period at ICT, with a team whom I am personally convinced can help us beat the drop.

Crap player?? He was in the United team which beat Barcelona twice.

Maybe he's good at grammar, though

Relegation: A 2 Horse Race?
I am at the moment hugely optimistic

Butcher is Boss
I look forward to going up to Tannadice and thumping them 2-4, like we did the last time Brewster went.

Butcher is Boss
We are two points adrift. Look what the difference a couple of wins have made to Hamilton. Absolutely no reason to think we will relegate at this point. Under Brewster maybe...but that it is in the past and we will never know what might have happened.

Butcher is Boss
Thanks, I hope so too. I would have liked to see Robbo back at the helm, but I can't complain about the Butcher+Malpas duo. I've actually found this search for a new manager to be much less stressful than the last one (but then I was gutted that CC resigned, and I didn't want Brewster back). I think B+M can keep us up, and if the 18 month deal is true, then Butcher is at least committed at the moment. If he fails with ICT, it's a nasty blot on his CV, and I think he will want to avoid that at all costs. I have no complaints about the lack of information from the board either. Until Butcher signs on the dotted line, there is no point in saying anything. He still might fly back up and change his mind...

Who will be the 3 candidates?
"Exclusive"

Who will be the 3 candidates?
I don't really have a problem if once in a blue moon he needs to do some Scotland stuff. So you think the long term plan is that Tel keeps us up, and then Malpas takes over when Tel moves on at the end of the season?

Butcher offered job !
Half the other media sources on the planet announced it last night, so I guess it would be been odd to have said nothing, even if would seem more correct.
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
Except if we go down he's in a worse position than he would have been if he didn't take the ICT job, as he can add crap at ICT to crap at Brentford in his CV.

Who will be the 3 candidates?
Hope he didn't do too much damage!!! :thumb04: I could cope with Butcher being in charge, but I'm a bit mystified as to why he wants it. He would have to be very certain of us not relegating, or it makes him look like crap regardless of how many points we have at the moment.

Who will be the 3 candidates?
I thought that too. Due to Scotland plus punditry.

Kissing the badge
Exactly. Thanks Dougie, it certainly meant a lot to me. I can't believe that anyone could watch him deliver a free kick like that and then find something to complain about.

Who will be the 3 candidates?
Or worst. Thanks Alex. Still have fingers crossed for Robbo, even if the board did attempt to poison his lunch. AND he's going to buy the Heathmount as well Robbo closes his bar

IAN BLACK
Was disappointed both that he didn't play, and that he clapped the Hearts supporters as he passed them. Particularly as they were in the stands nearest us.

This certainly doesn't sound like Robbo: P&J

It means that in the paypal system, it is setup as a subscription, billed once per year for 5 years. However, as with any Paypal subscription, you can cancel this via the paypal website at any time. Perfectly happy with this, ideal for the lazy of nature.

Done! Don't suppose there's any chance of credit card sized supporter's cards? Always nice to be able flash these things in your wallet...
