  1. How? For starters he got us our highest SPL finishes IIRC, but what I had in mind was that I think we played our best and most attractive (SPL) football under his reign. Totally agree. And even watching a loss under CC you felt no more could have been done. Would love to see him take charge at Hearts.
  2. Very sorry to see Mikey go, but if he has the choice of being a #1 with double the wages you can hardly blame him. We've been hardly keeping clean sheets under Esson. But would prefer to have them both
  3. Better start improving your passing then Russell Would love to see CC back as assistant. Or even temporarily in charge until the new manager signs.
  4. The man is basically a tube. No-one should make a single criticism and we should stand back and watch the club collapse whilst we smile supportively.
  5. Nicely put Alex. My overwhelming feeling is of one of relief, but for the first time for a long while I also feel able to be optimistic.
  6. Totally agree with all points by L_G and Johnboy. Many thanks to the Chambers!
  7. hosa, could you provide a link? I can't find it... And if you enter "BREWSTER ON BRINK" into google, all you get is a load of United stuff...don't know if that makes me want to laugh or cry. No-one's really said how awful Hamilton were yesterday. I have never seen such a team of team-wasting, diving cheats.
  8. According to some reports on P & B, Hamilton have the worst pies in the league!!! So, there's NOTHING to look forward to then :thumb04:
  9. Thanks Alex, that could have been embarrasing had I gone.... Sadly, being a glory hunter and not attending games until 2004, I missed those early years. Regret that very much now.
  10. As I can't get up to the TCS for tomorrow's game, I thought I might use the opportunity to visit East Stirlingshire and watch them against Dundee United. It also saves me being increasingly depressed whilst watching Soccer Saturday. Has anyone been to their ground? Is it easy to park at? Okay, scrap that, it's a sell out already Just an afternoon of depression to look forward to instead.
  11. Excellent piece of news. I was going to go anyway, but I can now eat an extra ?12 worth of pies.
  12. Most of us: Smiths - "Heaven knows I'm miserable now"

Spot on with that comment. I said exactly the same on another thread. Don't agree with either sentiment. I think Black will do his best for ICT whilst with the club, and regardless of how much money we get for him now, we'll replace him with someone from Elgin who'll cost two and six.
  14. If finishing fifth in the league (with Hearts) is rubbish, then I'll take that rubbish any day of the week. Robbo knows the players, knows the game, cares about the club. What's not to want?
  15. "Craig Brewster?s problems at home leave Inverness considering exit strategy" The Times
  16. if so the players are playing a dangerous game,if we go down would 1st div crowds of less than 1000,even pay the wage bill, with the likes of barrowman on ?1500 a week?? I would happily swap Barrowman for a packet of sausages. Cuts the wage bill, and the sausages might put more effort in.
  17. And another good thing is that East End Park is the nearest ground to me. So that'll be nice again next year. And you'll be able to watch one of the nice people who used to work his socks off for us and occasionally scored goals until Brewster fekked him off and replaced him with a twelve-year-old who can't jump but who dances really well on YouTube. Unfortunately he'll be playing against us. Yes, watching Jeff Stelling, with the Pars 3-4 down, I said "Come on Graham!" and he duly scored

  19. Excellent. If the media start saying he's sh*te then perhaps the board might be forced to take notice.
  20. I salute your optimism sir but find it impossible to share it.
  21. And St Mirren beating Killie. This is unreal.
  22. I have absolutely no problem with either Imrie or Rooney, both of whom I like as players. I do have a problem with inept tactics, incomprehensible substitutions, a lack of ability to continually inspire a team of players who can be superb on occasion, and a total refusal to take the blame for anything.
