  1. This is the first Love St SPL game I've ever missed. I felt terribly guilty until I saw on TV that Dorman scored, and at that point I lost the will to live. All Hamilton need is a tiny run of form and luck and we are totally shafted. WTF planet is Brewster on?
  2. Robbo, great to see you on the board, and I just wish I could see you in the dugout again. Thanks for making the time to visit.
  3. Gutted that you're leaving :thumb04: :018: and really hope you'll be back soon. All the very best Baz.
  4. The players we have can play good football. The question is, why aren't they on a regular basis? The answer lies with the manager...
  5. I'd like to know the logic behind the (presumably health and safety based) standing rules. You can stand for ages before the game starts, and at half time, and they insist you stand to honour someone's death. But watching the actual game standing will induce instant death for you and everyone around you? How does that work?
  6. Thanks guys. If it's not an quick thing to do, then no worries
  7. Nail on the head. I find it sad that people are still so bitter. No wonder there were only 89 of us at Rugby Park. Would you prefer there was no SPL football in the Highlands again? I'm sure once ICT does fold due to lack of resources you'll all be happy again.
  8. Scotty/Caley D, not a problem, just a question. How much control do you have over the layout of the Fixture List? I was wondering about the possibility of having, say, green wins and red losses, so you could see immediately how badly well we were doing within the season at a glance.
  9. I hadn't actually realised there was a ghastly new site. But it certainly is
  10. Stuck in the past? Did I miss us being European Champions for five years in a row or something?
  11. Predicable? Not always Clicky
  12. Some of the away displays have been vile as well. Maybe we've just been luckier away from home recently. I never thought I'd see a win in the black strip, so maybe a pile of home wins are just around the corner (always easier to feel optimistic when you've just seen a win )
  13. Just back from the game, terrific first half but Killie came storming back after the break and the second half was a bit more nerve-wracking. Everyone in midfield was terrific, not impressed subbing Barrowman and not Rooney for Wood, but we survived the late goal and penalty and so all is well with the world. The numbers of supporters on both side was terrible. Where was everyone? There must have been about a hundred of us and half the Killie stands were empty as well. Well done to AttackMan for his constant chanting, he was driving the Killie fans mad. :thumb04: And a good word for the Stewards. Very nice, chatted before the game about Tokely, Wilson and Black ("a bit wild" - came back after the yellow to say "told you!") and predicted Barrowman would score. Makes such a change from the normal fascists.
  14. As the Raith player's wife said to her friends...

    New Kits

No, you have impeccable taste, and now that there are three of us who like the idea of purple, I'm sure we can force it through as the next away colour
  20. Yup, I guess we'll be in the first division long enough for him to eventually work out some tactics.
  21. Me plus a box of tissues.
  22. Was at the game last night and it was absolutely great to see Argentina and God himself. Scotland put up a credible performance despite Argentina's dominance, and it would have been interesting to know what would have happened had all the first picks been available. On the other hand there was no Messi or Aguero... We really must sign Tevez The downside was Hampden not being full, and the fact that I ended up in a section which made the sweety rustlers in the TCS Main Stand look like hyperactive madmen on speed. I had decided to go for the posh seats as you don't get to see Argentina too often, but why would you pay ?35 for a ticket to read your programme, go down early for pies, and then leave five minutes before the end? I could tell I was in a doomed area when I was the only person I could see signing Flower of Scotland at the start. And these were guys in their twenties and thirties you would hope had a bit of passion. Utterly bizarre.
  23. Blackie definitely. Scott Robertson from DU has been called up for midfield, and I can't see why he's any better. Miller, Morrison, McCormack all out now as well.
