reguero raven warren meeking shinnie doran otj draper/morison brislan hall a.shinnie foran foran will cause efe ambrose some problems. efe ambrose doesnt seem to like a physical contest so i reckon foran could rile him. gbh in from the start hard work and enough pace to cause problems, also has experience as a defender so could be a bonus against an attacking celtic side.

but surely if performance = attendence we shouldve had more at the game yesterday than less. yesterday was pish but unless half of inverness is psychic they wouldnt have known that would happen, so surely on recent performance they shouldve turned up for this game and then not for the next after a dismal performance. there was nothing to indicate that the team wouldnt perform. you surely cant blame performance on the poor attendance?

the way i see it weve had more good performances than bad with foran as captain this season the derby, dundee utd, st mirren, aberdeen, hibs, but his passion seems to get him vilified. hes our top scorer in the league and yet hes still not good enough. i just think like terry he has high expectations, and wanted better from the game, even last time we played motherwell he scored, and won a penalty. if he keeps scoring im not worried. if you get rid of forans passion (its passion) you lose half the player. so often we moan aboiut having players that dont understand what it means to play for ict, but when we have someone whos genuinly passionate, plays for the shirt and is proud to be captain we moan about him being overzelous? cmon people. im gonna look forward to the celtic tv comentators vilifing him next week yet again. he definatly isnt 100% he probably isnt even 75% fit so give him a break.

The only time I made a comment, very mild compared to this, (and I thought at the time it was constructive criticism) regarding our Team Captain, months later I was approached by him and put in my place very sternly and forcibly. i say play foran up top with billy but tell to play the width of the 18 yard box and let billy do the running, forans could be a very good predator, ie higdon, but hes not getting any younger, and doesnt seem 100% fit to me.

Come on Luke. Your positivity is admirable but I find it hard to believe that any ICT fan can have found that game today genuinely funny. first till last minutes abit of an exageration but after they almost instantly regained their two goal lead after we pulled one back i knew the game was gone, there was no point in wasting a good half hour moaning now was there. motherwell are our bogey team anyway. i came away saying we dont lose often but when we do we make the most of it and lose properly. no point in greeting about it, the players always have a chance to redeem theirselves next week. we looked very tired today, just wernt at the races, and after the players have given so much over the last 10 games it was to inevitable that we would lose eventually with the depth we have to our squad. hopefully well bounce back next week.
