Manager of the Month?
herald online quote from killie manager Shiels said: "They have the best player in the SPL at the minute in Andrew Shinnie. He is one I would recommend for Scotland if I had anything to do with it." totally agree. looking through the rest of the spl whos playing as well? griffiths? mcginn? nah they have had nowhere near the same impact on recent games as shinnie, hes such a talent. he can turn games for us, and despite everyones efforts they cant handle him. itll be interesting to see how he does against celtic, 1 on 1 against wanyama will be a big step up, hell be going up against a epl quality enforcer, if he plays well surely itll win him a scotland call up soon. hes been instrumental in our new get it down and play style along with doran and otj for me.

Kilmarnock -V- ICT
Just looking at Billy's stats in 24 starts he's scored 8 goals 10 sub appearances. In rooneys first 36 he scored 6. Billy > Adam. He should push on now and score over 47 in his next 84 games. Can't really compare the two. I'd say Oswell is closer to being Rooney than billy. He reminds me of him abit when we first signed Adam. A young guy with alot to learn but the potential to be a proven goalscorer. Whereas billy is a bit older he came here with 60-70 games under his belt and knew what it's like to be playing every week.

Penalty awards
I think the main reason why were getting penalties is we are getting I. The opponents box a lot more than we have been. Last season our best outlets was counter attack and crossing into the box but there wasn't much intregate play in the box. This season I think shinnie, McKay, foran, and doran have a great understanding and are able to play in tight areas without losing each other. I put this down to pre season. Playing against the smaller local sides have given us the chance to work in our game attack vs defense compared to years gone by when we've played league 1, league 2, and decent foreign sides where we've had to be a lot more cautious in games and its given us less time attacking. This has probably helped the defense aswell playing with less pressure on them than they would against a professional team. The only Rooney-esque unstoppable penalty I've seen from us this season was Gavin Morrison's in the Stenny shoot-out. Gavs always been a great striker of the ball. would still have owain starting before hin right now. However I suspect owain will be away at the end of the season so he'll just have to sit tight as a back up to draper and owain just now. It's always good to have Replacments in the ranks. I personally think reguero Should take them.

Potential banana skin dodged I think. It's never easy going away to these small 3rd division grounds.

Inverness stadium bar may open to away fans

I.C.T. -V- St Johnstone
Ditto to caley100s owain Tudor jones comment. Thought we were at our best when play was going through him with the ball on the deck. St Johnstone were at their most dangerous when we played kick and run up to billy. I have to comment on billy too though. He was different class. Held the ball up, ran the channels, scored, and the forced a fantastic save from Mannus. He turned the st Johnstone defenders like milk. Another great performer was Graeme shinnie, outstanding. Won a penalty, cut through the st Johnstone midfeild like a hot knife through butter, and kept the saints winger at bay. Can't ask more from a full back. And a special mention for dave 'the rave' raven solid performance again. The confidence from the results has clearly translated into his performance and he can fair whip in a cross when the opportunity presents itself. Well played. On a sour note a mr Andrew macdonald changed his allegence on the 90th minute and thought it a good idea to give Alan Mannus the ball back ASAP instead of keeping it as a momento. This cost is the game. IMO. And it's all hi fault.

Choice of keeper on Wednesday
id put reguero in. I've not been able to trust esson at all this season. He's had his worst run of form since he's been here.

ICT -V- Ross County
County took te lead yesterday then instantly took Tokely on for glen (who had been subbed on just minutes before hand to try get the win) and parked the bus for the last 5 minutes. I was behind the dugout and fotheringham was raging when he came off and so was glen. Seems deek isn't everyone's favourite person at the global energy stadium right now.

Gary Warren
Oh nearly forgot. If you look at the highlights of our 4-1 loss to Motherwell. You'll be able to see his spectacular overhead kick attempt. If it wasn't for the Motherwell keeper who is a cut above most in the spl he would've scored it. You can see his performance on the splofficial YouTube account.

Gary Warren
Gary's settled in very well. He's A real leader at the back. What we've lacked for a long time. But aswell as been solid and a leader he can play abit. Very comfortable with the ball at his feet and he's a brilliant distributer of the ball.
